Here in the usa, we're required to either fireblock the wall or the ceiling inside a soffit, to prevent fire in a wall from going up. Usually just rip osb and nail it to the wall first.
@@framnerdan look up a Dewalt dw089cg. It's a green laser that you can see in daytime, unless it's Bright out. I use it all the time in commercial construction laying out walls and ceilings. You could do your layout on the floor. Then just set your laser on the floor and line it up with your marks, and you'll have a level line up at your ceiling. Many other uses too. Just make sure you get green. Red laser is not as visible.
Bulk heads turned out nice! Some people her make them using OSB which is too expensive right now. Good work Amazing Framer!
Morning Sur Josh. Thank you.
@@framnerdan yes sir!
Yeah. Usually rip osb for the face.

Hi Dan great video as always, have you thought of using a laser instead of the chalk line?
No I have never thought of using a laser. But thanks for the idea. I’ll need a stand for the laser

@@framnerdan Hi Dan, I use a normal camera tripod.
Can you make a video on how to read blueprints?
Not sure what that would look like but I could try.
