This song is SO powerful, I didn't realise it wasn't the national anthem. I remember back over here in England I was humming this tune thinking, "Wow! America has an amazing national anthem." I was gutted when I found out this wasn't actually the anthem. What are you guys doing?! Why the heck isn't this your national anthem? This particular song makes me proud of America (and I don't even live there). This is hands down one of the best attractions at WDW, I hope they never get rid of it. In actual fact, it makes me want to be part-American. Of course I'm passionate about England & I always will be, but man, I think I love America more than the people living there.
This show is awesome and I’m glad that it also speaks to an audience that isn’t American. You summed it up well with just how powerful the song is, and I think it speaks to a greater strength with the show and the Disney parks as a whole where they try to actually incite some emotion from the guest rather than just fun or thrill. This montage as well as the two brothers scene earlier in the show really just hit me in the feels in a way that very few attractions anywhere else do.
i remember listening to this song at a very young age on my moms disney world album it is such a wonderful song! when i went to epcot for the 1st time at the age of 3 i went to the american adventure and during this scene i sang the song out loud and everyone looked at me i also sang it while walking out of the show and the cast members were surprised that i knew all the words to that song!
Just saw it today after a delicious lunch next door in italy. The whole show including the acapella group at the start was gorgeous and this tribute at the end was just completely heartwarming and left me with a few tears. Just a beautiful presentation
I remember that in the early days of EPCOT the World Showcase would close at 11 PM. However, the American Adventure presented it's last show at 11 PM. When you left the theater the park was pretty much deserted. They would have one of the old World Showcase double-decker buses waiting for the guests after the show and you'd be driven to the Showcase Plaza (right where Future World starts). It was a great way to spend a little extra time at EPCOT. Thanks for posting this.
Epcot is now one of the best places I've been to in all my Twenty-Two summers spent on this Earth And the presentation of this show, flawless. The animatronics were well... very well animated. The music at the end and as you walk out of the theater, epic and fitting. Disney nailed it. cant believe I just said that.
I like how during the song golden dream you get to see the last 75 years of American history from the end of world war II up till the present day and that is why I like the American adventure show.
I miss Ryan White. They need to remove Lance Armstrong if they haven't already. The random children waving flags in a room at the end is kind of weird.

Too much negativity. So we have a different president. It's up to us to continue spreading positive vibes and love. The president will never change my view of America.
We're just going through another bumpy period of time in the US. We may have a bad president now, but the possibility of another amazing individual making a true change for the country still lies on the road ahead. We just have to stay positive.
What a juvenile and embarrassing piece of asinine propaganda. It is disgraceful that this stupidity happens again and again every day. This is the very fountain of bullshit, and the only prompt to deconstruction that a young mind might ever need. Three and a half stars.
If the great U.S.A ever needs an alternative national anthem, I think this would be a perfect choice! Thumbs up if you agree
Only 53 people agree? Lol

In my humble opinion, THIS should be the National Anthem.
Yes and God in it
This brings a tear to my eye EVERY time I see it...simply because of the music and the harmony.

Such a fabulous, eloquent tribute to our wonderful country. Extremely well done, simply beautiful.
YEAH USA USA USA
God, I cry like a baby everytime I see the ending of this show.
They had this song at the fireworks tonight (Itasca, IL). It's a wonderful patriotic song!
folks should listen to this during Independence Day
IKR it is epic.

I always want to cry here.

Hard not to.
Makes me cry every time
I don’t know about the rest of you but I prefer this version over the new version of this song.
The audio-animatronics are getting so good!
it is the best version so far. thank you
Happy Fourth of July 2015! 🎉🇺🇸
Amazing animatronics at the end!!! Best animatronics programming in all of Disney. So very cool.
This song makes me proud to be an American!!!
I cry every time JFK jr Salutes his dad in his casket
Yes, the Steve who's account on TH-cam was started yesterday, and this is his first comment. Surely a sign to inspire confidence and belief.
I cry everytime they show walt disney

Those animatronics are so convincing
Absolutely he was. Pictured with Mao Zedong 1972. Standing side by side.
Shown at Epcot, Disneyland and California Adventure.
They must have updated the song from the original
America has alot to be ashamed of. But they also have alot to be proud of. Where would the world be without the USA? (and no, I'm not an American)....

Nixon was on this standing next to the Chinese dude. Wow a lot of people have been on this and ended up in a heap... I remember seeing all of those people including OJ hahahahah wow
Epcot and California Adventure weren't even open in 1972.
Why is Bill Gates not in that video?

It's hard to watch this post 2016 election. America has fallen so far from this majestic vision.
I disagree. America will always change, and will always triumph.

Exactly my point. Presidents come and go. The American Dream lives on.
