Some things, no matter how many times you witness them, never become boring. This is one of those examples for me. I had the good fortune of seeing Flatley perform twice while the music was still live and his feet held out. Makes me incredibly proud to be Irish, and actually gives me chills to watch. The performers are so beautiful in their movements and physical presence!

There is a special place in my heart for this show. Outstanding, stirring and a wonderful spectacle. Time flies when you have a one way ticket. God Bless you all.

Absolutely astonishing performance, here you see a genius at work, perfection from all the dancers, I don’t think we will see the like again , this man is a one off
I love to see them dance! It but chills on my body watching them and they make me smile! These type of dancers are in very good shape, has super team work abilities and has a great dance leader! I try to do this, but can only last for 1 minute!
Great performances! I have no idea why people watch something they don't like and then post negative comments that show that they have no understanding of what the show is about. It's an incredible troop! He retired a few years back. He has drawn huge crowds for over 25 years. The amount of work and talent that goes into these shows is "off the charts" - amazing!
I saw the original show in Boston years ago. Michael Flatley was the best; he had a different female partner at that time, and I liked her the best also. The show and the entire cast of dancers were unbelievable. The stamina they must have. People hit the dislike button by mistake; if you hit the like button more than once, it will register as a dislike and you cannot get rid of the dislike.
I wish they would do this again! over 100 dancers, the same stage, same costumes, numbers everything,! It would be sooo awesome to see a performance like this 1 more time before he gets too old! Feet Of Flames in my heart! All the way
Roger Tupper They are not the same style men or dancers. Why do adults feel a need to compare them as if they we competing? It reflects unnecessary Drama and is reflective of adolescent mindedness. My comment is simply a fact - statement, not intended to be personal nor argumentative.
Yeah well, if they are not the same type of dancers, than WHY is every male-lead in Riverdance impersonating Flatley? I was so glad to see Colin Dunne to do far more of his own thing instead of trying to be like Flatley.
The thing to keep in mind when watching Irish stepdancing, is that the entire group is in complete rhythmic sync along while also not looking at the ground. It is a pure expression of rhythm and coordination. One mistake throws you off and then the person next to you notices you made a mistake and then they mess up, etc, like a domino effect. Seeing it through a video does it no justice.
I've been watching this since it first came out and only now I allowed my eyes to wander a bit and noticed how many dancers there are on stage. Wow, so many!! For the last 20+ years of watching this over & over again, I thought this was a dance solo by Bernadette Flynn
Wow what a show they put on. Totally awesome. The footwork, synchronization and the coordination is truly amazing. And the fireworks at the end. They go out with a bang. Flately is talented, energetic and fun to watch. That's why the audience is so rejuvenated and uplifted.
Though I'm not so much on the Flatley side, I do second you completely on the rest. Especially the beginning, when the violins come on this really gives the whole scene such a 'bring in the army' vibe and as the dancers march onto the stage just fits completely. Like the fireworks as well. Was soooo dissapointed when I saw this in Lord of the Dance 2011 as well, but was a badly timed and not half as impressive pyro-show compared to this.
Michael Flatley is the choreographer and creator of the dance company. So, he does have a good reason to be rather arrogant. He has abundant talent more than his ability to dance. I'm sure the negative comments stem from jealousy. I have to admit that I admire all the dancers and wish I had their ability. Michael had to screen and train all the dancers as well as do all the arrangements and musical compositions. He has reason to be proud. And he looks great and works hard.
What people seem to not realize is that until he came along, few in the United States even knew what Irish Step is. Because of Riverdance/Lord of the Dance, it exploded and had a huge trickle-down effect - more people were learning it in local schools. Yes, he is rather proud of himself, and it does seem a bit much at times, but he's really helped the community a lot.
I actually Like both Micheal Flatley and Colin Dunn and you cant forget Jean Butler from Riverdance if it was Not For Micheal RIVERDANCE wouldn't be around so i thank Micheal for struting his stuff and bringing his talents to the stage thank the lord for him because he showed us that people without proper talent can slowly gain talent and hell the composer for music to riverdance was Bill Whelan so if your going to slag off people who have hurt themselves learning to tap dance i suggest you take a few lessons yourselves you jealous people Lord Of The Dance, Feet Of Flames rock totally as does Riverdance its like watching a magical world when they dance
An absolutely fantastic and enchanting show, Sir Michael Flatley people either love or loathe him, but boy oh boy that man can definitely put on a spectacular show. However the part of him performing whispering winds and whispering winds at the end makes me cry so much. That piece of music is just simply beautiful
I am watching again in August 2017 and i am still in awe of the performance. Light And Love To All The Dancers you have brought so much enjoyment to many through your hard work.
I remember being a fan of this since a school teacher showed us the video of M.F in 90's .He's one of the greatest!!There's not things I'd pay go to see in concert ...this is definitely one.

I was on a cruise a few weeks ago and a female violinist performed on the resort deck while we sailed out of Dubrovnik, playing some parts from Lord of the Dance (or Feet of Flames if that's what you prefer to call it). That pace inherent to the music actually got people going enough to get them start dancing in more than 32° C heat and the music in itself doesn't always get enough credit.
Tracey Gates Hello good morning to you Guys in Feet of flames this was amazing Show i like your Dancing Michael Flatley you are the best Dancer ever in the world and Ireland 🇮🇪 iove from Wales UK 🏴🏴🏴🌍💻
OMG i have been looking for this video for long time. I love this music, love this dance. Its make me remember a person who gave me a love like father's. 😊😊
I will not exaggerate saying that Michael promoted Irish culture better than anybody else before. Look at all these Irish dance clubs around a globe that appeared after him. Not sure how about others but I fell in love with them when they first appeared in 94' Eurovision in Dublin. Looking back I would say that whole song contest that year was worth watching only because of Riverdance!
The Trinity Academy of Dance in Chicago was doing these types of shows a decade before Riverdance was conceived, both domestically and internationally. Matter f fact, they changed the way the All-Ireland Championships were judged because of their advanced dancing beyond the traditional type. Ironically, the founder and director at Trinity, Mark Howard, took his lessons from the same man, Dennis Dennehy, that Flately did and Mark and Michael know each other - well.
He was a genius when I was still a student he came to Shanghai to perform when I really wanted to go but the tickets are too expensive so didn't see the final performances and I don't know if there are opportunities to see his show~!sad dispoint~!~!
Aw my God if I danced like that, someone would have to call an ambulance for me for oxygen....Michael Flatley you always will be RIVERDANCE!!! Lord of the Dance.

I always just preferred him in the original riverdance. It seems like after awhile, the backup dancers would be the ones doing most of the work while he 'conducted', strutted around, & lunged, like here. It's not like he can't do it, so I guess it's just his style, but I just personally preferred him in Riverdance a lot more than any of his other shows
I saw Riverdance in Las Vegas years ago and loved it, but two of my buddies FELL ASLEEP! How can you possibly fall asleep with 50 stepdancers doing this?
Hello I'm a dancer to the music that your listening to is tradition in my line I'm irish a Celtic warrior way way back before Columbus discovered America I'm glad to have been able to share alittle of my family's history
What a finale! I saw him with a smaller troupe at foxwoods casino. It was when he was retiring on my feet dancing the whole time. There is know way i would not be able to hold my containment if I saw this live!
Im proud to be Irish and even prouder when I see the dancing in this video what a way to sell ireland as a cultural country. Now here's the question we all want to know in 2020 Michael, When is Fleet of flames two going to happen?
@@SpookyElectric319 Never say never. If he doesn't participate he might be shrewd enough to put another great irish dancer in his place but be the producer of a new show- which would be amazing too. The fact he was involved. Lets see what 2021 brings news off?
This is awesome! Thanks Marina for sharing. I love it!!! :) I have some Irish in me, but even if I didn't, who wouldn't love this? Really? WooHooooooooooo!!! This Rocks!!! :) ;)
when will we ever find such a group of talent ever again 😭 the choreography that goes with the music and storyline is just simply amazing as well, definitely one of my favourite childhood memory ❤️
He must have been kicked out of every traditional Irish Dance due to his flamboyant style until he got on the big stage where no one could kick him out. That performance was amazing!! Love the stage full of dancers.
well, he did get kicked out of Riverdance, but considering that he then wento on to do Lord of the Dance (which Feet of Flames is a one-off special performance of), I'd say it turned out for the best. He may have been a bit of an asshole with a bloated ego, but this is truly timeless.
Some things, no matter how many times you witness them, never become boring. This is one of those examples for me. It seems like after awhile, the backup dancers would be the ones doing most of the work while he 'conducted', strutted around, & lunged, like here. It's not like he can't do it, so I guess it's just his style, but I just personally preferred him in Riverdance a lot more than any of his other shows
Sherry Lee The dancers were likely disciplined before Michael ever met them.
The master of both riverdance and Lord of 💃
I saw Riverdance in Las Vegas years ago and loved it, but two of my buddies FELL ASLEEP! How can you possibly fall asleep
with 50 stepdancers doing this?
His legs flail about as if independent of his body!!!!!
+M. King LOL....you're a "Friends" fan!! I could hear "Chandler's" voice when I read your comment. Love it!! =)

Michael Flatley looks like he had so much fun on stage!
wow, he is just fantastic, talk about crowd pleasing!!
Hello I'm a dancer to the music that your listening to is tradition in my line I'm irish a Celtic warrior way way back before Columbus discovered America I'm glad to have been able to share alittle of my family's history
amazing dancer and choreographer - his work is mesmerizing. No-one recalls who won Eurovision that year Riverdance did
Michael Flatley reminds me of Johnny Lawrence from Karate Kid - particularly with the black headband and red jacket.
It's beautiful...🇧🇪🤗👍👏💞🙅♀️🙋♀️

What he/they said.
Merci de nous faire rêver, quel émotions.🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
when will we ever find such a group of talent ever again 😭
the choreography that goes with the music and storyline is just simply amazing as well, definitely one of my favourite childhood memory ❤️
The best for all times Michael Flatley , BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Love you guys ! Didnt know about heritage at the time i went to 1 of your shows but i had tears watching . ❤
