16-Year-Old Splits 44.76 On 4x400m Anchor At AAU Junior Olympics 2023?!

16-year-old Texas high schooler Jonathan Simms made it look easy in the 4x400m, splitting 44.76 on the anchor leg for Impact Track at the AAU Junior Olympics 2023.
That split came just one day after Simms won the 15-16-year-old boys 800m in 1:51.69.

@@WheeJones Nvm, rewatched and you're right. Seemed to be decelerating and trying to hold on but just looked very relaxed and maintained form so I mistook that for easing, and the announcer said 'cruising' lol.
