    I installed the quiet baffles on a 2014 Street Bob in Big Shots staggered after watching your vid. I was a bit sceptic but I'm very happy with the result. They take the sharp edge of the noise and now the bike sounds great. Not quiet at all; just much more comfortable. Nice roar... Thanks!

    Great video! No talking, no corny music, short and sweet and let the bike do the "talking"!

    Super helpful when you did that back and forth mix between Before and After. Just purchased these and waiting for them to arrive because the pipes with stock baffles are driving me nuts, not to mention my neighbors. Thanks for posting the video.

    I put a set of shortshots on my m8 Softail. I heard these were horrible loud, so I ordered the quiet baffles right along with the pipes. The quiet baffles were in for about 1 day! Believe it or not, the bike sounded DAMN NEAR STOCK!!!!
    Everytime I hear these guys say they are nasty loud, I just shake my head, cuz that's not my experiences at all. Gotten on my old FXR too. Look great on both!

    Awesome video. Thanks!
    I can tell that a lot of the high end sound is tamed with the baffles.

    I just tossed the quiet baffles on my 06 Street Bob. Cut the volume down quite a bit. Still much louder than stock pipes, but no where near the volume with the stock short shot baffles now.

    The quiet baffles made the tone deeper but the volume is about the same (maybe a bit lower?), I like the deeper sound.

    I was wondering why my 48 with short shots sounds like some metal plates clapping! Just ordered these baffles.. hopefully it'll filter out that treble.

      @@peteyoungthawon the sound has become much better. This was what i was expecting. Now it's much better to hear. That annoying sound is gone. Good bass.

    Still a nice sound with the baffles.Probably helps the torque curve I'd imagine.

    • @dragosdragota9115

      The sound is nice and theoretically V&H sais the torque is increased a bit on the low rev.

      It is loud, it only reduces few decibels. It is the tone that changes.

    Hi, great vid. I noticed that you have running lights on the crash bars. Where do they plug into as I am about to install the very same ones.

    • @dragosdragota9115
      @dragosdragota9115  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dutch Oak Photography & Video Thanks for the mesage. Unfortunately I did not install them. I took them to a shop and they did the setup. I remember they mentioned something that the fog lighs need to turn off on high beam so they cannot be always on.
      Sorry i cannot help you here.

    Great video bro, clear comparison I see for the first time.
    How was the ride with the new baffles? Do you see any noticeable difference in low end torque? Or, to the contrary, any loss of power in any range?

    What bars are those? Also wanted to add your bike sounds great! Before and after but the after sounds really deep and mean! Good job.

      @dragosdragota9115  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi and thank you for your feedback. If you refer to the crash bars, they are some aftermarket bought from a company in Poland. I think they cost ~150 euro. I am Europe based, leaving in Romania.

      So I guess it would be a little difficult to meet up and ride together since I live in America. Kinda have an ocean in between us lol. I actually meant your handlebars.

    • @dragosdragota9115
      @dragosdragota9115  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The handlebars are standard 1" drag bars of Fat Bob (i think they are called fat drag). I did not change anything there.

    same loud sound

  • @ubiratamuniz
    @ubiratamuniz 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    it seems to baffle the "high pitch" tones that drive us crazy when we ride our bikes with sport exhausts.
