Hey, Leysa! Sorry to hear about your back, but I'm glad that you're doing better. :) By the way, any character can do the Dawnguard (and Dragonborn) DLC quest lines. 1:20 - There is generally a necromancer around that Serpent Stone. They do respawn. 2:10 - Shadowmere (like the unicorn) are immortal and will agro against any nearby bad guys (for better or worse). 🐴 Well done with those bandits! Sometimes one can find bandits fighting with draughr, bears, mages, etc., randomly in the wild. There are also TH-cam channels that only show NPCs moving about a city which are great for background music while working. 6:12 - I'm sure you've seen goblins before! Maybe in WoW? ;-) They are not common in Skyrim - in fact, this Gromm's Pass location and items (like the steel-blue entomola's) are part of a creation club addition in the Anniversary edition. In my case, I don't recall ever coming to this location. I'll try to visit next time. 16:25 - If you are curious what the steel-blue entamola's do, you can eat one. 17:55 - I'm guessing that goblin was hacking away at that ore for a while. This could explain why there was no ore left. 19:00 - There are other, smaller beings who are not quite human size who qualify as "pets", not "followers" (there are others). So, yeah... it seems he'll stay with you and Janessa. Speaking of the Dawnguard quests, if you, Janessa, and Gogh decide to start that one, you could add Serana to the mix, too. So, you, Serana, Janessa, Gogh, and Shadowmere can all stay together and run around creating havoc! 22:42 - If you dismiss him, you would either have the chance to tell him which home to visit, or he will likely return to the cave where you found him. 24:09 - Modding for the design? For me, it's not a big deal one way or the other. I have always found the storyline, lore, quests, and character abilities are the main part of the game. On a side note, some used an AI to rebuild the major Skyrim towns. Stunning videos. Check for "Leo Torres" on TH-cam for these. 27:08 - Dwemer ruins aren't always super big. ;) And yes, some quests can be this short. Some others may seem short but are not. 30:40 - WOW! So, Gogh can summon storm atronachs! 🌩 Sounds like he might be a keeper. 32:03 - Well done with the skeletons! It looks like you picked up a strong follower and are clearing out your quest queue in this episode. 36:22 - By the way, those "cultists" were sent by Miraak. 47:22 - The Gaulder Amulet quests are in different places and involves quite a few quests. That may be one dedicated episode, if you want to. 49:13 - Ahh!! So, you still have the Skeleton Key, eh? 1:06:22 - Not sure about what happened with that puzzle there. 1:08:10 - If you inspect the claw (open it in your inventory and check it), you should be able to open that locked door. Congrats on getting the new follower! 👏 Take care!
I think the reason the Cultist Mask had the little marking next to it in the menu is that it might be the piece of Heavy Armor headgear with the highest armor value that you have? If you wear Light headgear and you haven't picked up any Heavy, the mask would be the 'best' in that category, according to the game.
Ohh, yea, fair. I kinda wish you could somehow indicate an armor preference so it wouldn't suggest things, but I guess that goes down the "picking a class" route they were trying to avoid.
Yes, now you moved over to a much longer quest. Note that one of the amulet pieces in in Saarthal. To get in there, Leysa needs to follow in Kyrkii's footsteps and play the first two quests in College of Winterhold questline.
Hi, Leysa! I'm not sure if you already know this or not but it's been 13 years to the day since Skyrim was released. Happy birthday, Skyrim! I'm not sure what happens if you dismiss Gogh since I'm assuming he's part of the added content that I don't have access to, but if he follows the rules of other followers he should go back to the cave where you first discovered him. Don't forget the clues as to how to open the claw doors are on the claw itself. Just select it from your inventory and examine it.
Hi Carl! 👋 I did not know that! Thanks for letting me know. How cool I happened to choose today for a Skyrim video release 😃 Happy birthday Skyrim, indeed! Sigh. That didn't pop in there, obviously. It's been a while since I had a claw thing, but that's still embarrassing 🤦♀️Thank you for the hint 😅
The puzzle that "didn't work" at the end, you are supposed to imagine was already solved before. They dead adventurers came before you, and they used that puzzle to open that gate. (You found the claw on the dead guy past that gate.) I guess they made it so you could not reclose it in case you didn't get that, because it is not very clear.
@@leysaplays He actually counts as a "pet." You can have one follower and one pet. A "pet follower" can be a dog. In the Dawnguard you can get a husky dog or a pet frost troll. You can also get a Riekling follower.
This Casival guy was actually Gathers-the-Coin! Before I found him, I for sure thought the writer of the Crimson Dirks books was an Argonian (with a name like that). Some of these Alternative Armors quests are quite lame, and there are 15(!) of them. But I do like the whole storyline about the Crimson Dirks. I owned seven of those 15 Alternative Armors "creations" from earlier. Once I had the full Anniversary Edition, I made it my own quest to find all the Crimson Dirks books (there are nine), plus other readables related to them. (I needed help to find two of the quests in the end). Once I knew the full story, the final showdown with Tyra Blood-Fire on that playthrough felt a lot more poignant - and kind of sad.
As far as adding Mods....I dont think it needs many visual ones. I don't want to see Skyrim full of super models. Maybe ones that give different animations? Or extra dialogue? Up to you really. Although sometimes adding Mods causes misc glitches.

Oooof, ouch. Well. Forewarned is forearmed, I suppose ;) Thank you for the head's up!
I like how you flicked those mushrooms out of that bucket.
Ha, really? It was *totally* intentional and impressive then 😉😄
Goblins are small, quick moving targets, i guess.
True, but he was just right in front of me stationary and I wasn't hitting him. Grrrr.

You have opened dragon claw doors before. Remember how you did it.They are all the same.
"Remember" being the key word. Dangit. The one thing/place I didn't look. I feel stupid.

The blue mushrooms can be planted at your farm or in any fertile soil.
Good to know!
Ahh, that makes sense. I wasn't looking at it from that perspective.
Yup, Gogh is a bonus companion. From a Mod, i would guess that over writes the normal one companion rule.
Do you know what happens with him if you dismiss him?
@@leysaplays Nope. I assume he would return to where ever you found him like most Companions.

I'll be honest - 95% of this went over my head :) But! I love your enthusiasm, knowledge and passion, and willingness to share!
I would have no problems watching you do a modded playthrough
Thank you for the feedback and answering my question! :)

I would just like nicer textures, make the graphics crisper, a little brighter and smoother and such. Not totally replace things with new graphics.
