So I pretty much grew up on Fish and Chips, in my home town we didn't have many takeaways or restaurants but one thing we did have were chippys! As I've gotten older it has become increasingly harder and harder to find a Proper Traditional BRITISH Fish and Chip shop!
I've been asked by loads of you to try Mother Hubbards so I thought I'd head down to check it out!

Mother Hubbard's is legendary. Bradford and surrounding residents will know it before it started franchising.. huge portions! Good review..something different from burgers..👍

That is a brilliant fish n chips place , me n my boy faz , was on bus training, we had to stop to get lunch, there old skool with up-to-date new ingredients, 10/10 certified trust me
that food looked phenomenal! i've been eating fish and chips for about 50 years now and i've had some cracking food over the years but those just looked out of this world, that keema pasty looked fantastic, when i have an indian i always get a keema naan bread and they are usually gorgeous( as long as they're not burnt of course), excellent video as usual, the portions you get would have been enough to have fed the african continent in the 80s!

I recommend watching your vids to the end, they're always entertaining and sometimes there's a bit of a surprise, like the unusual fish cake or keema pasty in this one. I need to organise a weekend in Bradford, you make it seem like a fast foodie paradise. The council should be paying you a commission.

Absolutely love this chippy only discovered it a couple weeks ago and been here about 3-4 times within 2-3 weeks😂
If you ever venture further out of the country, I have a couple of recommendations. Fylde Fish Bar (Southport), and Barnacles (Llandudno).

I know the main man who owns this franchise from Bradford.
I actually go to Mother Hubbards in my home city at lunch time now and then as it is close to my work place. The Fish and Chips and Peas are amazing but the Fish Fingers, Fish Cakes and Fish Bites are all very tasty. I love putting a lot of salt and vinegar on my Fish and Chips
Mr "Aeration" Ali back at it again with another smashing video. Sensational form as always. Learning new words now. Must be mushy peas and curry sauce with the fish and chips. While leaving I get chips and gravy as a takeaway.

With fish and chips or even chip butty curry sauce all day long. Also those fish cakes are common in Bradford, seen it in more than one fish and chip shop
You literally went near a traditional Chip Shop in Chorlton next door to Oh My Burger and its Halal and they do English and Irish Curry sauce, I recommend you try it with the Irish Curry Sauce, not Forgetting Uncle B's in Rusholme, check them both out

Huge thanks to my late mom who always prepared this meal for us, her family. She had always used spanish mackerel covered with cream crackers crumb, n d chips were potatoes cut into chips, nowadays wedges n french fries.

Love fish and chips. Very much a childhood food. Peas that are dull in colour are more natural brother. The vibrant green is food colouring. Go for natural.

Try the fish and chips at Betty's in Harrogate and York. Come to the Geordieland aka Newcastle and there are quite a few fish and chips restaurant here.

Went to the one in Oldham. Didn’t think much of it. I usually go to Uncle B’s on the curry mile and I think it’s better

If you ever go to Scotland and see the Isle of Skye, it's beautiful.
When I was there I tried to go to the 'Old School Restaurant'. The front of house lady was a clear racist - she said she does not have a table until 9pm. They closed at 8pm. Also, a male diner crossed his arms when he saw five Asian lads.
Drove a bit further down the road and went into the Misty... They do an amazing golden breadcrumbed fish and chips! Wouldn't recommend anything else.
I plan to one day visit Scotland!

Mother hubbard‘s true Bradford classic I’ll always go there twice a year. Never had you down as a fish and chips guy so never recommended it.

Another good video still waiting on pizza shops in Bradford.
Firstly it's a teacake.
Secondly the Wakefield branch have finished the Sunday meal deals which was super good value, and the fish has shrunk by like 60% on the standard size fish hence why I've not been in for a while, but it is good fish and chips, if the deals have restarted or the fish sizes have gone back to normal can someone pls comment, many thanks

A lot of Chinese buffets aren't halal unfortunately.

Etan I am unsure what you are referring to. I am simply stating most Chinese buffets that I am aware of in Manchester do not cater for the halal diet.
Muslims only eat halal and Muslims can come from any place in the world, not just kashmir 👍
