Great phone for the price. The keyboard works perfect and to me is very fast, takes good clear front and rear pictures. I would definitely recommend this phone.

This phone is the most capable phalbet there is. This is the best phone Samsung has ever made. BUT I like the S7 better. The S7 has a better processor than the j7. But the j7 never lags no matter what you do with it.
got mine at offer up for $100 new in box tmobile version phone is dope compared it to my mom's iPhone 6 Plus and same in screen size ---great with gear s2 White Bluetooth version #great review by the way

ChicagoHerps I went back to a Galaxy Mega 6.3. I sold my S6 Edge which was severely damaged and bought a practically brand new Mega for $120. Kinda liking the screen size. I really miss the camera from the S6 Edge, but I can live with that since I have a Nokia Icon for high powered picture taking.

I just got a new Galaxy J7 Prime and I hate it. It lags with T-Mobile 4g LTE , apps won't open and it's missing front notification led lights my Galaxy S5 had( Which I got nothing for on trade-in) It has these sensors on the front that detects your presents( Who want's that?)
Nonetheless in other reviews the difference between the 2015 and the 2016 people have claimed that theres slim to no difference between the two. ive had the galaxy core prime myself. and trust me. it gets better than what the core prime can do. lol the core prime is a good little phone but the j7 will run circles around it. haha
+Pavan Babhale The 2016 J7 also has a slightly bigger processor (1.6 GHZ Octa Core vs the older models 1.5 GHZ Octa Core) & bigger battery as well (3300 MaH for 2016 J7 vs 3000 MaH for the older J7).

It's seems that T-Mobile gets the phones later but they seem to bump up the specs. Like with the Boost Mobile and T-Mobile/metro pcs LG g stylo .

ardi du I've never had a G4 so I can't answer your question on that front. A quick perusal of the internet says no, they are not the same battery.

Also it has the Mali-T720 GPU, that's not the beefiest around. Personally, I only use Adreno.

Get the 5x. Reliable OS, Fingerprint Sensor, Capable CPU. Worth It if you ask me.
