Flip to mute does not work I'm returning it because that's the feature the I actually want. If you flip it up it just picks up the sound from speakers in the headset. Very comfy though

I just bought this headset for my xbox and it was great until I started a chat on xbox there is a constant echo going through from my friends talking when I jave this set up and when I flip the mic up to mute the headset noise still comes outs. I know I'm late, but the G332 is an upgraded version of the G230. It has higher ohms, whatever that means. But at the moment the G332 is only 5 dollars more than the G230, so the better buy is the G332.
if it's just static noise, then it's because of a problem with the mic. you can't really reduce background noise unless you tell them to shut up or get another microphone capable of reducing background noise
It is weird how the mic on the headphones sound "I am speaking through a microphone like I'm a airline pilot", but the mic on his shirt doesn't sound like that at all.
I've had this headset for about 8 months now and there has been a lot of problems associated with them. 1: When the microphone is muted and youre in a call/party with someone the audio from TH-cam plays through the headset itself and so legit everyone in the fucking party can hear what you're watching, whether the headset is muted or not its actually fucked. 2: They break easily. 3: The cords on the inside of the rubber tube that keeps it as one big cord becomes twisted extremely fucking easily and never comes undone. 4: constant echoing, when you mute the microphone of the headset, it actually still echos everyones voices through it whether you muted it or not. I honestly wish this headset was even worth $30 not even fucking close!

no you need one, but it comes with an included splitter in case you needed or wantes to use the two separate imputs.
