My husband , a high school chorus director loved this song in all its variations passed away 2years ago of Cancer. Came upon suddenly and was devastating. But I still think of him as he was when we first heard this sung at a Renaissance faire.

I heard hundreds of covers in my life.... There are some good ones. But this is incredible. Simply beautiful. I love the versions of One Republic, Axel Rudi Pell, Pentatonix and Bon Jovi sung it nice. But this is so pure and beautiful. This is the top and made me tear up. This kind of thing is the only kind of music I can listen to. The vast majority of music is just an irritating noise to me.
However rap has its own special category, because that is like something is stabbing into my ear right through to the other ear. Whilst ripping off my nails, the sight of people doing it irritates me too. I have to mention the ridiculous arm & finger thing they do, the boasting, taking photos of themselves pretending to be rich, the long shorts hanging off their backside instead of waist, to the socks pulled right up, the rubbish around their neck that looks like they’ve taking the dog leads off everyone they’ve seen with a dog.
