The PENTAX Green Button and Optical Preview is THE best combo you can have for manual lenses

- In this video, we take a look at one of Pentax's exclusive features. The green button. BUT, the green button alone as good as well as it works, becomes more powerful coupled with Optical Preview (set in your Pentax menu).
I used to only use digital preview until I decided to try optical just to try it. I haven't looked back since. The green button and optical preview are a match made in heaven!

I believe you have to program the green button to read exposure and allow Apature ring in the camera settings which a newbie may not know. By the way I have the same Pentax 55mm M 1.8 lens a great lens
The default for the green button is set for exposure. The aperture ring option does have to be set in the camera (I mention that part later in the video, should have mentioned it at the start though).

Or just aperture priority, to get the DoF you want, and use ISO to control shutter speed. Vary simple.
