    That opening cinematic is so on point. "We regret nothing." And they really don't, and see the Craftworld Eldar as weak for pulling back from the precipice. After all, Slaanesh is just another obstacle for them to overcome and thus prove their superiority over each other (no other race's opinion matters of course). Love the little touches that show how miserable everything is.

    On the chair in the lore blurb: It is an actual chair with eyes. When the Drukhari are done with their playthings they reshape them into immortal sentient furniture to suffer for all eternity.

      It is funny that most Warhammer lore has toned down the over the top stupid edgy shit and horro over the decades, except for Dark Elves, which are just moronically edgy losers without end

      @@Sharkdude3000 I wouldn't call them losers... they actually get away with most of the things they do, to the point that terra even sought out haemonculi to repair the golden throne and promised them a free raiding area in the imperium to compensate. Even if you shoot them chances are a haemonculus already has one of their fingers ready to make a new body for them back in commorragh. in a setting filled with morally grey areas like the imperium killing thousands to save millions and people being corrupted by the warp with good intentions, I actually find it refreshing to see a group that doesn't try to hide how much of a monster they are, in fact they revel in it. chaos is insanity, orks and tyranids are acting out of instinct, necrons are trying to reclaim their empire, the imperium, tau, and eldar do horrible things to keep their people alive. But the dark eldar? they're simply too busy having fun chasing that next high to care anymore. they are bdsm space pirates high on warp dust and they know it.

    I love how they keep adding to the game. I always enjoy comming back to it aswell and watching you do the same.
    These guys are hard to use in the beginning, but once you get them going with transports etc they are really fun.

  • @nosywendigo592
    @nosywendigo592 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    42:13 - yes. Stack the transports around a hex, summon the webway gate, and then use a webway or summon another in a different area, these transports will flicker out of B webway and take up a hex.
    Raiders can heal units inside but you need the tech for it. Venoms take up 1 slot; Raiders take up 3 slots for infantry.

    In the few games I've tried with the Drukhari (I'm actually pretty new to the game, only about a week in, played a couple games with Eldari as my starter faction before the DLC hit) I found it pretty great opening to push for your Dark Foundry and get a couple Venom craft out asap to supplement your two starter infantry. Having them act as fire support craft and as an HP buffer for them gives them great longevity for clearing the wildlife, and I had the two starters surviving all the way up to the late game. The Haywire grenade upgrade helps keep them relevant, even if it has the ten turn cooldown. Keep them in their venom and drop them in to occasionally hit a vehicle or finish off a building.
    I largely ignored Wyches in my last game, only building two of them to forward the quest (I had just forgot to turn it off, didn't mean to play with it active) so only had the two before phasing them out for Incubi and pushing up to an Incubi, Tantalus, Scourge comp.

  • @scelonferdi
    @scelonferdi 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Honestly the conventional building division between vehicles, infantry and flyers doesn't make as much sense as an alternative for Drukhari. For the most part, they are split into 3 subfactions: Hamonculus Covens, Kabals and Wych Cults. A building for each of those would imho be more thematic.

    • @eduardodiaz9942
      @eduardodiaz9942 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Those subfactions manifest themselves mostly in the Dark City. During realspace raids, all of them work in unison because they need to bring slaves to torture if they don't want their souls being eaten by Slaanesh.

  • @TheMoonlitFaerie
    @TheMoonlitFaerie 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    One thing I would suggest checking is do your kabalites and wyches and so on having the same trait as regular eldar infantry - that is, they can shoot *then* move? Would've let you get a couple of hits in against the umbra in relative security. No idea if they do or don't, but since they both like that hit and run life it's definitely worth a look.

    • @nosywendigo592
      @nosywendigo592 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think you shoot then move. If you move, shoot, you cannot fleet back. Fleet in this game is 1.0 MOV max which is a bummer. Drukhari should be able to hit hard then run fast away.

    • @zelurstak
      @zelurstak 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Drukhari don't have that. Drukhari's hit and run tactics work around getting lot of bonuses when off-loading from vehicles.

    • @nosywendigo592
      @nosywendigo592 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@zelurstak From Raiders, yes. Raiders tend to support troops well with healing, bonuses in offloading, and adding a Haemonculi with strong powers rounds out a strike force. The fleet aspect of moving and shooting or shooting and moving comes from the tabletop game.

    • @zelurstak
      @zelurstak 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nosywendigo592 Not just Raiders. Every transport vehicle gives you those bonuses if you've researched them. Even the tier 1 venom. But Drukhari can't shoot and then move.

    What a load of bullshit. The Dark Eldar see themselves as the true inheritors of the Eldar race. They're the true kin, the true eldar, aeldari whatever. They would never call themselves Drukhari, 'Fallen Ones', or whatever that nonsense Drew Carrie name means.
