I always wonder if possibly both the goats and the actual panj piyare happened. Or one happened at one vaisakhi and the other at another vasakhi. But it doesn't seem mutually exclusive to me. Also I really love the symbolism of the idea of "goats" being killed and replaced with "singhs" Guru Gobind Singh taking people and elevating them to the ultimate expression of freedom and sovereignty. Beautiful symbolism. Thanks for the podcast really informative.
