    Has the Vray Cam been improved in the latest updates? There's a Chaosgroup whitepaper explaining not to use the Vray cam for 360 images. They recommend to use a standard cam. You can easily set the exposure to the vray cam to still have those settings. For larger rooms like this you won't notice it as much but with smaller rooms you somehow get dwarfed with the Vray cam.

    • @ArchVizArtist
      @ArchVizArtist  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wasn't aware of this issue actually, thanks for pointing this out. Same principles will apply in case of standard cam though. Cheers ;)

    Just curious, rendering a 16k output must take a while, do you use a render farm or just wait it out? How long does it take?

    • @ArchVizArtist
      @ArchVizArtist  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you ;) Usually we render on our computers, usually we render overnight and it's fine, but we have really good computers, sometimes we render a couple of regions at the same time split for a number of computers.

      @mae2309 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      WHAT are you rendering that needs to be render in 16K WTFudge!!!! hahahahahha technology hasnt even reach to 8k we are barely getting comfortable with 4k.. rendering a 16k would take you a day or more if you are running a 64 cores machine or more.. but yes. you would need to export it to a farm and still that would be a day of rendering and lots of money spend..

    • @mae2309
      @mae2309 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@martinilopez1 not quite, you can go 2k and it would look good, but my question is,why would anyone would want to be zooming at a 360? 360 aren't meant to be zoomed . They are made to just give you an environment feeling of what your surrounding looks like, Not to zoom. That is why you have vr walk through..
      Dont know who told you this bud.. but, do as you please. Good luck with the rendering times.
      You crazy VATO .. cheers!

      Im thinking on jumping into this platform call Layama check out how it work th-cam.com/video/HHY_JmiUFng/w-d-xo.html
      This platform allows you to compiled all your scenes into a regular HTLM page. You send the link to your clients they could open it anywhere.

    Hi, guys, I love your videos. I am so happy that I stumbled upon this channel. I have a few questions!
    To what number should I leave the denoising amount to 0,65 or change it?
    How long should I render the image with a 4K resolution?
    Thank you very much and keep up the good work!

    • @ArchVizArtist
      @ArchVizArtist  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. It depends, there is no 1 answer. Denoising removes small details, if you render to short and use too much denoising you will lose some details.
