Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2024!! Heading home

- After finishing out the week in Murrels Inlet for the Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2024 it is time to head home.
This morning we were up before the sun said our goodbyes to Chip and Amanda and put the finishing touches on Goliath to make him ready to roll.
The trip home went pretty smooth. We stopped twice for fuel and a couple of times just to take a break.
Home Michaela and the grandbabies came to help unload our personal items and groceries out of Goliath,. And Zach showed up with the moving truck so we can get rid of the five drums of oil that we brought home. After unloading the oil we were able to unload the motorcycles before taking the oil over to the new shop.
Then we got to go home to see the tornado damage for the first time

After seeing my ribeye steak deliver itself to your house, I like NC even more.. Thanks for the video Adam, hope you get everything cleaned up quick
lol!
Hi Adam. I always found that running an additional ground wire from my antenae to the body helped my radio "get out" better. Take care. Todd the retired trucker.
Good tip! I was considering running additional power because some of the wiring in this truck is old
❤TY4 VIDEO ADAM YAL STA SAFE THNK GOD YAL R OK 🇺🇸
I hate the anxiety of losing speed climbing a pass. Not sure why but I think its you assume 1, something is gonna break, or 2, everyone around you is P.O'ed. Or coming to a town that's perched on a pretty steep grade and hit every red light going through. Anyways glad the house is ok and you made it home without incident!! Looking forward to your next adventure.
Glad ya made it home and remember the damage could have been worse.
Definitely true, but it still feels good to be home
I’m from N.E. Ohio, not known for the greatest roads, and the absolute worst Interstate I’ve ever been on is I65 through Birmingham, AL. Btw, I spent at least a week a year running around Heywood County on my bike. We would make the trek at least once a year to Cruso to Henry and Dee’s Blue Ridge MC Campground. Loved the Waynseville/Maggie Valley area. I’m talking 83-93 or so. Wished I lived down there.
Definitely some good riding around here and it can be a great place to live
Great video Adam thanks for sharing your trip from Myrtle to home . Glad you made it home safely with no problems. Thanks for sharing looking forward to your next video stay safe Adam and Katie.
Thank you again, Richard, I appreciate you watching the channel and always leaving great comments
Another great series of Vlogs really enjoyed them, thanks Adam for your time and effort. UK viewer
My pleasure, I’m glad you’re enjoying the content
Talking about how bad the roads are my brother.... everywhere!
So much for Biden's Infastructure bill passed on November 15, 2021.
Good to see you on the road again.
Godspeed Amsoil Adam family and crew.
Don't blame Biden. Put the blame where it belongs. The State, Cities and the towns. Hell you've had crappy roads forever...

He's the current resident in chief is he not?
And another one from a long line of white house residents that promised to fix roads and update infrastructure.
The township where I reside keeps up road repairs.
Good morning thanks for taking the time to chat a bit sunday while you were tearing down , i hope you had a good rally have a safe trip home see you in the fall back at murrells inlet
It was my pleasure Jimmy, we always appreciate when you come by
Hit the rev limiter on every shift and make that mountain a mole hill..like David is right behind you!
Wow! Steak on the hoof, walking through the front yard! Good looking black Angus
Nice ride back enjoy your couple of weeks at home
I probably would if it wasn’t for all the cleanup, just kidding. I’ll still enjoy it.
That looked like a freezer full of beef🤣they need to be careful.
Lol, they’re lucky my freezers is already full
❤BLU RIDGE SMOKEY MTS❤
Yes
Thanks for a very pleasant journey home. Good luck with the assessor 🤔and you look as you will be very busy...Cheers for now.
Fingers crossed!
Peace out!!
Good beautiful warm morning. Suns bright this morning right in my eyes
Morning!
Hope you get it all squared away Adam! Good trip home!!
I hope so too
When you go west from Laconia if you have enough fuel, the Indian reservation is exit 58 off the NYS thruway in Irving, ny for cheap fuel
Yes, I have been there before, my friend Gary lives in Cherry Creek right down the road
Great scenery beautiful country!
It really is!
Glad to see you got home safe and sound. Good luck with the adjuster and with the property moving forward
Thanks 👍
Beautiful drive. We're heading to Maggie valley this weekend for the first time, was hoping to ride there from Charleston but looking like a bit of rain so might wind up driving.
Have fun! Maggie Valley is a very beautiful area
Awesome music
Thank you, sir
On our way home on Saturday, Jan and I stopped at Bucky's for gas. I got the gas and got the hell out of Dodge. I have never seen so many people at one stop in my life. I don't know how many pumps they have but it seemed all of them were full. The whole time we were there the line of cars coming and going into that place never stopped. We were not about to go into the store. We live in Irmo SC you will pass on your way home. About 75 miles from Bucky's. We got back on the trike and stopped when we got to our driveway. Jerry
Yes, sometimes Buckys can be crazy with traffic. It’s such a popular place with so many cool things and cheap fuel to boot.
Your running the same route justin runs he just did a video going over that bridge I think it was that one. I've been to Florida one time beautiful state
Florida has many beautiful areas in it. Some great springs, beautiful beaches. But the one thing they don’t have that I absolutely need in my life is mountains.
About 11:05 looking to your right at a far distance, you will see the tallest tv towers in South Carolina and maybe the south. They range from 1,250 to 1,600 feet. NBC, ABC and CBS towers.
Very interesting
Good luck!
Thanks!
I use the fuel app for pricing
Safe travels!!
Thank you
Same here plan them fuel stops save alot of money usually
Sometimes it’s not possible, but whenever it is, I try to plan it for savings
Seen you guys rolling through Canton NC !
😀 that’s awesome
You coming back to Turtle beach in the fall?
That is the plan
Nothing like an early morning roll out. How far was Amanda riding to that day?
I think she did 500 or 550 miles or so up to Northern Virginia
@@amsoiladam Nice 👍
Hi Adam, great content, what is the MPG of Goliath when towing?
It varies about 6 to 6 1/2 when fully loaded
🙈😀 thanks
How did Goliath come to be?
Looks like it started life as a dump truck and then the owner of the rock quarry that owned the truck, pulled it out of Service, cut it apart and built this monstrosity
Do you vend at Americade
No sir, we do not. However, if you were looking for Amsoil products, I believe that andriy and Harry are going to be there.
I'm guessin' about 80 feet, nose to tail...?
88 1/2 if you’re referring to Goliath
@@amsoiladam I was. Pretty good guess, I guess, LOL
When I put synthetic in my primary, started slipping immediately. Switched back to Formula Plus from Harley, problem solved. J M. O
I hear about this every once in a while. But at the same time I have put synthetic in thousands and thousands of motorcycles with zero issue. I think sometimes some clutches are just picky.
