For your bathroom sinks and shower and kitchen sink and washing machine ... If your local code allows; seriously consider Air Admittance Valves, also called cheater valves or mechanical vents (sold at Lowes & Home Depot, etc.). My area in Oregon allows them and I switched to them 30+ years ago. I got tired of maintaining the roof around the vent pipes. The valves are cost effective and labor saving vs. a hole through the ceiling. I have only had to replace one once in thirty years, very easy (and it was not any kind of hazard). You could have that job done ASAP vs. waiting for roof hole cutting weather. The only roof vents I have now are for the toilets, and they are still a pain in the roof to maintain (vs. valves). Bonus: less heat loss through roof, less vermin entry points through failing seals, less rain invasion, less roof holes to hold fireworks, etc.
Thanks! I keep meaning to do that but my place is such a mess with all the materials and not having proper spaces for my 'stuff', I just haven't been able to get myself to do it. Ha! Then again, it couldn't be any worse then the tour from my first video tour when I bought the place. Ha!
Yeah, now that I'm seeing the gaps even with the switch covers on, I'm def wishing I would have gotten those tools. Ha! Live and learn I suppose. Cheers!
Thanks! Yeah, the winters def get me unmativated but I finally got motivated earlier than usual, probably because it's much warmer in here this year than last. It does make it easier to get out from under the puppuy snuggle covers. My current sinus cold has slowed me the last week but I did get enough done for one more vid so hopefully I'll get that one up mid week and we'll be caught up to where I'm at in real time. :)
@@thesomewhathandyman9400 I’m so happy for you and hope u feel better soon! It’s crazy to think I’ve watched this happen from the day u first posted that u got it til now. It’s exciting to see you getting it closer and closer to being finished!
Holy Crap I just realized that your name is Ryan also haha. I was looking for the Link to the Lazer level because I been needing one but I think upu forgot to put the Link below (That's how i discoverd your name). Best place to put the Link would be in the Comments by the way.
Howdy Ryan! Ha! Yeah, I totally forgot. I was thinking this was the video where I was going to talk more about that tool but it's in my next video coming up where I use it more putting up some of ceiling panels. I'll see if I can find it in my emais from them and put it here for ya though.
Yikes! That's a big link that didn't compress. OH well. It gets good reviews and I really like it too. Think it has a $30 coupon on the listing right now too. Thanks!

I definitely didn't miss this part on ours lol, but we used those Drywall Outlet box finder Magnets...made life so much faster.
