Centurion Wrestling: Ankle Ride Series: Breakdown to Assassin

One key to dominating on top is knowing the moves you can do off the reactions to your techniques. When an opponent breaks down off our ankle ride and crossface we can use another dominant top technique to turn and pin him.
The Assassin is very difficult to hit but also incredibly more difficult to fight. It’s been used at all levels of wrestling and if you have it in your back pocket can take even the best opponents by surprise!

That’s the hardest part of anything with kids! But most kids are good about it, I usually have them all sat in front of me so I can pay attention to them as I teach

In this video do you release the hands after the opponent is turned?

@@kdak247 thank you! It’s always worth it though because a lot of kids will still get a lot out of it!
For this particular technique I’m teaching to work for the fall so I wouldn’t release, but for most top technique I focus on transitioning right into the next technique.
