I have never seen a farrier/barefoot-trimmer so patient, with such a kindness, patience, good communication with the horse!

Your kindness and patience towards this mare is amazing. I can only imagine how great it would be if more people handled their horses so unrestrained! Loved watching this. Please keep sharing.

I’m learning a lot about how to do heels from these videos. 🙏🏼

There is tons of hoof trimmers out there. Focusing on doing hoofs. You are unique. Talking to the horse in a communication soul to soul way. Something i have missed in all of the billion videos out there of trimming a horse. Finally. Thank you, i think i love you! ;) The horse so obviously trust you, it is humbling and beautiful to watch.

It's easy to tell how much better she feels after you took down those heels. Wish you were in my neck of the woods in Arizona!

It's so nice to see someone trim with the "Goldilocks" level of heels. What do I mean by that? I mean... they're just right. I had one farrier who left my horse with waaaaay too much heel, to her detriment, and one who trimmed off so much that she left her standing on her frogs and just about nothing else. You handle heels so beautifully!

Usually anytime another Ferrier is knocking the previous Ferrier because of the imperfections in a hoof that’s overgrown it’s a sign of insecurity that they have in themselves, I’ve been a Ferrier for 40 years and I wouldn’t even call that a trim job he’s doing, he needs to evaluate his own levelness

I love your principle of giving a new horse a good first experience by providing some relieve the very first time you pick up that hoof. And it worked! She let you handle her back feet without any trouble, plus you got some kisses as a thank you.

one doesn't just learn excellent hoof work, but also wonderful handling of a horse. Your patience and gentle handling is wonderful and should be so much more widespread! Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us

I love each horses response to your trims. Each time it seems like a huge relief to them and like their giving you a big thank you. I'm following closely and enjoy watching each video, I'm so grateful you've taken the time to post these videos and teach others. I trim my 4 horses and they are absolutely loving the changes in how I'm trimming them now versus barefoot trimming I did before. I can't explain their response to what seems like a simple trim but it must help each horse immensely for them to respond with such joy, willingness and gratitude. Thanks for the instruction and the work you do!! Looking forward to more videos in the future!! :)

Are her soles red from the previous farrier trimming them too thin, or did she have laminitis I wonder.

Owners need to realize that if they get pushie about the time & gentleness a hoof care provider takes to make a horse feel better...the trim or shoeing doesn't always get completed properly....which is never going to be good for the horse...

Well that is a reaction of a horse. Such nice work
But I wonder: why didn't you trim the bar's ? They seem to be very high

From watching too many corrections to horses feet, I wonder if this is a kind of self regulated profession? Buy the equipment and you are in business? Please say NO.
