A few years back, I got to meet the composer of this song, Bob Moline. Besides being a fantastic musician, he's also a real nice guy. He patiently listened while I gushed on and on about how great his EPCOT songs were. Besides "Golden Dream", Bob also wrote "Energy (You Make the World Go 'Round)", "Listen to the Land", and "Canada (You're a Lifetime Journey") for the original versions of these EPCOT attractions.
The woman in the olive dress all the way to the left retired a year or two ago. She originated the Voices of Liberty when EPCOT opened and had been singing with them ever since.
I just ordered their "We The People" CD, from Amazon. As JLo would say, "they give me goosies". When visiting WDW, I catch one of the performances, each day. LOVE them!
The voices still perform every day before the upstairs Adventure. Tiffany, the soloist is still with the group, and John has just retired. Bradley is still one of the directors.

IMHO, this version is so much better than the current one towards the end of the actual American Adventure presentation.
The original was much better than the new one as well. It had a lot more heart and the ending is perfect.
