A proper bike mechanic swears more than he speeks normal words i have almost invented a special bike mechs language of swear words myself none of which i can say on here.
What you mean just putting a clear lacquer on top of the carbon. It's easy to do. Bike companies don't bother as there not a lot of point. Carbon is fine without and weights less which is usually why it's left raw carbon.
Loved eery bit of the build. Those bloody orange forks blow it for me, though. That color is THE one reason I'm never gonna be spending a dime on that brand... Money does obviously not play a role in that hypothetical scenario, hue hue hue...

has anyone heard of Tektro TKD 143 Hydraulic disk brakes? I got them on my new Giant Talon 1 29er medium and I would like to know how they compare to tektros M275s or just other budget hydraulic brakes in general. I ask this because I have never seen or heard of the TKD 143 brakes.
Torque wrenches are only necessary for the amateur and the manufacturer to push more tools TBH, a well experienced mechanic has a good feel and is unlikely to over torque Carbon. I used one all the time for a while but now not so necessary. Unless it’s Schmolke, then use a torque wrench, I do still use a torque wrench for my brake rotors and stem clamp though
Alright guys, how good are Canyon bikes? Are their frames pretty durable and well made? I'm looking at the hardtails semi-pro level. I'm more interested in Scott bikes but they don't seem to be in any rush to produce hardtails.
Absolutely put me off buying a Canyon , in a box, paying for delivery and not having any of the tools or ability to put it together .. glad I watched it .. off to my local bike store to buy a bike off the peg 👍
Anyone else bought a canyon bike and major issue's? Eg: paint chipped down to base coat..paying $30 for extra for shipping protection. 3rd ride and my bike started making the dreaded creak sound. Turns out when i took the pivots apart the piviot mounts had alu filings and thread was ucked. Canyon gave me credit to fix paint chip then 6weeks later they sent me threatining emails saying i owed them money. Not having a go at gmbn.
Are Ergon ever going to release this version of the SM Enduro Pro to Joe public? You guys and their sponsored riders have been using them for a few months now...

how do you get a thro axil off when stuck solid ? am thinking of using 12mm tap to put 12 mm bolt in then unscrew from other side

Rich's Park Tool inventory must be devoid of torque drivers/wrenches.

we learned from Doddy that 2 compunds are needed for a pressfit assembly , but here in the build seemed to be using just one , Am i right ?
The primer is applied at 1.53 and left to cure, before the retaining compound later in the video 🔧

They will but I would imagine it’s still at the test mule stage, once they get enough data/Seat time then it’ll be out there soon enough
