I had a similar experience, regardless of being 15 years younger than you. When I was 3 or 4, I received a Jessie doll for either my birthday, or Christmas. I don't remember which. What I do remember though, is that I took this thing with me nearly everywhere. Even when my mom dropped me off at preschool, I felt safe knowing that good ol' Jessie was by my side.
I had those excact toys when I was a kid, gahh the memories! I loved them to pieces and never stopped playing with them, I was a little disappointed that they were a little inaccurate but I didn't care. So many memories!!

But he never did, and by the time I was 11, I realized that I should have asked my mom after all. I'm not going to lie, that woody is charming. And the fact the design isn't accurate makes it YOUR toy. Not andy's. And the inaccuracy still looks nice.

For my first Christmas all I wanted was a Woody doll. Christmas came around and he was the first thing I opened and was the only thing I opened for the rest of Christmas day. For years I'd take him everywhere, we've got a family photo which in the corner you can see him because I wouldn't let him go. 16 years later and I've still got him, sure the things on his boots have broken off and his pull string is tied up because that broke to and he looks battered has hell, but I still love him and he sits on display for everyone who comes to visit to see. Much to my parents dislike.
My mother thinks I’m to old for Woody now but I’m never getting rid of him. My sister gave him to me when we were 15 years old in 2017 and I’m nearly 20 now. I still have him 5 years later

POP his head was off I was very sad so I asked my mom when we could fix him but she didn’t have super glue so around a week later I went to my friends house and I saw a gorilla glue bottle and all I could think about was woody so I ran to my house picked him and his head up and ran back to my friends house and we both glued him up together he’s on my bed right now with my other plushes 🤠

The original 1995 woody doll doesn't have spurs on the boots. However on the prototype of the doll he had spurs on the boots so something must have happened in the production of the doll to have them remove the spurs from the final released version's boots. So yes they were made with no spurs.
I still have my original woody and buzz but at the time the Green version were sold I was given the grey and purple version of him.. I played with the two a lot as a kid.. I still have them.

I used to have a Disney Store Buzz from when Toy Story 3 came out. Now back then I was a toddler so who knows how I played with it. I played with him so much that by a few years he looked like this guys old Woody. But after many years of play with him, my mom accidentally threw him out thinking I didn’t want him anymore during a move to a new house. Buzz was the coolest toy in the world, and she just through it away😔😔 Now in 2019 I walked into a Disney store and saw the Toy Story 4 Set up they have. I saw the buzz and kinda had nostalgia times 100 and remembered my old Buzz from long ago. So now I own the new line of Disney Store Buzz Lightyears coming out. Sure it’s more film accurate and everything, but I’ll still always remember my old Buzz😔 Well there’s my story

For years I'd take him everywhere, we've got a family photo which in the corner you can see him because I wouldn't let him go. 16 years later and I've still got him, sure the things on his boots have broken off and his pull string is tied up because that broke to and he looks battered has hell, but I still love him and he sits on display for everyone who comes to visit to see. Much to my parents dislike.
My mother thinks I’m to old for Woody now but I’m never getting rid of him. My sister gave him to me when we were 15 years old in 2017 and I’m nearly 20 now. I still have him 5 years later

I have 2 woodys that I love so much but recently I was playing with my collection woody when... POP his head was off I was very sad so I asked my mom when we could fix him but she didn’t have super glue so around a week later I went to my friends house and I saw a gorilla glue bottle and all I could think about was woody so I ran to my house picked him and his head up and ran back to my friends house and we both glued him up together he’s on my bed right now with my other plushes 🤠

@@maqcinvega8116 yeah he apparently does, so what? I play with a cloud pattern utility belt Buzz Lightyear, by the way the cloud pattern toys are more or less the same as the normal ones except they are paler and in Buzzes case his wings are straighter.

The original 1995 woody doll doesn't have spurs on the boots. However on the prototype of the doll he had spurs on the boots so something must have happened in the production of the doll to have them remove the spurs from the final released version's boots. So yes they were made with no spurs.
The original poseable woody doll did have spurs, they removed it because of the health and safety law

I still have my original woody and buzz but at the time the Green version were sold I was given the grey and purple version of him.. I played with the two a lot as a kid.. I still have them.

I remember when my dad got me a shreiff woody doll for Christmas and me being a huge toy story fan he instantly became my favorite childhood toy and i took him everywhere i went even school and on vacation

my first buzz was the flight control one that lit up red on the chest bit under the helmet I loved it so much but unfortunately it was thrown away by my mums ex who did not like me at all and have been looking for another one ever since even though I'm now 20 years old because it's just one of them things that I'd keep for ever and was one of my most favourite toy and movie when I was younger and I will one day own one again also great video as always
I used to have a Disney Store Buzz from when Toy Story 3 came out. Now back then I was a toddler so who knows how I played with it. I played with him so much that by a few years he looked like this guys old Woody.
But after many years of play with him, my mom accidentally threw him out thinking I didn’t want him anymore during a move to a new house. Buzz was the coolest toy in the world, and she just through it away😔😔
Now in 2019 I walked into a Disney store and saw the Toy Story 4 Set up they have. I saw the buzz and kinda had nostalgia times 100 and remembered my old Buzz from long ago.
So now I own the new line of Disney Store Buzz Lightyears coming out. Sure it’s more film accurate and everything, but I’ll still always remember my old Buzz😔
