No surprises - short (Radiohead synth cover)

- Trying a new approach (that I've also seen in a couple of other channels): Making short versions of songs. I get bored after a while when making music and it doesn't take long before I just want to get it done, so maybe a short version is more suitable?
Finished this a few months ago but never got around to making a video for it so I just put the camera up and made a recording. I thought I could just make a similar (but obviously simpler) version of the original video (where you only see Thom's head slowly being submerged) but a slow zoom was more convenient for me ;)
The music was made using only virtual instruments and Cubase 12. I think the lip-sync looks a bit off at times. I also realize filming in 4K would have made the zoom look a bit better in the end, but eh... - เพลง

This is perfect and I love the vocals here but I would add more reverb to the vocals. They sound a little to staccato.
Hi. Thanks for the feedback. I admit my mixing skills are poor and my singing technique is crap so I used a lot of compression on the vocal track to get it to sound more even. That might perhaps make it sound "staccato" as you describe it. The original seems to have even less reverb, but he's probably a better singer than me ;) and that version is also a bit more "intimate" compared to my electronic one.
