I love how at 0:26 Angie instinctively realizes who the biggest threat in the room is.
Agreed, and like a minute later when he's revealing Mylene's status and everyone's surprised, and Angie's just standing there like "... *sigh* Here we go."
Its so funny because Leon is actually not the most skilled, or the smartest, or the best pilot in the series. He is however absolutely the strongest because of how ruthless he is. He absolutely goes for his enemies weak points whatever they are even outside of battle. He is pretty world wise. Even without Luxion he would be quite dangerous. There are a few stories in his past life that are mentioned too that show just how brutal he can be.
As I recall, he asks the queen to marry him in the following scene.
A man with taste.
And in the subsequent months/years, the Queen basically falls in love with him and they send messages to each other quite secretly (or not so secretly). I think in the LN's, he becomes known as "The Queens Toy Boy".
Dude even gets his fiance's to deliver his "naughty" letters to the Queen. They aren't pleased with it, but it's less out of jealousy (at least implied, anyway) than it is that he REALLY shouldn't be putting moves on the Queen. Because it's not a great idea to do politically.

@@StormTheOnigiri Leon actually falls in love with the queen and notes several times that if he could, he would marry her. She seems to very much be his “type”. But, he gets a third girl later that basically acts the same as the queen does, so he easily falls for her, too.
He's kind of giving off naofumi with the way he calmly thought out the situation mixed with kazuma vibes just with the way after he folded them he used the queens status as justification

I love how self aware this series is. It mocks how jumbled the plot is which most other series that are similar don't. It's set in a world where islands float, society is stuck in medieval times, there's magic and advanced technology as well as monsters. Instead of trying to justify everything, the MC points out the ridiculous setting numerous times throughout the show. It's a breath of fresh air.
I don't know if you have read the LN since writing this comment, but I have to say that the author uses Luxon or the Queen to explain most of the logic behind the scenarios and how everything ended that way, yet Leon plays deaf to any and all explanation as that would reduce the feeling of it being a game world, and it would become a tragic tale.
The person making these titles needs a raise 😂

That's the thing, though. In countries where a royal family exists, the faces and identities of those royal family members are usually well known. For a noble to not know the face of the queen is unfathomable, and borderline shameful.
