    This is great for leg cramps and strained muscles too. I made some magnesium tallow last year and have been using it since. Excellent!

    THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!! I also get a horrible, red, itchy, peeling rash from using natural deodorants with baking soda. I've tried many commercial ones but all have baking soda. The few that don't, also dont work as well.
    I had resigned myself to the ugly rash scar under my arms 😢 I would go to great pains to only wear the baking soda when among others and at home go without or just use a clay based one that needs frequent applications. To avoid the rash, I would immediately wash my underarms when i got home so outings were limited to 3-4 hours.
    I am going to try this with the tallow, just need to source it. Thank you again so very much!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

      If it helps, I have heard other people who have similar reactions did not get the same reactions with a non chemically treated baking soda like Bob's mill. Interesting right? I had no idea that their were different baking sodas.

    Needed to make room in our freezer, you inspired me to render down a BIG chunk of tallow. I made this with rosemary, calendula and oils were rosemary again and lavender. Shared half w my daughter she LOVES scent, at first I feared I'd smell like Italian bread, ha.. But the lavender is coming thru more now. Its working very well so far!

    I started using tallow,ghee, coconut oil, and essential oils for deoderant. Did some researchb months back and found the same things you talk about. Nice vid! Using tallow comes with the added benefit if smelling like beef, which I don't mind, but my wife doesnt like the tallow for her, but she does use an essential oil mineral deoderant we get, no more aluminum etc

    @apinchofpatience Thank you for the information. Appreciate your videos.
    You could also substitute with Arrow Root, instead of using Sodium Bicarbonate if you're sensitive to it.
    Blessings to you and yours from South Africa.
    P.S. Loved the Biltong video. Not quite how I do it (we love our meats a bit thicker when slicing them), but your recipe sounds super yummy and I will try it.

    I noticed that when you were rubbing in the coconut oil on the back of your hand, you were using 1 finger. But when you rubbed on the tallow, you were using 3 fingers. That alone makes the difference in absorption time, especially when you are also rubbing the tallow on a larger area. I'm a fan of both, but it's annoying when people can't just be honest and say they prefer tallow. Coconut oil is amazing too.

    • @apinchofpatience
      @apinchofpatience  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Interesting, I didn't realize I did that. It certainly wasn't intentional. I've done several side by side comparisons with coconut oil to tallow, and I do prefer the feel of tallow or a 50/50 mix because it is way less slippery/greasy feeling in my opinion.

    Hello POP 🤗 love the recipe ... thank you!! 💞

    • @apinchofpatience
      @apinchofpatience  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hello! Essential oils are completely optional, they do add a little strength if you select something like teatree or rosemary that have more antimicrobial properties, but they are not essential to the recipe 😉
      I have not had any staining! It absorbs really well.

      You can render your own tallow - th-cam.com/video/VsOc-g21zUU/w-d-xo.html
      Or get it online from Azure- www.azurestandard.com/shop/search/tallow?a_aid=Aqm6NKlEuR
      Or even amazon - amzn.to/3PQ0Jnj
      It's so much more economical to make your own if you can get fat from a local butcher!

    • @apinchofpatience
      @apinchofpatience  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also, it can smell, trim fat especially, but kidney fat is basically odorless and tasteless if rendered well in my experience.

    you should really use grams when measuring and promoting cosmetic formulations, especially if you use ingredients that have a maximum allowed % in a formulation (like the mag hydroxide)

    There's a new tool that they sell at Walgreens I think it's called narvan ? It's a device you put water in and stick your nose in and it sends a mist through your nose and and your sinuses and clears out your head here's the point one guy was talking about using hydrogen peroxide cut down to like 1% as an antibiotic if you want to use colonial silver and put that in this device it would not only sterilize everywhere it went but it would leave a coating of silver if you can get it into your sinus cavities you could have a very long term antibacterial situation you know the flu and cold love to get up there and give you sinus blockage and I think it incubates there a little holes that go to your sinus cavities in your nose if you can find them and load them up with colonial silver I think you're pretty much over with the flu

    Can this be melted down again? I’m worried about not adding the correct ratio of essential oils since I’m not using herbal infusions, so would I be able to melt the deodorant and then add some more and resolidify it?

    • @apinchofpatience
      @apinchofpatience  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely! Just make sure to let it get semi solid and remix it before its all the way solid so you don't have the magnesium all settled on the bottom but that would be the only thing to watch out for.

  • @R2NOTU

    Learn how to make colloidal silver it's a godsend the reason I like it because it's extremely cheap to make like one penny for a gallon it's a metal which doesn't go away so it keeps working even though the water that holds it goes away you can spray it and after it dries it leaves a coating of silver which kills over 650 known viruses and pathogens and bacteria they say they haven't found anything that it doesn't kill within 5 minutes but it doesn't harm the good stuff only the bad you can put it in a sprayer go to a dumpster that smells like hell give it a nice spray come back in 5 minutes stick your head and and it smells like rain water that's how good it is and I found it a very good deodorant the only problem I had with it was I used to just put it under my arm and I noticed it still snowed until I realize I got to go at least six inches around and under my arm because deodor is coming from a larger area there once I found that out it worked perfect I haven't tried soaking it in my sneakers yet but I bet it works very well there too two wires will last you a lifetime I use boiling water and a 30 watt 30 volt wall wart I can make a half a gallon in 10 minutes of golden colonial

      While I respect that some people prefer that option, I raise and harvest my own animals and eat primarily animal based. I will continue to eat nose to tail and bring animal products into my personal care. I will also continue to raise animals with care and harvest humanly while utilizing the harvest to the fullest. Based on your description of fear and screaming, I think it's safe to say you have not participated in a peaceful animal harvest. There should certainly be no screaming, fear, or panic, if done correctly it can be a very peaceful process. Any way, not trying to convert you, just want to clarify the point. Thanks for the comment!

Apologies if my comment was abrupt, I felt angry and should have waited for commenting. What I do think though is that unfortunately people that watch the videos will buy from any source or unknowingly buy from massacred animals. The industry is ruthless. Glad to hear you are respectful. Xx
