  • Maintaining your ceramic coating and giving it a "boost" from time to time, is incredibly easy. "Clutch" Si02 spray sealant from Shine Supply not only smells delicious, but adds a kick of gloss & refreshes your ceramic coating with more of the ingredients it needs to stay strong. While this product is initially designed for ceramic coating maintenance, it has many other uses. Protect your matte paint finish with it (without changing the sheen), juice up your plastic trim, or apply over your existing paint sealant. Darkens. Richens. Protects. Simple.

    Just ordered a bottle of clutch , and this video helped me tremendously with understanding the use of it. Excited to try it out this week on my coated cat. Thank you

    Thanks for the tips. The smearing you referred to I also got with ignition detail spray. Not nearly as bad, but compared to some other detail sprays, the smears from ignition were a pain to buff off. I did not overuse, FYI.

    Great Vid. What the durability as a stand alone, with no previous ceramic coating?
    On a vehicle paint that's prepped properly.

    Can this product be used as a stand alone product if you don't want to "coat" your car with a typical Si02 coating?

    My wheels are coated in bead lock and windshield + front sides are coated in g1 clear vision. Is clutch ok to use on the wheels and front + side glass and uncoated rear glass? Or should I use punch it? Also can clutch be used in direct sunlight?

      I’m not a professional but from what I experienced when I used clutch on my ceramic coated car in direct sunlight after washing & drying, it did enhance the gloss and hydrophobic properties. I applied clutch in segments and buffed off after 2-3 minutes since the SI02 would begin to flash quickly due to the temperature, sun, etc.. after that I used a quick detailed all around to make sure I didn’t miss any areas. I did not have any smears or water spots afterwards. An available garage/carport would be nice but not everyone has that! I hope that helps you answer your question 3 years later lol

    Can clutch be used after cherry silica wax if my car has NO ceramic coating on it?
    Great video 😁👌

    What happens if you don't remove the clutch? I sprayed clutch directly on the car (matte film protector treated with full ceramic coating), wiped it into the matte film, and I did this 3-4x in a row (since I haven't boosted my ceramic coating for almost 1.5 to 2 years). I did not go back and wipe off the clutch afterwards. Will this damage anything?

    Question - I have SHIFT THROTTLE AND CLUTCH (great stuff). When I ceramic coated, I used Migliore and I did the compound, polish and micro polish first (3M 1-2-3). So this should last a year but my question is what do I do when it starts to wear off? NO video, nothing says "Removing ceramicoat to apply a new coating". So do I have to go through the 3 steps compound plish etc again or is there an easier path? I ask because I think I want to try a different brand ...thanks

    Do you throw away the application towel after using clutch?

    • @larrysing
      @larrysing 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, there are not that many solids that will ruin the towel.

    I think I’m in big trouble. I applied clutch to the entire car withe the recommended applicator and let it sit for 3 hours, but this stuff is smearing all over the place and it will not come off. How do I get this cleaned off my car. My car looks terrible.

      No you don’t let it sit for 3 hours 😂😂 what’s wrong with you ! Try using an IPA, if that doesn’t work than you’ll have to polish it out

      You can contact Shine Supply directly for the answer to that. Nearly EVERY BRAND in the world, has a blender. I can only think of a few that actually manufacture their own chemicals in house. Best of luck on your research.
