The fact that Blood Incantation, Maul, Cosmic Putrefaction and now Undeath, all of them bands that supposedly make "true" Death Metal fans "physically ill", have all put quality material on the week that marked a new anniversary of *Nightmares Of The Decomposed* is a very delicious case of poetic justice.
I'm pretty sure that all these albums will be forgotten very quickly but NotD will become classic (the Room kinda classic). The fact that you remember exact date when it was released, speaks volumes.
Recently came across your channel looking for new music releases to check out. Really enjoyed this album as well as some more of your videos! Cheers from a fellow Ontarion a few hours down the 401!
It's fantastic. I love this band. Haven't heard the EPs but I have the three LPs now and I'm extremely happy with all of them. Very worth the purchase.
I said this on Thralls also. This is a great album but theres something lost on this one that made the previous 2 more unique. Notably, the production on their first 2 albums was so muddy and dirty along with Alex's vocals being more filthy that it made Undeath's brand of death metal stand out more to me over the crowd. Again, still a great record with some moments of its own.
Vocals could have been more muddy and low but I actually like hearing the riffs. There were still some riffs that were inaudible or flabby because of tone, while others hit hard.
Hey buddy. Loved the video. Not sure if you covered this band or not(still trying to catch up on older stuff) but give: Corpse pile- hardcore deatmetal a listen/review. As a fan of handcore/beatdown it has a slammy style to it. Maybe something you're into. But reminds me of some early dying fetus mixed with slam. Keep up the great work, dudeski.
Hey uncle melty u should review after the flesh by kaivs it comes out Oct 18 it is there debut I believe and it is I believe blackened death metal not sure on that but they sound pretty from wat I have heard
Honestly, the new Blood Incantation is way too overdone for me. Listen to the new Cosmic Putrefaction record. Came out the same day as Blood Incantation, but it's way more entertaining IMO.
Man I hope I don't sound rude when asking but. You've used meat and potato's as both a positive and a negative for a lot of albums. So how do you determine when it's good to just be kind of run of the mill and when it's bad?
Not rude at all. Infact, its a totally fair question to ask. Think of it like this. Two chefs have prepared a plate of 'meat and potatoes'. One plate is a ribeye with pomme alligot, roasted yellow beans and asparagus, fresh gravy, all perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The other plate is a microwaved meat loaf with a microwaved 'baked' potato and a sad looking side salad. The former is good, the latter is not. When an album is GOOD meat and potatoes it reminds me of the former. Maybe not the most original thing in the world but its well produced and surprisingly varied and just plain fun. When an album is BAD meat and potatoes it reminds me of the latter. Bland, boring, derivative, nothing special.
There are really good tracks on it "Wailing Cadavers", "Cramped Caskets" or "Dead from Beyond" - heavy DM. IMO the tracks in metalcore etc direction are the weakest.
@@themetalmeltdownofficial not metalcore exact, but some melodylines, vocals and drums - for example "Disattachment of a Prophylactic in the Brain" reminds me on Lamb of god.
It is though. Grammatically correct and appropriate. I'd normally say 'nice try', but frankly this was a pretty lazy and pathetic attempt at a 'gotcha' so I won't.
@@themetalmeltdownofficial it really isn't -- you have the same autism as Wyassxtwerp, huh boy? You would say "similarly" -- "simultaneous to that" is meaningless.
The fact that Thrashing Jackson is writing his comment on a computer with a "Queer market" sticker on it, is comedy gold. 😂
Undeath keepa getting better and better with some death metal old school I love this s***
4/5 great death metal album

Damn never even thought of that lmao
Side note: new Cosmic Putrefaction and Maul are really good too.

@@themetalmeltdownofficial Big love to COSMIC PUTREFACTION.
Undeath is not in that category

Im only here because I liked your video shit talking about the new deicide album

That was the strangest pronunciation of the word “lesions” I’ve ever heard 😂
I know of Undeath I listened to a couple songs from them I haven't listened to their albums.
Check em out! "Its Time... To Rise From The Grave" is still my favourite but this album has plenty of bangers too.
A bit too hard on the Cannibal Corpse worship, but cool to toss on when you wanna lose your mind in riffage
I'm not a fan of ambitious death metal, for the most part. so I think I'll be a bigger fan of this than the new Blood Incantation
@@xtransxcorex Totally fair, dig in bud

nahh. Its a solid record, I just don't really have much to say about it.
Thrashing Jackson been watching those Justin Horval vids again....

Оne of the most boring death metal bands and I've heard tons of death metal in my life
another boring modern death metal album. These new artists just dont do much for me.
