    This man is really a very pure hearted person. Inspite of facing so many problems he is so cool. Still recommending this vehicle to everyone. This will be a deal breaker for so many customers. Hope TATA motors take note of this and train their dealers all over India.

    What ever issues this gentleman faced would have been a deal breaker for me. I’ve been driving Honda’s for the past 10 yrs. apart from a simple punctures I’ve never faced any issues.

      It will cost only around 4_5 lakh Rs for two ev chargers for petrol pump owners which is very fare in comparison to their earnings.

    I own ZS ev, i never faced any kind of problems in my car, I think ZS is best choice over Nexon EV, yes it's bit expensive but it is worth it

    When the video started, I was like wow, I can consider EV as my next car.. but by middle of the video, that idea had to be dropped. This Gentleman just broke all myths and showed the true issues a real user would face. I am sticking to ICE cars that too Maruti for my next one till other players are strongly established.

    Very nice review. He has just pointed out Tata's dealership and service experience and service also. I was looking for a Harrier but i wont buy any Tata car till Tata revamps its service quality.

      Same here … me too was planning to buy Nexon Ev Max XZ Plus Lux with 7.2 KW Fast Charger which would cost me around ₹22.30 lakhs in my region .. so now I am little feared after hearing this Gentleman review.

      @@AbhiSingh-fn8uh Actually, avoid newly launched cars for at least a year or two. Seems like the Indian market is spitting out low-quality, half-assed cars at customers and demanding a steep price. Either that parts quality and personnel have dwindled.

    The guy is proactive in every situation he expresses, be it planning trips or before buying knowledge or getting seperate meter for charging at home.
    People who are more laid back and relaxed nature doesn't care about planning so much when they want to drive a car. They will be unhappy for sure with the car.
    I think EVs still have a long way to go to be fit for everyone.

    I think no matter how good the product is, if its after sales service, service quality , parts availability and service network is not good to maintain a car for at least up to the loan period like 5-7 years. it all really matters when a common man invest lakhs of hard earn money to buy a car for his family. Reliable low maintenance and peace of mind experience owing a car. that's a big deal breaker i would say. i owned TATA nano once and i had to sell this car in under 3 years due to their service quality which i actually never wanted to on that the exchange price they offered was a real pain. once i had a central locking relay problem and they could not arranged it for a car just 3 years old. they just wake up next day and discontinue their car without thinking about the customers. it makes a huge difference in considering a product that a company itself cant maintain it. people say Honda, Maruti and Toyota don't make good cars but the truth is they actually make car reliable cars. people complain about safety and plastic quality u go and check these cars aged 5-7 years even with that build and plastic quality those cars looks and drives gets handsome resale value. its only because of their service quality, customer satisfaction, and service networks. that makes them so future proof. NO doubt TATA makes good car but these people have to go a long way understanding things that if u service a low quality build car well it will run ages than a good build car serviced worst.

    Unable to charge my nexon
    Tried everything by realeasing the lock liver above the wheel, handbrake etc yet it says connected only. Unable to charge now

    As a fellow Nexon EV owner, I can confirm that Tata's service quality is absolutely pathetic.
    Car has completed 7000km & has front suspension issue on driver's side. Portable charger overheats and does not charge the car to 100%. Meanwhile, Tata's sales rep pitches me extended warranty on a car with extended warranty and outright lies to me by saying Nexon EV has 1 year warranty on car (instead of 3). Tata needs to seriously up their game or they will be slaughtered by the competition of upcoming, reliable EVs.

      I had an annual service and paid 11K for tigor, oil & filter and some small consumable parts change and all this was recommended by Tata. after a month of service went to a local shop fof denting work, asked mechanic to drain oil and it was all black oil after running just 300km. I asked him to do full service and paid only 4K.
      That denting work tata was asking 15K not panel change just denting, which was done by local shop in 2.5K with repainting. Watta loot by this company. They have profit-sharing with authorised service centers, so its beter to get service from outside as soon as ur car is out of warranty.
      however, EV owners are stuck with them only so if nearby service center is bad then u r stuck with them forever. Else sell it.

      TATA is very careless about handling their dealers who spoil the show. TATA dont respond to customer grievance. I too own an EV of Tata. 😓

      @@girisanviswanathan7225 Agreed. The car is great. It's silent, it's efficient and I've never been disappointed with the range either. I'm just highly disappointed with the service and the fact that Tata isn't even *trying* to work on it's flaws, just riding the high of their sales.

    With these thoughts he is still recommending the product. I don't think in today's time when u have so much options we need to go for a car which has so much service issues. He also said suspension was changed...Whatttt...is it acceptable in 2nd service??
    Petrol ka paisa save karke, family ko cab se bheja, khud can se gaya and din bhar highway pe khada raha, u have paid a lot my friend. Thanks for sharing this...I am thankful that I purchased a bigger Creta SXO instead of Nexon EV. It was in my top list some time back

    No offense to him or anyone else facing issues with Nexon,
    It's typical tata experience and if you feel disappointed because of that, then you need to rethink your expectations..
    They have a reputation of poor reliability and bad service response for a reason..it's because of 15-20 years of customers complaining
    Not some anti tata campaign which was sponsored by China or pakistan

    Same problem happened with my Nexon EV Max but after service, Must say their Road side Assistance is very bad, I waited for around i was waiting for around 6-7 hrs with my family near Pune. They really don't have any clue. But overall a great car if u drive EV and after that if u drive the ICE u can feel that immediate difference. Anyone who is planning to buy the car just go for it you wont regret the decision.

    A nexon owner suffered almost the same fate on jaipur delhi route. Their review is either on dds or man and motor channel. These service related issues are not restricted to Tata's EV only, their ICE cars also suffer because of service issues. Any car is at the end of the day a machine and machines can fail, that's not an issue but the after sales service has to match the product to gain the trust of the people. This is the reason why companies like Maruti & Hyundai sell so many cars because they have built a trust through their brilliant after sales service (yes, they do lack build quality), even though Tata has the superior build & offer better bang for buck than many of their counterparts.

    The incident the customer has shared does fall under the quality of service experience - not a good sign. Tata motors are sitting on a huge growth potential but unfortunately these gaps are letting them down. Hope they do justice to the good product line they have

    Yes it is true, their service is lacking. But i will say having used most brand cars in India. Service is poor from most dealerships!!!
    Because our consumer forums and courts are over burdened and useless!
    Plus there is major parts shortage in all companies as of today!

      Personally i only have experience with Honda and Hyundai and I absolutely love their service. Fortunately I never had to avail road assistance, but whenever I had a complaint regarding something in the car, their people always resolved it within 24 hours. Recently my creta's paint started fading. It's a 2017 model. It's been almost 5 years since I bought the car, so obviously it was out of warranty, and yet they fixed the colour without charging anything. This was the only time when I had to give my car for more than a day.

      Not true. Using a VW here and so far I have good experience not only with their after sale service but the road side assistance as well. If I had to go through what this man had to with Tata I would have sold the car in a heartbeat.

    Good review, very realistic. I don't have EV car, but have EV two wheeler (Ola Scooter). Looks like EV market is still getting matured, so starting with EV bike is safer than car. If going for EV car, do all research and have backups plans ready because dealers are still not upto the mark.
    Keeping yourself up to date is the best option for EV owners.

    The amount of car Tata is selling is good, but if they don’t focus on service after 3-5 years when their current vehicles ll start giving problem customer ll go max on them which ll impact their future sales and stocks

    Seeing this review I am totally disappointed with the service of the dealers of the TATA EV which is very discouraging. Tata should consider strict quality control & service by their dealers. We can't blame Rata Tataji for this There may be idiots whom that innocent person may be trusting. If EV is the future of India maybe hydroelectric or solar as per our dynamic Minister Mr Gadkari ( if he isn't fooling people) to go green and then raise the price of the power shouldn't be a concern to the users of the EV vehicles. The service provided by the dealers of Tata Motors is a big concern because it's Indian Mentality "Kuch Bhi Karo chalega, bas paisa kamana hai". If the dealers are truly professional this situation will not arise. I'm interested in purchasing an EV but the attitude of the dealers is disgusting and not encouraging. This person is truly sincere too in his comments. At a Service Station when I take my SUV for service the Service Advisor tells me what he has done for me at a reduced labour rate and what service has been done to my SUV because he is more particular about the tips rather than the service of my SUV. Unless Indians change their attitude and mind and system of working, it's difficult to achieve what our great PM says.

    Even we faced a similar issue with Nexon due to DPF issue. Mechanics never came from the RSA, pathetic service from TATA. We never got the second fob key too

    Amazing review. He shared exact real thing happening in terms of dealership and service of Tata. They really have worst service ever. I own Tiago and I have also faced very bad service experience for more than 3-4 times.

    Customer care or initial point of contact of RSA needs to be improved.
    His issue was resolved in 5 mins by service centre.
    If someone from RSA would have given serious approach at 1st level and help him on urgent basis he could have managed to attend marriage also.

      I got separate meter for my ev max expected to be delivered either on 24th July or 2nd Aug.
      EV meter has to be applied online, if you want to do everything on own then it's lengthy process and as Mr. Navnath rightly said MSEB staff don't know anything about EV meter.
      I appointed an agent who did online application to installation for me.

      Bro the sports mode is merc c class ke sport + mode ko takkar dene wala, so much pickup … feels amazing. As far as speed is concerned it’s 120km/ hr capped . Works for most people as it’s a decent speed even on highways

    Guy is speaking truth. Tata products are good but their service is pathetic. I recently visited tata showroom for Nexon Ev and none at the showroom had any technical knowledge. I had more details about the product. This is deal breaker.

    I got the nexon ev on Feb 2022, drove 8000 km On 1.5₹/km with the ev, I have a merc c class which runs at 8₹/km with average of 12 km /litre petrol . So I saved 6.5₹/km on 8000kms which is approx 52000₹ In just 5 months. No service problem and a solid product with 5 star safety. My own mother, 3 aunts and 1 cousin got into an accident with 3 somersaults of nexon diesel and all were saved only because of the built quality and 5 star safety rating. Had it been a Maruti or a Hyundai my mother won’t be Alive today so I trust Tata more than anything in this ev game . Ev is the future and the nexon ev is for the tech savvy’s and ev positive people like me. Naysayers won’t live for long as Ev’s are the real game changers , ask a man who invested 50k ₹ in the stock market which he would have burned on petrol with his merc . Tata is awesome !

    please make a video on how to submit application to local state Electricity company ex MSEDCL, getting a 22 KW AC home charger installed etc. Without Charging info, reviewing EV car is not useful. Without having fast home charge at least 15 KW or above, buying an EV is not useful.
