Cameron right? I was a stay at home mom. My husband would come through the door, covered in dirt and dust, dragging his feet and lunch bag, and I’d say “hey hun, sooooooo how was your dayyyy?” And I swear, he’d just lift his head, look me in the eyes and really quietly say “great” lol. Poor thing.

Just subscribed. Working mom here. 40 hours a week at the office and i have to agree with Bill Burr. What I will say is that it is a tedious job. Like being pecked by a fuck load of chickens and you cant do anything about it. Oh and you have to say shit like "please dont pee in the air vent again"

I quit listening about a year ago. Has it gotten better? It seemed to go downhill when he got busy with his show and family. More power to him but the podcast kinda sucked for a while

Pit Bulls are beautiful. They just take a lot of work to train, and keep up with.
Pits are amazing dogs. Since my kids were born, we've always had a pitbull. (12 years now) Pits love physical contact.. kids climbing on them is bliss for a Pitty.
They are fantastic with children, smart, goofy, incredibly loyal and they always have to be right next to you or touching you... lol
Just keep an eye on them!! Don't leave them alone with small children and never trust them not to fight.. Be aware of your surroundings and all is good.
Pitbulls used to be known as the grandmother dog, because they protect babies.
I gotta pitbull boxer mix, and she is the best. Got startled by a group of 6 kids and one got in her face... I told her to be good and give kisses and she did.

I loved my pit bull. Had her for 9 yrs until she passed away this year and it broke my heart. She was the best dog I have ever had.

Its also not a job, its more of a responsibility like having a pet. Its a much bigger responsibility obviously but its something you choose to do. Same as being a father. Being appreciated is a weird thing because the only ones who should appreciate it is the kid and father.

difficult and dangerous are very different things. It also depends how you characterize the success of motherhood. Is keeping the child alive a success or is educating and shaping them the benchmark for success.

@Willa-jane's opinion he didn't get the dog, his girlfriend did, he didn't throw it away like his previous owners did, he gave it to his friend because he was having a baby and the dog was too possessive and he was afraid for the baby, so when it comes down to who do you choose the baby or the dog? the choice was clear for him, and he was obviously very upset about it and he still visits the dog and takes his baby to see the dog as it has come in his instagram, so take that sad little face, if you don't know the whole story.
Pit bulls are some of the most affectionate, intelligent dogs there are. As long as they're raised right. They used to be nanny dogs.

I love my Pit Bull. I think she's the most wonderful thing on earth. Bill's joke about people crossing the sidewalk is sadly the truth. I used to live in Harlem, and when I'd walk my roommate's Pit Bull, even though she was the sweetest thing on earth and it was completely unnecessary, people would cross to the other side of the street. It was the only time in NYC when I would get a sidewalk to myself though, and like Bill said, it was fantastic.
I agree with Bill about everything EXCEPT the rescue dog part. I rescued mine from the shelter and gave him a home. When I got him, he was scared, very skiddish and not too friendly. Now he's happy, confident and still not friendly towards strangers. :P but he loves me. I did rescue him. I took him from a place where he was renting and gave him a permanent, loving home.

Ha!! Motherhood is NOT the hardest job. I was a single father who worked and I had NO problems or trouble with it. That's just another way for females to get credit and validation for something. The hardest part of parenthood is the expense that it entails. As far as pittbulls go, the girl next door to me had one when I was a kid and it was an amazing dog, tough too. It got ran over by the school bus and made a full recovery. My cat always kicked her butt though when she would chase her and that was funny. My friend had one too when I was older, his name was Chevy, Baby was the girls dog's name but they were both awesome dogs and extremely well behaved.

Yeah bro.. I always loved pits as well.. thought they were sweet. Then in 2005 one viciously bit my mom for no reason. Almost ripped her knee cap off. She needed 30 stitches. And no one in the world loved dogs more than her. We did animal rescue and fostering for years...

Parenting is only as hard as you make it ( eg . one person can barely handle a football team while another can barely handle one child). Also being a single parent can be a factor but also partnering up which someone who doesn’t help with parenting too

Bill Burr is hilarious. The thing about parenting is it's not "one size fits all". Some mothers work incredibly hard, some not as much. Also, it's not that it's so physically demanding, it's more the mental drain. Ask a working mother what she would rather do, stay at home with the kids all day or go to work. I think you'd be surprised how many would choose work. Mothering is hard because it's endless, you feel like you're in jail because you have nobody to talk to, and hearing screaming all day makes you want to blow your brains out. Stuff like that.

@@formyself2826 The most important role model in a child's upbringing is the same-sex parent. And the family has a stronger economy if both parents are in the home. Families with both parents in the home are the best, to secure a good foundation for their children. But in today's society, we have to work until we die, and hardly see our children, and raise them. Obviously, they become empty shells without any intrinsic value.

My wife is a stay-at-home mom, and she's great at it. I could never do that as well as she can. But, I work for the railroad. On call 24/7 365 days a year. All hours of the morning, day, and night I'm either on a train, at a hotel, or on my way to another train. One day we got into a little "argument" she said I couldn't do what she does. I asked her if she'd like to trade, maybe she could answer the phone at 3 am on 2 hours of sleep and spend the next 18 hours working, taking 20,000 tons down the side of a mountain, being taxed mentally and physically the entire time, go sleep with some bed bugs in a shit hotel then do it again coming back. I miss out on time with my children, and I don't get to have a regular sleep schedule or a diet that won't kill me. I don't get to see Jr's little league game and my daughter, didn't even know who I was for the first four years of her life. I have NEVER had a Christmas morning with my family, I'm a ghost in my own home for the few hours a week I happen to be home. Believe me, I'm paying MY fucking dues and doing MY part. It's not that the mother doesn't sacrifice, it's that the men don't seem to be recognized for theirs. Too many men take YEARS off of their lives working to put food on the table, keep the lights on, and hold a roof over their family's heads only to be told, their work doesn't mean shit.
