Deleting social media and cutting out unnecessary distractions has given me more time and space to improve my skills. I’m learning German, perfecting my Italian and Greek and plan to learn more languages going forward
likewise! Social media eats out your time if you are not earning with it.
Winning in all areas in your life, whether it's career, relationships, etc., is about emotional strength, not intellectual strength. Emotional strength comes with time, experience and a genuine effort from the individual to take the pain as it comes . Pain from such things as job loss, relationship failure, career failure, not realizing your dreams, being proven wrong, dealing with addictions and so on and so on.
I hope who ever is reading this is winning. Or at least starts winning🏆

I have used almost all these skills since getting my MS in Advertising and Public Relations way back in 1973 to build myself into a successful serial entrepreneur! I was involved in video editing back in the analog 1980s - 1990s which led to my video production company and then being a certified Comcast producer. I have written 18 books since 1999 the majority on my Preparedness and Survival Skills niche paying monthly Amazon royalties!

I will be more than glad to help however remember I come from the days of pre Internet and social media when we sent out printed one page double spaced info, real photos, in slick packages. However the items still need to be electronically available in zip file format. Photos should be professional and offer at least a half dozen of different poses like I saw yesterday in a press package of an author. The press release should still answer the 5 Ws - WHO, WHEN, WHERE, WHY, WHAT and H - HOW. Then it should have your contact info at the top or bottom with your name, agency name, email address, website address and phone number.

I have more of these than I realized as just hobbies that I enjoy, I write and take photos nearly daily! I need to work on graphic design and programming more though 🥺
As a french native speaker, I had to stretch my brain and today I can say that I'm able to communicate readily in English!
The title to the video is to the point. I can talk from experience, I have learnt some of these skill and I did it on my own by trial and error and getting my hands dirty. Although I was introduced to coding due to my college but other skills and advanced coding I learnt by myself. While listening to this video I realised that I learnt many of the skills for atleast the fundamentals.
How do you learn?
For example a skill like People Management,writing or curating knowledge?

10:48 Italian is one of the most profitable and advantageous languages to study? I would have expected Chinese, Spanish, and Arabic, but Italian surprises me. The number of Italian speakers has been declining for years, especially in the U.S. I know this because I'm Italian-American. I guess Alux must mean that Italian will help in the world of high fashion or wine making.

First, have a definite, clear, practical ideal; a goal, an objective. Second, have the necessary means to achieve your ends; wisdom, money, materials, and methods. Third, adjust all your means to that end💕💕
People skills need to be a top priority. Sitting behind a computer all day churning out isn't healthy. I will say, teaching, public speaking, and learning a different language would go a very long way. As for Graphic Design, my degree is in Graphic Design and I enjoyed it for many years, now, everyone who has Photoshop, Illustrator, or some knockoff application believe they are an extraordinary designer. Design takes years to really masters and viewing other masters of graphic design is a start, along with the art of typography.

Photography isn't an "in demand" skill. As a photographer/videographer, I often see people graduating from college and are unable to find work. A lot of these graduates are very good at photography but can't make a living at it. The photography market is over saturated. There are too many people floating around who call themselves a "photographer" and yet have no idea of what it takes to get a good image. On top of that, the quality of is acceptable has greatly dropped in the last 10 years. The same applies to video editing and cinematography.

In the South when I was growing up we had to learn how to do many things because we didn't have the money to pay for a lot of things. Capitalism gives everyone the pathway to achieve in life but when they use their fortune to harm others then they are just bad and they have lost the true meaning of Capitalism...
