2015 is such a bizarre time for us Astros fans. We hadn’t felt this good since we won a pennant, and hadn’t even made the postseason. Honestly, with how we’ve been spoiled for choice since, I think we were all just glad to be here, and beating the Yankees along the way to do it. And besides, no one was beating the Royals that year; an absolute team of destiny right there.
I feel like it's a really wierd year for everyone. There were no super teams. There was no team that was the best
@@bradschneider82 You could say the Cardinals were the super team; they were the only one to win 100 regular season games, only for the Cubs to knock them out.

I still remember when KC came back from down 8-3 to win like 11-8 at Minute Maid. They just kept hitting and it killed me on the inside.
Our bullpen couldn’t hold a 5 run lead to save our lives that year

This reminds me of the Mariners vs Astros ALDS. A young playoff inexperienced squad going against a favorite to win the WS. Mariners are definitely on the right path to being a favorite to win it all and I’ve seen it before with the Astros working their way up to the top so more power to u Mariners fans!
Except the Royals haven't been back to the playoffs since 2015.
@@shoukatsukai which is crazy to believe considering they had a good core going on, and that also means I’m very lucky to be an Astros fan experiencing the golden era of Astros baseball!
@@shoukatsukai I don’t think the Mariners will implode like the Royals did. They have a bigger payroll and Dipoto has built the team for success.
@@Gemnist98 You missed the point. OP said the Astros were the inexperienced team facing the Royals in 2015, like the Mariners were the inexperienced team facing the Astros in 2022. But unlike the Royals, the Astros have sustained success afterwards.

The Astros were inexperienced and wasn’t quite ready yet even though it took KC 5 games to beat them…I remember pulling for KC after they eliminated my Astros in the WS against the Mets since they lost a heart-breaking 7 game series (with game 7 at home) to SF the year before…After this defeat and as we all know, the Astros have been to 6 ALCS, 4 WS, with 2 chips. Not boasting or bragging, just stating facts! Go Stros! 💪🏾

The only time the Rangers and Astros had a chance to meet in the postseason, then they both choked their ALDS leads.
The Rangers probably would’ve defeated this Astros team. At this time, the Rangers were dominating the Astros..Now how the tables have turned in recent years with all due respect to the Rangers, who on paper should be dangerous this upcoming ‘23 season…We’ll see…

Game 2 & Game 4 were both amazing comebacks, as a blue jays fan I felt so sad now, feeling that if Astro won that series, maybe we can...you know😄😄. But man...only Mad Bum can beat those Royals, they just never die

@@legendarywatermelon1678 I don’t know, the Mets were pretty fresh themselves. They had great pitching, but I think the one-two bats of Josh Donaldson and Jose Bautista would have certainly been tricky.
