....and Don Henley and Phil Collins and... Im sure I take for granted being a musician & that self accompaniment on drums is fairly easy. In fact its the best place for any musician to begin because unlike training half your brain to continue a melody or move to the next chord in alignment with lyrics, playing drums is reflexive But piano or any stringed instrument?? Ive been playing e. bass & 7 piece drums 23 years & it is STILL difficult for me, above a moderate tempo. Doesnt matter how well I know the lyrics or the melody I'm playing on guitar to compliment my vocal part. My brain cant handle it 🤯 Oh well, those who can, can. (Self accompany) Those that dont just become better instrumentalists! 😉
No tears required for our relative native kola Robbie Robertson…🪶🦅 He’s crossed over that Ole Crippled Creek on the back of the Eagle A’ho … Waste Lola
Sorry to burst your bubble, they were all but 1 from Canada,Ontario to be exact,Rick Robbie,Garth,Richard just a few miles from where I live, In Ontario Canada Norfolk County
Far be it from me to second-guess Scorsese or anything, but I don't think it would've harmed the movie any to have kept in that bit with Garth going all Phantom of the Opera around @2:00.
Heading to my uncles funeral. He loved Dylan, I love The Band
Might have been the last waltz, but a lot of us, the dance continues.
It was Robbie’s last waltz nor the others.
R.I.P. Robbie Robertson - and of course Richard Manuel, Rick Danko, Levon Helm
The greatest five musicians in Rock and Roll
Singing lead and playing drums together .......like flying 2jets at the same. time .... Levon did this as easily as breathing ! Wow! Just wow......
....and Don Henley and Phil Collins and...

Don Brewer-Grand Funk Railroad Peter Riverra-Rear Earth
Actually Levon said in an interview that it was easier singing while he played drums.
Add Karen Carpenter to this list also

Levon was a Great drummer! And a damn good singer😊
Can you imagine the energy on that stage that night
what a voice Levon had . WOW
Truly beautiful.
Yep. Like flying 2 jets. He never ceases to WOW, just completely WOW me.
The Band war eine großartige Band
What a band❤What a sound ❤never be a group like them again ❤Thanks for the music,,,RIP
They were one of the best Bands to come out of Canada in 1967.
Levon helm was born and raised in arkansas, my home state
To see a band, especially The Band, just making it seem so easy, is magical!
Missing them all like hell!!!!!💟
RIP Robbie . . . 😢

Another masterpiece from the best band ever, Robbie is jamming with Leon in rock heaven.
I hope so because they Hated each other on planet earth.
They were bullteproof at that time. The range, the voice, arrangement, backup vocals. Perfection.
Nothing like his singing and playing.
Great voice.
It just doesn't get any better than this!!!
Super tight. Definitive live performance.
This will exist forever🤗
They will NEVER be another BAND like them ever again❤.
Just might be my favourite song ever!
i saw an interview with the groupie this is about.. well, as long as she had fun. she still has fond memories of it all!
My little Bessie told me: this is the humble band I ever hear. All canadians and very good musicians, cool fact.❤(from Jujuy,Argentina)
Levon was American.
True Americana music from the hills of Appalachian countryside.
Sorry to burst your bubble, they were all but 1 from Canada,Ontario to be exact,Rick Robbie,Garth,Richard just a few miles from where I live, In Ontario Canada Norfolk County
Levon was the coolest dude on the planet. Love his voice.
Much respect for Levon Helm
I forgot how good levon was!
Love them all are gone except one. Sad.
The Band was just that.... none better.
RIP - Robbie Robertson
My fav
RIP, Robbie🎶
Well deserving of the Lable ( The Band )
Levon was pretty cool in the "SHOOTER" movie...the gun expert, great acting but his Singing and Drumming was TOPS
Mr. Rate in the "Shooter," he wasn't well then.
@@jimlance583 What a MEMORABLE character he played in that movie..but even more in Real Life.
Plays drums not looking at them as he sings into the microphone. And he was an actor too, a good one.
whoever spliced the raw footage with Scorsese should win the Nobel
Levon got screwed and Robbie thought he'd live forever. Dylan keeps quiet.
Garth steals this song, that clavinet 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
that was insane
Yes, insanely awesome, indeed!
Far be it from me to second-guess Scorsese or anything, but I don't think it would've harmed the movie any to have kept in that bit with Garth going all Phantom of the Opera around @2:00.
Fuckin awesome
🤘
Yodel Yodel Hoo!
😇🎶😇🎶😇🎶
Who doesnt want to be like Levon Helm?
Never cared much for Robbie, but I truly enjoyed Levon and Rick!
Why not ,let me guess you don't like Aboriginal performers, the band would not be the band without Robbie Robertson who is from the Mohawk Nation.
Wrong guess, it's well known that Robbie didn't share the wealth of the music royalties.@@NeshkayLudgePiig
