You rule. Ya got something really special going on with your channel .... 318k subs Friday March, 2022. Can tell ya love it too ... it shows! hope your weekend is a great one! thanks for all the vids
What I appreciate about bro's vids are the "show and tell" method to his vids. He tries to explain (tell) things as simple as possible but showing you all the details, steps and tools involved in the project. Hell, after u finish watching Ole boi, you can actually do some or all the project yourself or at least tell a contractor how u want something done. 👏🏾 👏🏾
Your videos remind me of what This Old House used to be - likeable, engaging, knowledgeable people fixing up old, quirky homes. Your livestream the other day was fun too, seeing you work in real time. Thanks for bringing all of us along with you!
Matt, I have been enjoying your journey and really like the creative way you choose to construct the closet and reconfigure the headroom on the stairs. keep up the great work.
I watched as it brings back so many memories. And your better than T.V. We once built a shed with a should have been a sloping roof. But Peters and mine was level. It still stands after many years. This is why you bring back the memories. I'm 76 years old and done some stuff.
Working in cramped spaces, on a tight budget, most basic tools, no architecture drawings, making a few fixable mistakes....I love it! Btw, drywall yourself BUT have a pro tape n mud/finish.
The depth of real world home construction is on this channel Talking out loud to yourself might seem weird in the moment to any pets or family in the room … it’s great to hear you speak your thoughts this way when explaining with framing in hand. Can’t say enough
I caught up on the last few videos today. I wish I could have watched the live stream. What a huge change upstairs, and you finally got your headroom! This is looking so clean and functional for a crossroads place in the middle of your house. I can see the finished product in my head. Thanks for sharing the renovation with us. It’s enjoyable and satisfying to see hard work turn into a beautiful finished piece. Keep up the good work 👍
It's actually called a sliding bevel but whatever works best for you. Seen a few of your videos now and i find them very well explained also from reading some of the comments your helping tonnes of people so well done you. Keep up the good work 👍👍
I don't need to fix my basements bulkhead or anything, I am an artist after all, but this video is pretty cool. the way you show how to do it is awesome and easy to follow!!
Thank you for sharing your journey fixing your home. I have learned a lot from you. You explain everything that I can understand. I've watched many other videos, your's is by far better. I understand the gist of why to and why not. What are you going to do when you finally finish your house?
Thanks Matt. Love the channel. Well done. This piece helps lots. Im doing a simple sleep-out under a skillion roof on a sloping suspended concrete floor and been wondering how to manage the no load bearing stick framing at the floor level. This video helps hugely. Best. C
Could you tell me if the cost of a tool makes a tool better if it cost more. I’m asking about a oscillating tool. Should I pay more to get a good one or can a cheaper one do the job. Thanks
really specific thing but i'm always so paranoid about getting measurements wrong when pushing those metallic rulers into a corner, my need for exact-ness can be a kind of plague there
Why didn't you just attach the drywall to the ceiling and walls first before building the partition wall instead of adding all those strapping>probably would have been much easier and efficient. Love your content!
I watch because you make it interesting by explaining every step and because I love watching people fixin their houses!
Very cool! Thanks, Carla!

I watch because he doesn't have an OnlyFans and doubt he'd do the videos naked

You are the type of DIYer who encourages amateurs to do work in their houses. Props to you. Good content.

I wholeheartedly agree! TOH seems to show what you can do with an UNLIMITED budget, PLENTY of workers
and time. Fixer IS the Fixer! 🥳
@@sharonkaufmann3992 don’t get me started on This Old Mansion. 🤣
I’ve learned to just watch all your videos. There’s always a gem, even if the topic doesn’t seem relevant to my immediate needs.

maybe you can make pigeon holes on the angled part you can use it for storing shoes.

Спасибо,вы молодец.
@"Measure twice, cut once, that's my 'oops' line." Then still cut it too short! That was your "PRACTICE LINE"!
When you toenail what angle do you aim, 45 and how far from the bottom?
Having harmony in the home, might you ask the misses how deep should the linen shelves be.
Why would you use dry wall inside the cupboard & not use ply ? 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Why not use a piece of 1/2" plywood for the divider, held in place with trim around the perimeter? It would provide 2" of additional space.
why does the wood have smallpox?
I enjoy your construction projects but, when giving yourself more head room you could have created inverted steps to create shelving in your closets
