Saw this format in Manchester 2019. Absolutely sensational, no one could not be impressed at the sheer talent and professionalism of Celtic Woman. This video does not do justice to the to how spectacular the show was. If you get the chance to see this show live do not hesitate. Can't wait to see them again. 10/10.
Eabha has such a beautiful alto voice, its unlike anything Ive ever heard, its pierces your heart when she starts to sing. But I am in love with Tara her presence when she plays the violin is contagious she's beaming with light! I am inspired to learn the violin because of her!
I was fortunate enough to see both the original lineup years ago and these talented ladies when they were in Seattle. Had planned to see them this year but of course shows were cancelled..but I would recommend to anyone. They put on a wonderful show that was the highlight of my entire year! ty for posting this.. :-)
The Ancient Land Concert marked the embarkation point for a new music repertoire featuring Celtic Woman. Mairead Carlin, Eabha McMahon, Megan Walsh and Tara McNiell invited us by saying, “Welcome to Your Ancient Land”! ♥️🌹🌹🌹🌹☘️🎶🎤🎻🇬🇧🇮🇪
After all original member retire, they never get grand full orchestra like a new journey album anymore, But This ancient land album format i like it so much. I just hope the next album, they get full orchestra so we could enjoy more of their talents.
A full orchestra and a big show is great, but I'd like to attend a smaller show like this so I can be closer and it feels more intimate. I think they mostly do the big shows for DVD recordings.
Saw them in Salina KS 4/20/22 the sound was overpowering and not in a good way. I am not sure if it was the sound engineer at fault or the fact the ladies were performing in a 100 year old theater. There was one of the originals from fifteen years ago. I think the big difference is in the past there were three *great singers* and in 2022 there was one, and the other two were good but not great. Was it an enjoyable evening? Yes no doubt. But the bar that was set was not reached last night.
Hello Jeroen. Thank you for posting this video. Were you allowed to record at the theater? Just curious. The theater in the US I've seen their Ancient Land and Postcards from Ireland shows does not allow recordings. I hope you're doing well almost 2 1/2 years later now in March of 2022.
I love Celtic Woman but I do miss the early outside concerts they used to do with a major production. To me it cheapens the legacy of early productions they used to do. I realize it cost a lot more, but still I like the early ones.

What is going on with Celtic Woman productions now that so much black and white is being used in the flooring, and with so much use of clear '666' artwork included as well? No one need make a negative remark here. No one loves Celtic Woman more than I do, but these subtleties seem to be growing, rather than diminishing. Perhaps calling attention to this will wake up the right people.
I sure hope you got rid of that audio company they're the worst I've seen of any of your culture thunder or Celtic women I hope I never have to watch them again ruin your programming thank you
The same thing happened in Seattle. It was part of the exhilarating experience for me, it just shows Tara how excited the audience is, they can’t hold themselves in when they first see her. Many of the audience members have waited for months for that moment. I love it, and I’m sure Tara appreciates it. I’ve seen videos in other cities where it didn’t happen, but the audiences that can’t keep themselves from clapping are the ones that the girls talk about on Instagram afterward as having impressed them with their enthusiasm. It’s not like it particularly messes the song up.

Der brillentragende dickliche Trommler ist absolut unnötig und stört nur die Symmetrie der Truppe.Schwacher Auftritt, abgesehen der Sängerinnen, die sind gut wie immer.
MAYBE the next one could incorporate gypsies or irish travelers such as the ones seen on the bbc discovery channel or national geographic- with the travelers compass on the dresses or do we already have that

They only got a full orchestra for DVD specials and Christmas tours
I saw the show in Calgary, Canada in 2019 & they are coming again in 2020.
