In the summer of 2018, the FIFA World Cup was host by Russia. The semi-final took place in Moscow at the Luzhniki stadium. The teams of England and Croatia took part in that match. I went to Nikolskaya Street, which is located in the center of Moscow, to film English football fans for my TH-cam channel. This video was filmed by me, the creator and author of this channel. It is original content. The use by third parties has not been approved by the author. The purpose of this video is to show English football fans, including their singing and the so-called "chants", so it does not contain voice-overs, but it's still interesting and valuable to the audience, as evidenced by the number of views and comments.

All this was allowed for the duration of the World Cup, for you, the fans and guests of our Motherland, so that you feel good and comfortable! The Russian police officers showed restraint and communicated with the fans of England in the most correct way! You are also allowed to hang flags out of respect for you as guests, but this is not customary with us! If, for example, there were local fans of Moscow clubs in the place of the British, everything could have ended much "more fun", the British would definitely not like it!

I live in Russia, Saint Petersburg. Unlike the times of World Cup usually in my city there is no police in the plain view. You can walk for hours without noticing a single policeman.
In case of altercation the police always behave like this. In most cases they try to appease and placate rather than escalate and execute force.
Like, do not beat the crap out of each other, shake hands, are you good, be polite etc.
But do not even try to start fight with them or attack them. It’s a serious crime.
