its incredibly fun how we make so very interesting observations from characters and movies that barely give us anything to go by. this and the one video about the Decepticons secretly being intentionally portrayed as good guys are my two favourite Bayformer analyses(?) on the internet
This whole thing is really fitting for Sam as a character. He so desperately wanting to be a hero again, and even at the most important moment of his life and the most delicate situation for the human species as a whole, even when he, for the first time in the trilogy, forces his way into the plot, hes still irrelevant. If the writing was just a little bit better this could have a very strong message to it, something in the lines of "You can't get your whole life to be defined by just one glorious moment from your past" something that would be really helpfull for even lebub himself. Man, we all know that we are just overthinking the shit out of those big robot movies, but every time I get back to them I always find something worthy of mention. From Optimus Prime character arc to even Sam himself as a good example of a character that couldnt grow out of his former glory.
Not related to the video but i just had a thought. Sam should have yelled out to ironhide to duck or move to the side and saved ironhide when sential bitch boy shot him in the back
