Leon reminds Luxion of the old humans, who created him. Leon is also interesting to Luxion. Luxion would still like to destroy the New Humans but he understands that it would upset Leon and avoiding that is higher priority than defending a society that ended centuries ago. If Olivia had been the one to discover Luxion, it probably would of acknowledged her as having trace DNA from the old human race and been a lot more content with its master. Or maybe Luxion is more content with Leon because he has these weird but prophetic delusions of this being a game world? That Leon has a certain level of understanding of technology, and trusts Luxion even knowing that Luxion hates the new humans and their world. Also Luxion isn't in a hurry. He can still destroy the new humans after Leon has passed away.

I think this has been a really underrated anime this season , the visuals aren’t great but I like the story and it’s hilarious . Leon being toxic is some of the funniest shit I’ve seen in anime

When the prince entourage built or have the "Gundam" model rebuilt I believe the one in manga in it's "Art" is better but in Anime in here this one takes the cake because I forgot to account the uselessness of the Prince entourage in skill and wisdom, the "art of this gundam" that they repair and "redesign" shows their pathetic worth and worst mistakes in life.
I highly recommend you check out the source material being the Light Novels over the manga which is like the anime, just an adaptation of the LN series. LNs are also way ahead of the manga adaptation.
Its a shame that the anime has mostly caught up with the manga, there's not much more to take from it. If they want to pass the manga and go straight for the LN, they may be better off that way.
It was revealed in the Marie route that game Olivia was possesed by the ghost of the first Saint(after aquiring the saint artifacts) that wanted to destroy the kingdom. So its not really Olivia but Olivia's body with a ghost inside (she has no control over her own body) that started seducing the 5 idiots.
Spoiler: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Add in the fact the reason why the first saint(Anne) wanted the kingdom destroyed is due to the ancestors of the five idiots betraying lea bartfort(anne's love interest), who is leon's ancestor.

TBH this actually looks more accurate to the description of the mech in the LN than what they had in the manga. All the salvageable parts of their broken mechs cobbled together into one mismatched hodgepodge of a mech.

Read the source material being the LNs. LNs are really good and WAY farther ahead of the manga adaptation. Anime ended at Volume 2, manga adaptation is still near the start of Vol 3 and won't even finish adapting that volume this year...whereas the LNs have 6 officially licensed volumes released with the 7th coming out in September. So I would say start at Vol 3 of the LNs.
The studio working this anime doesn't even have 10 animes under their name, their fairly new. I'd say it's pretty good considering the studio is so new.

I hope this gets a season 2. Leon is such a different protagonist than usual and I'm serious getting invested in his story.
