The funny actress Bonnie Hunt is guest on Tom Snyder's 'The Late Late Show' during this 1999 interview and their last ever together. Both Tom and Bonnie have great chemistry together. Also included is Snyder's opening (intro) and closing from this 3/24/99 show and two clips from past shows including Dennis Franz's vietnam story and Billy Connolly with one of his most hilarious stories ever.
Bonnie Lynn Hunt (b. 1961) is an American actress, comedian, director, producer, writer and television host. Her film roles include Rain Man, Beethoven, Beethoven's 2nd, Jumanji, Jerry Maguire, The Green Mile, Cheaper by the Dozen, and Cheaper by the Dozen 2.
Tom Snyder (1936 -2007) was an American television personality, news anchor, and radio personality best known for his late night talk shows Tomorrow, on the NBC television network in the 1970s and 1980s, and The Late Late Show, on the CBS Television Network in the 1990s. 'Tom Snyder was a pioneering figure in broadcast journalism who brought a no non-sense attitude to broadcast television news. Loved by millions, respected by peers, and resisted by the executives for speaking his mind.'
Dennis Franz (b.1944), known professionally as Dennis Franz, is a retired American actor best known for his role as Detective Andy Sipowicz in the ABC television series NYPD Blue (1993-2005), a role that earned him a Golden Globe Award, three Screen Actors Guild Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards. He also portrayed Lt. Norman Buntz in the similar NBC series Hill Street Blues (1985-1987) and its short-lived spinoff, Beverly Hills Buntz (1987-1988).
Billy Connolly/Sir William Connolly CBE (b.1942) is a Scottish artist, musician, presenter, actor, and retired stand-up comedian. He is sometimes known, especially in his homeland, by the Scots nickname The Big Yin ("The Big One"). Known for his idiosyncratic and often improvised observational comedy, frequently including profanity, Connolly is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential stand-up comedians of all time, having topped many polls conducted in the United Kingdom

@@advids5572 ....these episodes somehow appeared in my recommendations list and am so glad they did. Lately it's been tough to find really good quality, longer content that holds my interest. I couldn't watch the original airings for various reasons but sure appreciate that I can do so now.

Thank You for all these TS shows. I began my teenage years with the Tomorrow Show and moved into my 40's with Mr.Snyder. Carson was the touchstone for millions, but for me it's Tom. His touch with guests/audience was so unique. Miss you TS.

Tom is always memorable, clever and witty here and of course Bonnie Hunt was one of the funniest guests on the show. Always love this show and thanks to AdVids for releasing it to your channel for many others to discover the show as well.

Podcasters will never understand the finesse it takes to be at the level of Tom.... I am going to be interviewed by a young podcaster soon and I sent him homework: watch Mr. Snyder and THEN interview me.

Tom's wrong.....Chicagoans need A/C about May to Sept./Oct. It isn't constantly cold in the Midwest--sometimes our summer humidity levels are similar to south Florida's or the Gulf coast.

I listened to Tom faithfully when he had his National Radio Show......stayed with him through (my favorite era) the CNBC series, and through the CBS years. Tom's having NO GUESTS to play to, caused REAL conversation, back and forth, and the atmosphere was great for late night. He was THE BEST interviewer ever, for he always read books, and researched his guest's careers.
RIP, Tom. The Good Lord knows we miss you! There is UNFUNNY left-wing political pablum spewed now, and everything is JOKES, JOKES, JOKES---for cheap laughs with a "Studio Audience."
I'm so glad Tom had NO audience, to promulgate quality discussion.
