I Love your makes I really miss your series show too❤ You amaze me with your passion for creating , seriously thank you, it gets me back into the groove of making. Happiest Halloween 🎃
Her IQ must be up there. Heck, the IQ test probably wouldn't even accurately measure someone who can just master so many hands-on skills like that. Who knows? I was just thinking about how she has so many skills as well and its just dumbfounding.
Oh, I cried at the Mr. Biggles' blessing inside the broom. Surely this will be an incredibly powerful talisman, Ms. McConnell. Thanks for sharing this!!! Wonderful to watch the artistic process, and to see the crafting of the wood.
A deeply heartfelt homage to Mr Biggles. Thank you for sharing it with us. It’s always breathtaking watching your creations come to life. Your talent is beyond remarkable. Wishing you Christine a Happy Halloween.🎃 🍁🦇
I'm sure you can see yourself that the broom you created is enchanting, but most of all I loved the secret compartment honoring Mr. Biggles. In animal medicine, alligator symbolizes integration and bat, rebirth. If your wish is for Mr. Biggles to come back in another body and he wants the same, that broom ought to seal the deal😊 Keep on shining, Christine, and thanks for sharing your magical art 💜
By far, one of the most epic brooms I've ever seen, which I never thought I'd say, but if any broom could fly or sweep away evil spirits, it would be this one!
I always start out these videos thinking "Oh, I could totally to that." And then by the end I'm like, "Nope, never mind. I cannot. I shall simply watch in awe." My millennial audacity only goes so far. Lol! This is a beautiful broom!
She's beauty and she's grace, she's the creepiest witch on internet space... Jokes aside, absolutely amazing work on that broom. It's original and beautiful.
I am so impressed with your creativity. You hand sew, machine sew, paint , sketch, create tablescapes, are exceptional at photography, work expertly at woodwork, create magnificent lamp shades and you are an absolutely beautiful lady. I am so happy you have this house. It seems to really suit you and I know you will preserve this beautiful lady. I only just ran across you and I am so glad that I did. Your videos make me so happy. I wish the best to you and your husband. Can I assume that HE is Captive??? However, I don’t know what a captive is! I only know that I have my husband captivated!
Christine!!! I had my baby on Christmas Day 2021 and I was watching your videos late the night I went into labor! When you start posting your fall videos, it makes me so sentimental for that time in my life. I love that. Thanks for being a part of my universe. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Watching one of your videos is like having this really satisfying meal of your most favorite food cooked in the most delicious way in a perfect environment with your best friends. You are so generous to share your creativity and process with us. There's a lot I admire with you and your work but I wanted to call out one that I was aware of almost immediately - your attention to workplace safety. As the video progressed, I was even more impressed. Good for you to model and discuss workplace safety. It's really important especially (I feel) for any influencers to be open about potential hazards and the steps, tools, and technique for deal with them.
i really wish you were more than 90% of america's art programs. art class would have been phenomenal with your hands on experience with art and creating stories...you inspire me so much to want to play and create. thank you for you.
Truly amazing. It came out beautifully and the letter to Mr. Bigles is just so touching. Plus tips on safety when using tools. You just cover it all. Happy Halloween 🎃
Beautiful craftsmanship as usual. The tribute to Mr. Biggles was so touching. I strongly felt the presence of my beautiful Scorch, who I lost in 2007, while I was watching this. I am always so excited to see a new video from you. Thank you...
I like how she teaches us how to make these incredibly intricate things as if we could come anywhere close to how she makes them 😂 love to watch it though !
This turned out absolutely spectacular Christine! When you said you were going to incorporate the "Swamp Kitty", I wasn’t sure what to expect, however; the finished product is truly beautiful (the added sentiment for Mr. Biggles is a precious touch). Thank you for sharing your amazing talents, God Bless! 🤗💜🙏🏻
I really appreciate the safety warnings. I never thought about the foot pedal, but it is a great idea. I know what I'm going to get my hubs for Christmas now.
Just blown away by that man kissing the swamp kitty. I know alligators are more docile but as an Australian, that freaks me out. A crocodile would be snippy snapping pretty quick.
Ah, Lady Christine McDonald, I have ventured 'cross the digital realms and stumbled upon thy mesmerizing episode, 'Carving the Witch's Broom.' By mine honor, I was ensnared within thy incantations from the very first moments. In truth, I beheld the entire tapestry of thine video, and was spellbound by each stitch. Thou art verily a sorceress of many a craft, casting spells of both bewitchment and knowledge. As one who relishes the magic that dwells in storytelling, music, and the culinary arts, I tip mine hat to thee. Thou hast earned thyself a devoted follower keen on thy future conjurings.❤🎉✨🎃👍😻🤩💯
Your imagination, creativity, artistic ability, story telling, and videography is why I love watching. I am so glad I found your videos some year's back. Thank you for sharing and making our days brighter.
Here is a wood finishing tip. If you put the clear (blond) shellac on first, let it dry a couple of hours then use the oil based polyurethane, it'll bring out the grain far more than polyurethane along. Depending on the wood, the shellac may raise the grain a little and need a bit of sanding
I'm almost speechless...that little hidden wish and blessing for your fur baby got me.❤ Everything you touch is gold Christine. Thank you for sharing. 🙏🐈⬛🕷🦇❤
As a Louisiana woodworker hobbyist, I love this! AND I'm really glad that you were being careful with that Black walnut dust. It can be pretty dangerous.
@@therealJamieJoy from what I've read, yeah most others. Hardwood in general isn't good to breath in, but it is mostly dangerous to animals unless you are blatantly unsafe with it. However, I just mentioned it bc the dust can release a toxin called jugalone. It can be used as natural herbicide. She protected herself very well with the mask she wore. It can cause skin irritation or if you breath it in, it can make you sick. I was just saying she did well, but I hope you make sure you clean it all up really well. I would hate to hear one of her cats got sick bc of an allergen or something.
It's amazing what you create with a piece of wood! Especially love the bat on the handle and the way it looks like the gator is eating the broom. Teared up with the addition of things that belonged to Biggles. Can't wait to hear all about your outfit!
So incredible!!! It brought a tear to my eyes regarding your beloved cat's toy, etc. incorporated into the broom. Your design of the alligator and bat looks magnificent!!! Happy Halloween to you. 🦉🐊🎃
Really nice job on the execution and also it shows some cool creativity. Black walnut is definitely one of my most favorite woods. I am a professional woodcarver and black walnut is my favorite choice in woodcarvings. I've never powercarved it though. I just use chisels and gouges. I can't imagine the amount of black walnut dust you must have now in your work space. My body just really doesn't like that dust at all. In the past when I did woodwork other than carving with that wood, that dust residual would jack my sinuses up bad for a good while afterwards. One advantage black walnut has when carving with hand tools is the back bevel of carving tools burnishes the wood and kinda gives it a smooth polished feel without sanding at all. The wood grants some of the best crisp fine details of any wood in my opinion. I planted some black walnut trees on my property just so I can judiciously prune those trees seasonally to get wood for carving. Anyway, it has been really cool to see this project.
This is such an incredible work of art, Christine! And I adore the personal touches. I teared up when you talked about your sweet familiar kitty, and placed all those pieces in the broom. Just beautiful all the way around!
When I see that you've posted a new video, I get that same excited feeling of anticipation I'd get as a kid when the TV announced an upcoming Saturday Night Special Presentation of some Disney movie! You never fail to excite!!
Beautiful work! The swamp witch vibes are immaculate, and incorporating your kitty's memory was a beautiful touch. Thank you for the tip about the dremel pedal. Ill be ordering one once the post-Christmas shipping crazy calms down. Woodcarving is a hobby I want to pick up, and having an extra safety would absolutely help.
I caught this episode after 1 hour of it being posted and I thought: sweet! I might be the first one to comment. But there are already 113 comments. That just goes to show how amazing your work is Christine! Beyond excited to watch this new video!
Everything you make is amazing, but this has to be my absolute favorite! The detail, the hidden compartment with so much meaning... I am in awe of how your mind works

It just doesn't feel like Halloween without a Christine McConnell video. This is such a treat!
agreed i love her videos
I thought the same thing!
I am so excited when she posts a video ! Makes my day !
I Love your makes I really miss your series show too❤ You amaze me with your passion for creating , seriously thank you, it gets me back into the groove of making. Happiest Halloween 🎃
Agreed
I really wish your Netflix show had another season, it’s been a favorite of mine ever since it came out
Omg mine too!! Haha pls make a season 2!! ❤❤❤
Same!
I'm so sorry for mister Biggles but I'm also glad that you're able to preserve the memory in such a concrete way.
I never understand how you produce videos that take the creative process for so many skills and make them so effortlessly eery and gorgeous.
It's literally her life. Yes it is well done, but if you are able to dedicate that amount of time and effort into it, of course it will turn out well.
Some people work really hard to live the life they hate, whereas she lives the life she loves and becomes talented and profitable, I hope for her
Her IQ must be up there. Heck, the IQ test probably wouldn't even accurately measure someone who can just master so many hands-on skills like that. Who knows? I was just thinking about how she has so many skills as well and its just dumbfounding.
She has a production team
Oh, I cried at the Mr. Biggles' blessing inside the broom. Surely this will be an incredibly powerful talisman, Ms. McConnell. Thanks for sharing this!!! Wonderful to watch the artistic process, and to see the crafting of the wood.
I cried too, especially since I lost a dear feline familiar last year. The hair, letter and blood was so profound and moving.
Sobbing over this
When we lose a cat we lose a part of ourselves. They are healing and loving creatures. I am so sorry for your loss.@@galelascala105
It got to me too.🥺
We just lost our girl last month. This part had me very emotional.
Black walnut will turn “ blonde” over time and especially when exposed to sun light for longer periods. Tip from a cabinet maker!
Can we all appreicate that gator kiss for a moment? Like he swam away blushing! lol
The man kissing the alligator impressed the heck out of me. The broom was nice as well. Lol
Just casually kissing the swamp puppy lol
She's such a casual witch, I freakin' love it.
As a folk practitioner from Florida, the gator head is swamp witch perfection. Amazing.
This looks incredible! The number of hours this must've taken....
You have far too many skills for one person! You're truly a craftwitch!
@@kirdot2011It would definitely sell well now, as well! But not this specific one with Mr Biggles involved.😂✌️

I didn't expect to cry in a Christine video but here we are. Putting your intentions into it, makes it very powerful. It turned out beautiful.

I’m smiling because of all the likeminded people who appreciate the talented Christine too.
Simply other worldly..... there are no words to describe your vision. We , mere mortals just get to watch your mind come to life.
Stunning as always. And the hidden memoriam is beyond sweet.

It’s not Halloween 🎃 season without a Christine McConnell video drop
She's beauty and she's grace, she's the creepiest witch on internet space...
Jokes aside, absolutely amazing work on that broom. It's original and beautiful.
Seriously, you are so talented. Even in a high budget witch movie, I can't find the broom with such intricate fashion. Yours win in every aspect
And I'm crying. Losing a most precious familiar is unspeakably hard. What a beautiful way to honour your relationship.
Christine in her car, just exactly the way every Goddess - Witch should travel! Amazing as usual but then this is Christine ... need I say more!
