Part of me hurts so bad for Meredith, she didn't deserve people like Richard in her childhood. But despite everything he did to Ellis Grey and Meredith Grey, they had enough grace to forgive him. Men like Richard and Mark Sloan don't realize the kind of damage they cause in their younger days. When they go around having multiple affairs at a time, cheating despite being married(Richard), and sleep around with so many women including your brother's wife(Mark) leaving children behind growing without a father.... That's generational damage right there. Just be cautious who you choose to get involve with because they are cowards in the world who walk away.
I’ve gotta defend mark a lil- at least as of mid season 6. Unlike Richard he sees the damage he does, and tries to make amends somewhat. He understands he’s a kinda shitty person. Richard thinks he’s all that, he doesn’t seem to understand he’s flawed beyond his alcoholism. I hate Richard personally.
I understand Richard was not a good guy but Ellis grey was not a good women .. she cheated on her husband and resented her child.. and gave another for adoption and wouldn’t even care to receive an update on what that child is doing.. ellis was as bad as richard and merideth childhood is ellis and her husbands fault.. richard is a cheater but he is not the one responsible for merideth childhood tramas
she was not ! it's why she called the shrink a terrible shrink ! she was saying, that derek didn't know meredith well enough, didn't understand that she needed a support system. it had nothing to do with her.

Yeah Cristina felt threatened the minute that Meredith’s shrink said that…she wanted Meredith all to herself for selfish reasons. Cristina thought by being alone that Meredith would follow suit whereas Meredith wanted the man & kids with the white picket fence etc… Until Owen came into the picture, then Cristina thought she would be happy just for the sake of having sex, he wanted more so she was all in, only then she agreed to marry him because she didn’t wanna end up alone because of the shooting not because she actually wanted to marry him. After the shooting she went all funny which is understandable.
You know an actor is good when you can't stand the character and Meredith is the most insufferable and entitled character and it is discusting she is not held accountable
