    I remember when I was a kid, I saw a guy drive into an intersection, then stop smack dab in the middle of it because the light had turned red before he reached the other side. Then he sat there with everyone honking at him until it went green again, wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes.

    I reckon we need a little secondary horn, that makes a gentle little “meep” sound to politely remind people they’ve missed the green light… I always feel so rude hitting the horn - it just sounds to me like I’m saying “GET OUT OF THE F@&£ING WAY!!!” When in reality I just want it to sound like Hugh Grant saying, “erm, well sir, if you ahhh, wouldn’t mind awfully, erm, could you just scoot, a little bit”… I’d call it the “Cute Toot”… I think I’m gonna start a Gofundme and make it happen

      @HowNotToHuman 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@venividivici1401 hahahaha! Yeah, nice one! I’d totally use the secondary horn all the time if one existed… I agree - when the horn was 😮 invented there were like three cars and 5 horses per street, and nothing moved faster than 10mph… technology needs to move along with the times, and I need a socially awkward horn for use when I want to hurry someone up without drawing too much attention to myself 🤣

      I always go for a quick double beep. I've found its least "I'm pissed at you" sound I can make it give and as long as I tend to look happy when I do it, Its usually a quick hand up to say sorry and drive on from the car in front when I do. A simple beep however seems to have something ominous to it 😅

      @aussie8114: But a red light is a red light regardless of the design of the intersection. The driver is danger to himself and other road users.

    • @aussie8114
      @aussie8114 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ericreckless541 There is a 2 or 3 second delay between the light changing to red in one direction and green in the other direction.
      My main point was simply that it’s a confusing intersection because the road is offset. That confusion can then cause the driver to do as he did. One design issue then creating a second driver issue.

    Either someone else took the test for them, they are using the family licence, they swapped their foreign licence for a UK one or they simply don't have one and the police don't care. The trouble is all these economic migrants (or asylum seekers as we are told to call them) come here and bring the standards of driving from their home country with them.

    I wonder at all.
    how people in the United Kingdom and all the countries that were once colonies of the United Kingdom.
    were ever able to get their driving license.
    I mean they all drive on the wrong side of the road.
    That's probably why the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.
    I don't know how true it is.
    But I heard that in America on many highways you are allowed to overtake left and right.
    If that is true, then I understand why there are so many traffic fatalities in America.
    If that's true.
    Then America is no better.
