This CEO has done her research! I’m very impressed. She is not just opening a business, she is genuinely interested in a healthy hair journey. When you really love what you do, you do it passionately!
Listenah! I get so excited when I see one of our people in the diaspora producing products that address and cater our needs. I am here in the US and I will definitely be supporting my sister! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
One of the hardest things that I ever did was giving up my relaxed hair, but in 2014, I decided to bite the bullet. As a fashion executive, I travel globally extensively, add to that my aggressive gym activities, and relaxed hair made it all so easy. After giving up my relaxer, I had to architect new lifestyle approaches, but almost a decade later, I am so glad that I made the choice to give up the creamy, white hair crack.
Best decision ever for my lifestyle- and bald with style and no regrets. Doing it different this time. Meaning, no more concerns with length or hair types etc. stuff that are non-factors. If bald or twa is conducive to my lifestyle then that’s what I will have. Could care less about the other stuff, as long as my hair and scalp is healthy.
I’m glad you said this, because women like to cry about how hard it is, lifestyle this, busy that- listen, this is the hair we were born with!! You have to make it work *AROUND* your lifestyle because you just should. It’s the hair God gave us & he made no mistake. It’s not “difficult” hair. It’s just our hair. Me seeing black women walking round with (European appropriating) wigs & straight hair is like the highest level of insanity & psychological malaise. *Until we start to wear our natural hair, we will always perpetuate European beauty as the standard* . To the world. Our children. Our men.
I’ve been natural for years. A bit over a year ago I started doing homemade natural/henna/oils/hot oil treatments weekly routines. Now a year and almost a half later my hair is the so glorious. I love the waves of the curls and thickness, I haven’t seen my hair like this, since I was a child. Nourishing 4c hair is now my self care meditation time.
Congratulations, welcome to the club Fumi. I've cut waist length hair off twice. My advice is learn your hair, it took me two years to learn my hair. My family roasted me at every holiday. They call me now for hair tips. ✌🏾
I started getting relaxers at a very young age, so until four years ago, I didn't know what my natural hair pattern looked like. When I decided to go natural, I took the scorched earth approach. I shaved my head bald...TWICE. It's been a little over two years since the second shave, and when I tell you my hair is THRIVING!!! I could never go back to processing. I love the way my 4c coils bounce. I love feeling the weight of my hair as it grows, especially during washes. Most of all, I love the realization that the hair people deem "difficult" is actually phenomenal! From shrinkage to stretch, my crown can do what many others can't. Lots of love from your Naija sis! ♥
Is it just me or is Auntie Fumi expressing her deep Nigerian roots more and more these days? I love every bit of it! Positive and creation energy to you Auntie Fumi 💛🌻💛🌻💛
I love all the beautiful queens. Thank you Fumi for introducing and supporting 1- black business 2- healthy hair for black women and 3 last but not least the education of maintaining our beautiful hair. I’m so happy to follow these women bc I want to intentionally have beautiful healthy hair. Love you❤!!
I felt like being in hairchurch. The pastors are preaching powerfully and they ship to the Netherlands 🎉 Thank you Fumi, of all the items you have shared with us this hits home. Due to stress and gel I have lost a lot of hair. It is stable now so I am doing this 6 month challenge with you. Lets go🙌🏾
Aunty Fumi i come to your channel atleast x5 times per week whenever i feel i need motivation and positivity. Your energy, your voice , your heart, your content is wholesome you have everything i need in my life etc. I appreciate you and thank you for being the mom a sister, a therapist and a besty that has the best interest for you. I'm finally going back HOME to my NATURAL hair after processing it for OVER THIRTY YEARS & it feels so good that I have found a home in THE HEALTH HAIR STUDIO and with the Amazing Enitan with whom I absolutely TRUST. I’m glad to see it. I remember wigs and weaves were for stage or screen professionally done. Then the switch happened and more people started wearing daily or became damaging. Especially when those that choose to add hair started kind of judging those of us that choose natural hair. And now we find out how damaging all these glues, straighteners, etc are to the body. I’m thrilled about this journey for Fumi.
I’ve had the same thoughts so I’ve decided to no longer relax. I’ve been doing at home treatments with cloves, rosemary, etc… I think our natural hair is so beautiful so I’m determined to do actually do it. I wanted locks and years ago I was going to start it with my brother but i didn’t and now his locks are waist length! I’m so mad at myself but better late than never. Good luck!!!
Best decision I ever made was going natural... to think I made it for a broke cashless place 😅.. 8 years later.. no regrets I’m this healthy hair journey with you Anuty Fumi. Letssssss gooo😅
I loved this! Its what we need to see and learn from as black women. You are using your platform to help uplift our community and I love the education.❤
I truly did enjoy this episode, I have been a natural for over three years now and I can honestly tell you it has been the best move I could have ever made. My hair is healthier than it has ever been when it was relaxed, and I love the different textures that I'm seeing, I'm never going back!
Thank God it is in Hammersmith as I travel there often from Ireland. I am so delighted. Will book an appointment shortly. Well done Fumi for sharing this. ❤ 🇮🇪 🇬🇧🇬🇩
Wow, Fumi, this is fantastic. There is a whole amazing world of "love and take care of YOU" after 50, after the hubby, after the babies. All that stuff that we couldn't do or didn't think to do in our 30s/40s. It's never too late. Love Yourself Now! I love it! Thank you for being a catalyst!
19:51, Fumi I ordered the three hair products. First time using just two of them was yesterday. Today, my short, natural, usually nappy hair, is so soft and fabulous. I can now use the smaller comb and it just slides through. I am loving these products. Can't wait to see how long my hair will be in December. I took the challenge also. A little expensive, however, worth every dime, simply because it's for me. I am so worth it!
Any Canadian Fuministas here? Lets bring this franchise here and start a revolution. I have locs since 1999 and its time everybody joins the fab natural side. Let's do this!
I was looking this hair place for the last few months and was on the fence. Thank you Fumi. I purchased the products and yes...I am about to book an initial consultation. Thank you so much Fumi for loving US as black women.
You are beautiful! I love that you don't mind celebrating others and giving them their flowers. You are a beautiful spirit, keep glowing, growing and being you. I really enjoyed you as always 🙏🙏🙏
Aunty Fumi, you will be in another type of peace when you will have your hair back to natural. I had relaxes hair, very beautiful for the longest I can remember but in December 2018, I returned to natural hair, when I tell you I never ever been that happy in my whole adult Life, it is not a joke. It brings peace. A lot of work until you find that routine, but definetely worth it. I am in my 30s and I can count up to 7 times the number of times I braided my hair. Even when I Was relaxed I always left my hair at peace. Eating well, sleeping well, drinking my water and minding the solely business that pays me. Thanks aunty for this video, the lady knows her topic
Congratulations Auntie Fumi! You are such a beautiful woman who will look good with any type of hair style. I’m so excited for your natural hair journal!
Wow Fumi, This is is lovely. The hair studio is amazing and it caters to Black hair. I’m in Chicago and you know I want those products. I did the big chop in 2017 and my hair had been growing so slow. I need this place. Thank you for this information. ❤❤
I have fine, low to medium density hair, I struggled with my hair since a teenager, The relaxer would always break my hair, even if I texlaxed, Having weaves and wigs was, expensive, itchy and time consuming, tried to be natural a few times but that required even more of my time and the shrinkage was rude, It was when lockdown happened all the non essential shops where closed down, I asked myself what am I going to do with my hair?? Fumi ~"Oga!" God bless you and your beautiful head. We live~ we luv what ever you do. I have always appreciated natural women and know from men friends that they so respect natural women because they know what it takes. Oh my Enitan~ your "Hair is so very lovely!" Thank you both. God bless you all my darling daughters AND sons. My biracial Nigerian/American son knows just how much work it is to deal with what I call "Hair-to-there" when your journey is to grow out very dense and coily hair. It takes knowledge and skill, discipline, dilligence and determination with respect and self love for what God has given you.😘😘🥰
This reminds me back in the years when we are doing hair journey and the hair products reminds me of macadamia natural oil hair. Is good that someone has come up again to educate people about healthy hair care again in our community.🥰
Your looking for a show but I think you are bringing the show to us keep going your gonna get there Because this is better because u can't bring the hair studio to the office Your on your way and you don't even know it ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Wouldn't know about this for us without you 🎉
Fumi I am here for it. I just did the big chop again after about 15 years plus natural. I had many losses during this time. I had major surgery, lost my uncle, my mom and father, 2 first cousins, my job of 7 years, but I'm still here. My hair was the least. I feel free. My hair broke off from stress. So I hit the reset button.❤
Very enlightening and educational Fumi. I’ve often cut my relaxed hair right off but have not been able to manage the regrowth effectively when it’s grown back so quickly. I think a trip to the Healthy Hair Studio is on the cards. Thanks for taking us along at the start of your journey 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Congrats 😃 I look forward to watching you and transformation ! It’s also great that you have such educated women in the hair care field leading the way. Education is the key to success and knowledge is power! 😉
Fumi, this is so necessary!!!! Thank you and the ladies who have educated us in this video. I will be purchasing the products, but I really want to find a healthy hair salon here in NYC
Fumi you look so beautiful. I love the business concept, the packaging and the natural hair movement. I will be supporting this business. Thank you for this wonderful video which is not only entertaining but education as usual. x
Thank you so much! For me, this video was so overdue. It is greatly appreciated 🙏🏼. I hope being in the US won't ender me from getting these products. Thanks again. ❤
Fumi thanks for educating me. I really enjoyed this episode. I wish this family of sisters would come to NY. These sisters are knowledgeable and genuine.
Thanks, Fumi. I really need help with the health and growth of my hair right now. I hope that you will take us with you through your natural hair journey. I just ordered the products and can't wait to try them. It is so pleasing to have products and beautiful, knowledgeable black women that can help OUR hair.
Auntie Fumi is really out here showing us that life has only just begun.
They do say that life begins at 40.
YESSSS!
For reallll❤
So proud of you Fumi for losing the weight and going back to natural! What another exciting move in life!

Yes girls! Let’s get rid of the idea that black hair is rough and tough!!! It is delicate and needs love and care to flourish 🥰

Wow Fumi,
This is is lovely.
Lauryn Hill came on tv (Ex Factor) the rest is history, I have locs now and I haven't looked back, Its on my channel, my journey I started with very little and now its really coming along, It's low maintenance, no stress and I've gone back to my roots too!!
