This is so upsetting, this trash company really let those gross men harassing women and have the audacity to shame them after the disbandment. One of the girls is right, they have to live with the trauma and their image being tarnished while their abusers are not gonna face anything, I honestly wish them noting but the best after all they went through. We really never know what happen behind close door.
This situation replicates that of Hollywood/US music industry. Celebrities/actors are plastered all over realityTV and popular magazines as being "drug addicts/party-goers" and dying from "drug overdose/suicide" or for "having a past history of depression", so the celebrity is automatically faulted for everything. Little do fans know that these celebrities managers are the ones controlling their lifestyles and forcing them to take drugs and sleep with powerful men. For what reason? To take the blame away from themselves! When do you ever hear of controversial topics surrounding celebrity managers? Exactly, NEVER! They are the ones getting away with EVERYTHING while scapegoating the blame on the celebrity! A lot of young male actors as young as 10 were raped in the industry, that is enough proof. Macaulay Culkin even came out with his story about his manager forcing him to sleep with him or else he would be skinned alive, with his flesh imprinted on a shoe. And what happened to Culkin thereafter? He was labeled as a DRUG ADDICT by the time he reached his pre-teen years all over popular magazines. And these magazine editors blamed a PRE-TEEN for getting into drugs after being forced into intercourse? Who's at fault here??? Hollywood industry is a million times worse and far more cruel. But still, pity those girls for what they had to go through. Such disgusting behavior from men and women in power!
probably, i always will feel weird about male managers and ceo’s near their female groups cause of things like this. that’s why i dislike when people “stan” big three ceo’s cause of the potential things they could’ve did or who they may be and what we know they do yet ignore. but whatever random rant lmao.
Exactly, things like this make me feel bad for listening to kpop because the industry is so secretive and abusive. Not even just the higher powers but idols aswell, half of them are different behind the cameras. Such a fake industry all over tbh.
@@Lia-yx6pc The Ceo was really a gentleman to leave those girls alone in an airport for 8 hours, when they had never bought a plane ticket. They even had to pay for the tickets themself.
this is honestly so heartbreaking and disgusting. it doesn't only happen in these smaller companies either, it really makes you wonder how much the kpop industry really covers up. this is truly not okay and my heart goes out to all the survivors of these terrible acts in the kpop industry.
So basically the company's excuse was "he didn't work for us! he only used the facilities and was put in charge of the music video!" And also "we did defend the members, only behind their backs when they were gone and didn't see us" yeah right...
Read one of the releases from North Korea. It's the same faux-pleasantness, far-fetched story telling, & victim-blaming. It's a very specific type of face-saving release only Chinese and Korean institutions do.
exactly, those excuses sound like bullshit to me. The members would've appreciated it if the company dealed with the problems, yet they said they "defended" them behind their backs? yep that's bullshit right there
They go from blaming them and calling the members promiscuous to "defending" them and deflecting blame against them... so obvious the company was lying
The bad side of all entertainment industries around the world... I feel sorry for the girls. Ari is so well-spoken, her statements were really well written, while the companies statement just sound sloppy...
Yes, I am so impressed with her statements & paragraphs cos it is very organized and well written. That is also why she becomes the representative to tell this story. She's so brave, admitting sexual harassments and all their company's bullshits. May the time heal their wounds & traumas they've suffered.
Right? The first response to Ari’s initial statement sounded gaslighting as hell…”it could be the members didnt see, so they thought” “they didnt see, so they thought”, tf.
no matter which perspective you look at, the company's response to Ari's statement is so sloppy and still didn't change the fact that they have labeled the girls "the promiscuous" to the society. not even an apology. it sounds like a kid that trying to defend their argument without any good reasoning just because they don't want to lose and look bad.
If a group does a mass exodus, a very public example being Got7 or the lesser known first Yellow Bee line up, then YOU KNOW there are big issues with the company management and their treatment of their idols.
In Got7's case it was more because of neglect which isn't as bad as this, but yes companies need to be more aware of their idols, this is their life and career after all. It sometimes feels unfair to have to hand over all control to your company even though it is ultimately their life and their career.
@@davs.ketchup we truly don’t know what really happened to got7 behind those doors because there’s only so much they’re allowed to say. Maybe in a few more years we’ll know the true story
@@00.miu_ uhh as a fan of GOT7, pretty sure their mismanagement has nothing on what most nugu groups like these girls went through. Yes it is rather upsetting that GOT7 were not allowed to flourish in their creative interests and pursuits (Jackson's releasing way better stuff now). But they had it good in a huge ent company otherwise. These girls had to carry their *own* goods and settle logistics on the plane to their own freaking event for chrissakes. O.O
Jyp exists of different divisions/taskgroups. But the last few years it doesn't seem that superduper good company anymore. We'll never know. But could add 9muses who had 15 or so members in their active years
@@ayudn4955 as of a fan of got7 I agree and disagree, it wasn't just management but also exploitation. JYPE took a good percentage out of Jackson's Chinese money, and was told he couldn't promote his music in certain countries, specifically South Korea, the whole of GOT7 was overworked especially 2018-2019 with Korean comebacks, Japanese comebacks/tours and world tours. Let's not even go into the fact they never took legal action for ANY of the members or incident. But yes, other groups may have it worse, but let's not diminish what GOT7 went through
I used to be THE BIGGEST YellowBee stan after they changed their line-up, cuz their VLOG WERE HILARIOUS!!!! I liked them to the point I even bought a promo copy of their "DVD" album and I ever did that for like two groups! I was so sad when Ari, shared what happened in the company but I'm also happy that she spoke out about it
I'll never forget years ago alot of companies were shut down for prostitution it broke my heart how they made some girl groups prostitute themselves for them to be able to afford a show the worst story I read was a company forcing a boy kpop group to have s*x with the girl group keep in mind they were underage! it's some sick stuff that goes on behind the scenes of kpop, hyuna "babe" video always gives me chills because of the truth she is revealing before our eyes I just wonder who else in these companies even big companies who are still dealing with this but is ashamed to speak remember that woman that wrote down the list of names she had to have s*x with before she s worded herself you never know what anybody is going through, just imagine having all these secrets but no one you can really trust to open up to + some are groom into thinking what is happening is normal sigh just sad to think about it.
Those stories are so sad I hate how they make girls or Boys sexual individuals and force them to have sex just for having show make me so angry honestly I love kpop since I was introduced to it In 2003 but still hate how they're managed. 😭😭😭
What men with power will do to women is disgusting and disgraceful. It is not just in the K-Pop industry. It is worldwide. Modeling agencies, sports cheerleaders, etc. are used by their companies to "entertain" men with money. NFL cheerleaders (I think it was the Washington Redskins cheerleaders - the name has since changed) came out a few years ago and told of having to go to events with "big spenders at the stadiums" and being encouraged to drink and talk with these men. Again, the women were not paid and treated like prostitutes. I am happy that the ladies rom Yellow Bee stuck up for themselves. I hope the company is out of business and have been shamed out of the industry.
Hearing about Yellow bees story reminded me of the boy group east light, I wonder how many idols have been or are going though abuse. It’s scary to be honest I hope the girls are doing well .
I used to vaguely follow them bc they were a few years older than me and they were a band,, until like one day I saw the leaders username on it no longer had the groups name and I was confused so I googled what happened and was heartbroken /:
In every type of industry and work. It really frustrating and horrible how same people take advantage of their power and work to hurt and do horrible things. Like the woman who was married to a policeman and suffer domestic violence. Doctors that suffer from hero syndrome i think that how it call. They you put the patient sick almost to the verge of dead so they could save them and receive credits. They made victims. Not all the doctors are good. That why the police officer that came to our school said "never trust someone just bc they are well dress or using a uniform. Just bc soemone his dress as a policeman doesn't mean is good person. " he was so right and now as adult i understand why. I was a child then and when he said i just thought why would a policeman said to have careful even truting in another policeman. And i was so confuse bc i was like if i need to be careful even with the police then who i can trust if i need help when i don't have my parents?
I wish there could be more regulations and stringent laws before just any group of people with money could open an “entertainment agency” an lure impressionable young people to them. Obviously there was criminal behavior and mistreatment happening and those involved should be held fully accountable. Their words and actions will effect these young women for the rest of their lives and that is inexcusable.
Yes! It's so clear that even 18+ (20+ korean age) people are put in an incredibly vulnerable position in the current structure of how agencies function. There really does need to be legislation, and even MORE strict laws and protections for minors.
Small companies with big ambitions and no experience = big problems for artists. This is a very rare situation with newbi ents when everything is well and artists becomes successful and popular. It is rather a combination of competent management, talent and BIG luck. Unfortunately, there have been a lot of sad stories with such boys and girls groups like this one. Showbiz is a very cruel world. Win or die trying(((
@@natalidemetrashvilii7071 BigHit is far from the only small company to be largely successful off of one group. Groups like Gfriend, Mamamoo, Dreamcatcher, and many others have been singlehandedly supporting their companies financially since debut.

Yes. The entertainment industry might be worse, but really most big companies are shady and don't care about rights or humanity at all. No matter the industry.
This is so sad. I met them in Japan and went to a few of their concerts and fansigns. They were so sweet to me. I had no idea they were alone, and what was going on behind the scenes.
members: "the company mistreated us and harassed us so we left." company: "no actually you're the one made problems and we had taken care of the problems." members: "THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU PROTECT US AND TREAT US BETTER????"
Yeah I remember the announcement the company made about there being "a promiscuous member" I was in disbelief! That's uncalled for for real I'm sad they had to deal with their agency and managers etc doing that stuff to them!!
This is really heartbreaking and I hope those girls are in a better place. South Korea needs to pass laws to protect artists especially young vulnerable ones. They need to be reprimanded and to jail for the trauma, abuse, mismanagement and exploitation these ladies and many other idols go through.
They deserved so much better. Companies have a responsibility to take care of their trainees and idols, and they should be sued for damages. I hope Yellow Bee gets the justice they deserve. Can you do an episode on Mr.Mr. and how their song allegedly dissing Girls Generation affected their careers? Mr.Mr was one of my favorite groups when I got into k-pop, but the controversy surrounding SNSD's song (Mr. Mr.) caused some drama and I still don't know all the tea.
No matter how hard you wanna be an idol, never sign with a small company that did not have at leat one or two stable (as in mild success) group in the last decade.
Thank you for making this video so people will know what Yellow Bee went through. I ran a Yellow Bee fan page back in the day and some extra happenings I can add in here: -There was an incident back in 2018 where Boyeon said, on Instagram, that a man had been watching her while she was in her room one night. It was shortly before Yellow Bee gen. 1 fell apart. -As an OG Honeyjar from 2017, I can sadly say we were pretty prepared for something bad coming with that audition, just... not with every last member gone. If I remember correctly, Berry was confirmed to have left before the audition opened. From there, Yellow Bee won an award in late 2018 or early 2019 but only Rozy and Seona appeared at the event to accept it. Meanwhile, the audition page listed Seona, Berry and Somee as the current members which.. wouldn't make since as Rozy was still appearing on their social media but, from late 2018 on, only Rozy and Seona appeared, all the way up to Valentine's day 2019. The members have been extremely private since leaving Yellow Bee and their departures were never explained. Honestly, I feel the "stalker" issue is a small taste into what drove them out of Addiction Entertainment.
wth!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope the girls are safe and doing okay. The poor girls who tried to remain in the group must have thought that they would see some sort of success if they just endured the disgusting things that were happening... The really all deserve happiness :(
There's a massive contradiction in the companies 2nd statement. First they say "They [agency director & female manager] did not see the sexual harrassment take place", but then they go on to immediately say that when the members tried to stop Yoon from assaulting the girl, "people including the agency director and manager cursed him out and there was a fight". It sounds like (in terms of timeline) the staff were absolutely there when the harrassment took place but only (apparently) acted on it after the girls had gone home. I think that it is interesting how the agency does not tackle the sexual assault & accountability allegations first in their explanation but rather last, treating it as more of an afterthought (when it should have been the first thing on the agenda). Instead, the agency seems concerned by the fact that they had a poor manager and that Yoon produced a poor MV and was difficult to work with. Rather than being horrified (as they should have been) at how Yoon treated the girls, the assault appears to have been treated as more "the straw that broke the camels back". If this fight did break out afterwards, I wonder how much of the discontent was focused on Yoon producing poor products than his predatory behaviour? Because if the agencies statement is anything to go by, I would bet the former (not the latter). Nothing feels sincere or genuinely apologetic about the companys statement. Instead, the company just wants to remove sense of accountability over what happened ("We employed Yoon for a job but he wasn't really one of our employees", "we didn't see the harrassment happen on our watch (but if it did happen we promise we did something about it later on)" etc). 60% of the statement reads as a rant about their own employees (bad managers, difficult film producers, etc) rather than an apology over how they failed their members. Who the heck is running this ship? I feel bad for the girls as it is clear that they were just treated as replaceable commodities on the bottom end of the chain. But they are human beings with dreams, hearts, talent and earnest potential. I know that these companies aren't run as charities (if something doesn't sell they can't keep on investing into it forever because at the end of the day, bills have to be paid). But one can't help feel that there is a distinct lack of human rights and common decency in how many young talents at agencies are treated, and I really question how much some of these companies are even genuinely interested in their stars ever making it big (for real). It seems like there are a lot of companies which are content to cream off/make profit of a steady supply of hopeful teenagers, who they lure with the promise of possibly becoming a star, when all the company is really interested in is the initial gains aquired through the members own financial investments and floating the group on minimal investment (and if nothing further materializes, NP, because such young employees have virtually no legal rights or legal awareness and are easy to dispose of). I hope that social media puts pressure on for changes to be made in the industry. Even if these are isolated cases, they are appaling cases and it is not right that this sort of corporate behaviour (which is likely not isolated) is going unpunished both legally and socially.
I think it's incredibly telling and insidious that the company went "we talked to every member but this mysterious odd one out together" bc if the girls weren't as close as it seems like they got, each could have very well felt like the other 4 were ganging up on them... I'm glad they stuck together through this
I really hate how youtubers can’t even use the phrase “sexual harassment” in their videos. These are real topics that need to be discussed. A trigger warning in the beginning is more than enough.
Success in the entertainment industry, especially as a kpop idol, isn't just about talent and visuals, it's also heavily reliant on luck. These poor girls. My heart goes out to them and every other trainee and group that got mistreated by their own companies.
Thats why when an artist who married and had baby, they dont want tneir baby to grow up and dream of being an artist. Because entertainment industry too cruel /harsh/wild world for them...
As someone who was a fan of yellow bee since their first debut with the original member lineup, this is shocking and just breaks my heart. I made a fanpage for them back in 2018 and even interacted and talked to the (first) members over DMs. As one of the only fanpages (if not the only, I'm not sure) I even interacted with A.D Entertainment and I believe their manager? I took a break from K-Pop and social media in general and when I came back, the whole group changed. There were new members and a new song, I couldn't even find a trace of the old members, it was like they were never even there? It was a really strange feeling but I decided to keep my fanpage going, archived all the posts that included the first lineup members and started posting content of the new members. The disbandment announcement didn't really surprise me to be very honest. I don't know why, maybe I was subconsciously suspicious of something being wrong since the first members left the company all of a sudden. I feel so bad for them and I hope the girls are okay now. No one deserves being treated that horrible, especially when they were working so hard towards their dreams.
writing a list of agencies for aspiring idols to avoid, along with reasons, so thank you for posting videos like this. I hope no one else will ever have to deal with situations like this. :(
I think we should cast a wary eye for all agencies, including P Nation. Right now, they're doing well, but I'm sure there will be a case where something goes wrong, especially since they haven't debuted any groups of their own yet. They have only signed artists that already had a career before joining the label.
when I saw the thumbnail, I got visibly disgusted but knew that this sort of thing does happen to kpop idols and it should be addressed regularly and put on high alert at a time like this.
One of the reason why it irks me that some big3 fans downplay the struggles of small company idols. I've seen many saying that it's harder to debut in big companies like sis, I understand the idols went through trainings and whatnot (everyone did regardless of companies) plus they have their own struggles but you can't deny that compared to these small company idols they really are privileged. No need to victimize your idol wth.
They are privileged because the idols in the past that paved the way for there own company eg:- H.O.T & S E.S for sm entertainment, wonder girls & rain for jyp, big bang & 2ne1 for yg...these small company didn't even have one group that are main stream group and caught the eye of general public....and once there was a time there big3 was also small company...because of there sucess and rate more people want to join big3 audition than smaller companies because of stability...which results in more competition to debut like it's hard to get addmission in Oxford University than a normal University 😴
Thank you for reporting this. I have been a huge fan of yellowbee since the original lineup. It broke me that yellowbee had to go through this abuse behind the scenes. I am that the girls are free from this company and are still close together.
Yeah, it's very hard to believe the company's statements about the issue considering that 2 groups of girls suddenly quit in their first year with the company. Then the excuses they made for the harassment accusations. Totally unbelievable. I'm sure other groups have been in situations like this too. Sudden disbandments happen often in kpop. Most of them probably have a bad reason.
Their agency respond is just unbelievable, totally nonsense. The group was the victim yet if they fixing the mess without letting the group know?? Totally unacceptable
It's weird that every act of the company to protect the members always happen when the members were not there, as if it actually never happen and the company just made things up to protect their own image and on the other hand still indirectly blaming the members
Among all the other companies that had negative allegations, this company released the most stupid explanations and insincere apology article ever. Imagine being unprofessional and dumb but tried to open a company but ends up hurting other people and tried to cover up negative behaviour. This is so embarrassing and heartbreaking.
I remember when I saw the news, I was mad & irritated, it makes me sad how these poor girls suffered all this bs, and that company with those statements are trash! These are some companies that makes excuses just to look themselves better and then blame the members 😔😔
I remember this and thought, who cares what people are doing in their private life. What a ridiculous way to disband a group. Then when I heard what happened after that statement was released... wow.
Why are companies throwing their own artist under the bus last into this year? I heard like almost a handful of groups get thrown under the bus because of false rumors from their agency. Just keep that ish to urself. That is literally blackballing these girls.
The company keeps on saying in their letter that they took care of the problems behind the members so they didn't have an idea that they were making an action. LMAO
I hate how the company blamed the girls after their disbandment then when one of the members let everything out. The agency then tries to write an excuse for themselves not denying any of the situation that occurred but instead try to pretend their protecting the girls behind the scene and not letting them know😑. This same company calls them promiscuous right after disbandment, seriously. Who the F would believe the agency they basically told us everything that happened is true and just making up the protection part.
"However, we did not tell the members when we took care of the issue" Why tf wouldn't you tell them? I could tell that this company is just bullsh!tting their way out of the situation, truly disgusting
It's so unfortunate that this happens a lot in talent industries around the world... This story reminds me a lot of a boy group that also disclosed how one of the managers would treat them inappropriately (she was also accused of sexually harassing them if I remember correctly). These trainees join companies expecting them to protect them and they get exploited instead. Sad part is they also can ruin their career if the members decide to speak out, just like in this case, the company calls one the girls "promiscuous". It's sick.
the fact that the companys statement starts with "thank you for taking interest in us" is so shady, plus the amount of focus on the mv's low quality???
It sucks to hear about Yellow Bee's story, as horrible companies destroys not just K-pop careers, but the idols mental state themselves far after their K-pop careers are over. I'm hoping nothing but the best for the ladies. As for the K-shady pop companies, they need to get punished to the full extent for their horrible deeds to clean up K-pop businesses.
I feel like this kind of behavior is probably an open secret, meaning that everyone knows things like this happen but that many choose to ignore it for the sake of their dream.I’m not saying that it is,I’m just saying that I would not be surprised at all if it is true.
something similar but worse happened to jang jayeon. she was a side character in the drama boys over flowers and she went through so much she committed suicide because she couldn't handle it. she had written a letter talking about what she went through and how the company she was under forced her to sleep with other ceos and big figures if she wanted to act and take roles (I believe she mentioned the names of over 30 ceos) but someone attempted to burn that letter (I don't remember who) which is a crime because it can be considered arson (getting rid of evidence) and because the people she was forced to entertain were all powerful and had a lot of money her case was closed after the investigation, I don't remember what the ceos' punishments were (if they were even punished) and it was only brought up again after another actress talked about it. at the time she witnessed jang jayeon being forced to entertain old men, but didn't speak up because she was threatened that if she said anything about it or testified as a witness of what jang jayeon went through, she wouldn't be able to act in any dramas.
Saw the TV series hello my twenties 2 recently, they had a character and story arc about a disbanded idol grp (about how one of the members had to cope). It was sad to watch. That's why you need an artists union and a min standards contracts imposed on the companies (like they have done for eg footballers in pro teams in Europe)
Honestly the child abuse, human rights abuse and terrible work conditions that happen in Koop really drive me away from supporting the industry. Those kids would be better off doing some regular job,
This is companies fault... not the young ones... they try to use them for other things & if they refuse they get rid of them !!! Shame on you for using & abusing these kid for $$$ or pleasure !!!
Actually, I remember that about 2 years ago their agency opened an online audition to find a new member for YellowBee on a website made mostly for foreigners hopeful to become idols
This is disgusting. What the poor girls had to endure this only makes me think maybe the same thing could have been happening to the first line up. It makes me sick thaT some of these companies actually do stuff like this. That company need to be shut down and they need to be investigated this ridiculous nobody should be doing this to anyone. I didn’t even know about all of this just the fact that they disbanded.
The company's statement sounds like a story made as an excuse. I mean, it doesn't make any sense that a company would not tell their artists important things in their career. Like how can you not tell them who are the people working for them? How did they introduce the MV producer? 'He will be editing your MV' and that's it? Nothing like 'he is mr. yoon from whatever production team, in charge of your MV'? And aren't MVs usually produced by a team outside the agencies? Also, that excuse that they didn't tell the members about the fight and reprimanding the manager because "it is an unpleasant event" doesn't make any sense. Shouldn't they give the members security and assurance that they won't let anything like that happen again? That they are doing something to protect them? It just doesn't make sense at all
It has been proven that the companies abroad have absolutely no morals and see upcoming young ladies and young men as targets and “comfort items“. I believe her accounts completely. Why would she say something like that when she’s trying hard to get to the top? I believe what she said and don’t put it past Addiction’s business practices.
This kind of exploitation of young attractive performers by their labels, management teams, producers, etc. is sadly quite common throughout the K-pop and other similar industries. In fact, it had been an issue among the entertainment industry for decades worldwide, whether it be music or acting. People who seek after game and riches will inevitably be taken advantage of those with the presumed power and influence to get them what they want. It’s disgusting and reprehensible no matter what country or industry it occurs in. This is why so much of the American music industry has gone independent. I hope K-pop and other Asian industries have the opportunity and capability to do the same.
Didn't you see the whole SOPA scandal? Where the student are abused and sexually harassed but nothing is done about it. The school still thrived, the people who got "entertained" by the student are still free, etc. Money talks and abuses will get swept under the rug with the victim and whistle-blower getting the blame.
I had no idea about the first line up, I feel so sorry how they were just replaced liked that. I loved the song DVD even did a vocal cover of it. So sad they disbanded.
what you aren't being told because they assume you understand korean culture is that this is par for the coarse in Korea. it is a dirty secret that no one speaks of. sort of like jeff epstien. not saying it is right just helping you to understand the culture. have to say i admire this girl for not backing down, you can't even understand how many tried to stop her from saying anything. probably even her own parents.
These remarks were disgusting, maybe these former staff were punished after the members left, but don’t you think someone would at least tell them? As well as the fact that the members were not paid and were further driven into debt with having to pay for themselves on multiple occasions, when the company should have been providing for them (I could understand if. It was for a personal thing but it wasn’t it was for an event)
It's so heart breaking to see this dark side of kpop bcz our idols only show the positive side and cover the dark side and always smile and hide their pain
It was just a "public secret", almost any agency's staff demand sexual service. I have a friend who eperienced with this kind of stuff when she got call up for a job. The manager want her 'service' if she want to be accepted to the company, and on the paper introduction there was a question about virginity which is absurd for job recruitment. She almost sell her body to that bastard manager as they went to a hotel alredy, fortunately she got scared after that man forcefully undress her and ran away.
I came back after watching their MVs. They have so much potential. I even love the names yellow bee and honey jar. It is sad knowing what happened to them. People who have done this to them are the worst. They ruin other people's dreams because of their selfishness.
In my country there is a phrase saying that apology greater than fault (it is something like that, i don't know i couldn't translate it) it means you did something wrong and you messed up your apology. Thier statements are like "just blame her to save our arse"
I hope karma gets back at the company. What's so great about grown men making excuses about their lack of everything? Nobody cares about what they have to say. I hope the girls have kept trying to expose them.
Ok so I actually did the audition to join yellow bee but I had no idea this was all going on, it was pitched as if they were just going to add a foreign member to the pre existing group, I’m actually so shocked that I’m just finding this out
The way to fix this is with protests and lawsuits. Governments fear protests, and companies fear lawsuits. Idols have huge fan bases and live in a democracy-they gotta use that. Instead of explaining what happened on social media and apologizing start announcing protests in front of agencies. Network with other idols, start a go fund me, and save up for a good lawyer or two and start launching lawsuits. Seriously, someone has to make all these girls realize that they aren’t powerless.
I really like your work since it gives break from my imagination that k-pop is ever shinning happy bubbly industry to what the real shit happens in real world Thanks for educating me 👍👏

that was Open World ent. btw

True, but korea should focus on the emasculated population. It will cause a one sided slaughter
I was not ready when they replaced the whole group.

Thank you for making this video so people will know what Yellow Bee went through. I ran a Yellow Bee fan page back in the day and some extra happenings I can add in here:
-There was an incident back in 2018 where Boyeon said, on Instagram, that a man had been watching her while she was in her room one night.
Honestly, I feel the "stalker" issue is a small taste into what drove them out of Addiction Entertainment.
woow.. its so messed up
wth!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is just so disgusting to even hear and the girls faced it!! They didn't deserve to be treated like this!!
I think it's incredibly telling and insidious that the company went "we talked to every member but this mysterious odd one out together" bc if the girls weren't as close as it seems like they got, each could have very well felt like the other 4 were ganging up on them... I'm glad they stuck together through this

Phenomenal on the member who spoke out.
I’m proud of her for speaking up!

That is literally blackballing these girls.
poor girls. its scary to have far older men basically conrol every single aspect of your lives as is the case fr alot of these idols.
The company keeps on saying in their letter that they took care of the problems behind the members so they didn't have an idea that they were making an action. LMAO
thank you for sheading some light on this situation
I hate how the company blamed the girls after their disbandment then when one of the members let everything out. The agency then tries to write an excuse for themselves not denying any of the situation that occurred but instead try to pretend their protecting the girls behind the scene and not letting them know😑. This same company calls them promiscuous right after disbandment, seriously. Who the F would believe the agency they basically told us everything that happened is true and just making up the protection part.
"However, we did not tell the members when we took care of the issue"
Why tf wouldn't you tell them? I could tell that this company is just bullsh!tting their way out of the situation, truly disgusting
I was in love with their song 'dvd' but I had no clue their history or story thank you for this video !
"Nah we actually resolve the situation, they just didn't know about it" literally the companys statement
something similar but worse happened to jang jayeon. she was a side character in the drama boys over flowers and she went through so much she committed suicide because she couldn't handle it. she had written a letter talking about what she went through and how the company she was under forced her to sleep with other ceos and big figures if she wanted to act and take roles (I believe she mentioned the names of over 30 ceos) but someone attempted to burn that letter (I don't remember who) which is a crime because it can be considered arson (getting rid of evidence)
and because the people she was forced to entertain were all powerful and had a lot of money her case was closed after the investigation, I don't remember what the ceos' punishments were (if they were even punished) and it was only brought up again after another actress talked about it. at the time she witnessed jang jayeon being forced to entertain old men, but didn't speak up because she was threatened that if she said anything about it or testified as a witness of what jang jayeon went through, she wouldn't be able to act in any dramas.
Saw the TV series hello my twenties 2 recently, they had a character and story arc about a disbanded idol grp (about how one of the members had to cope). It was sad to watch.
That's why you need an artists union and a min standards contracts imposed on the companies (like they have done for eg footballers in pro teams in Europe)
the way the company is name dropping and only saying stuff like "we didnt tell them but.." is sooo unprofessional. like they need to get sued???
Honestly the child abuse, human rights abuse and terrible work conditions that happen in Koop really drive me away from supporting the industry. Those kids would be better off doing some regular job,
Some good news, at least! Former (2nd gen) Yellow Bee members Ari and Annie will re-debut as a duo called MANITO under Shin Entertainment!
I can't believe she released a video 😭😭😭I'm disgusted by the story, but I'm so happy she released a vid
If you don't have the ability, don't start a company and ruin lives. My lord, the sheer irresponsibility and incompetence. Shut down this company.
I'm not surprised honestly because entertainment industry has always been shady.
My hairs just continue to raise. Even the narrator's sweet voice cannot mask the horror these girls went through
I came back after watching their MVs. They have so much potential. I even love the names yellow bee and honey jar. It is sad knowing what happened to them. People who have done this to them are the worst. They ruin other people's dreams because of their selfishness.
I feel so bad for these girls. They did not deserve this kind of sh!tty treatment. I wonder what happened to the first line-up.
I really like your work since it gives break from my imagination that k-pop is ever shinning happy bubbly industry to what the real shit happens in real world
Thanks for educating me 👍👏
