5:04 That is the tighest pocket ever played in human history. No doubt locking in that 2 and 4 snare for the pasic crowd. Damn. The clarity and density of that notation over tight pocket is the best Ive heard. GOAT
I had the chance to see him live in two concerts with Eros Ramazzotti. He had this drum kit... and he sounded incredible live. I also talked to Eric a few minutes before his soundcheck. He's a super cool guy, friendly and down to earth
Such an amazing drummer. One of the fastest I've ever seen and never seems to lose a step. I saw him playing live with Suicidal Tendencies of all people years ago and my jaw was on the floor. When he came out on TH-cam I thought to myself, that's the dude! One of the most incredible live performances I've ever seen on drums
For heaven's sake! If he's not an alien then he ought to be a robot. My gosh! Taste, groove, power and... speed, the highest speed I've ever noticed. Thanks for sharing.
This guy is my new hero, I’ve been in a slump for a while and now I have just found a light at the end of my dark tunnel , thank you so very much 👍🙏 and please stay healthy.
Same. I was in sort of a slump, but then Eric came along and I just had no idea what he was doing. It was all so new to me. He’s easily in the world’s top 5 right now.
You’re the best in the world! No, you’re the best ever! I never saw anyone better than you at playing drums! I just can’t believe my eyes and ears! Bravo times 10 billion!!!
Love watching you play. You just have a pure joy about you behind the kit that is infectious. Can't help but be happy watching you! Keep up the amazing work! Peace!
My Lord at 4:46-5:17 I believe just smoke!!!I love watching Eric he has such joy while he plays and seems he’s just wanting people to have a good time as well....Great player!!!
The way they accent the drum and how it fits with the groove, rock and metal is more of a speed and power game, funk gospel and jazz is generally more finessed and dynamic.
No Doubt my friend. I have 2 I use. A piccolo snare and a regular, if I could find a place for my deep snare would love it. But you for sure no about those church snares. Maybe its just the place we really notice. I also have a brand new Alesis Electronic Set with rack, double bass, I have tried to get that church snare sound on them I'm so close with the tuning, adjusting the pitch nope still havent found it. Now I no what I'm going to do today. Mr. Eric Moore keeps flashing those killer DopeStickz while playing still not out yet, can't wait I think he is tauntinge with those In every video. have a great day stay safe out there. and have a great weekend. you dawsonw128 will be put in my prayers tonight. 😎🤝🤝🤜🤛👍👆☝🥁🥁🥁🥁🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😇
How can these people be so composed watching Eric Play!?!?!? If I were there, I’d definitely lose it!! 😂😂😂 this man never fails to impress and improve! ☝🏽💯👌🏽
Because it sounds so good. Absolutely going into my drum clinic playlist on my TH-cam. So smooth, killer beats, make it look so easy & smooth. Will definately be doing some homework, and a few lessons for more advanced kids for there practice lesson, little at a time, love being able to slow it down but not slow enough for this ol Hillbilly now a days.
I just took my drums out back and lit them on fire, which enabled me to melt my cymbals into the form of an “I’m not worthy trophy” which I FedExed to Eric’s house, with a note apologizing for ever having thought I was a good drummer.
That was so cool in the beginning when he had a slick back beat then started into. Long fill/solo, but kept the back beat going through it all. Very nice
Lol I ain’t gone lie I be wanting Eric moore drum set I can’t wait to get my drum set I’m on every video the fills is elite the switch ups an how you allow everything to start off going into the different strokes is crisp ash really look up to this man for drumming definitely in my top 3
My response is, why does a guitar have so many frets? Why does a keyboard have so many keys? Why does a singer use so many lyrics? Why does a painter use so many colors? I honestly hate that question. Drummers dont need 4 cymbals, thats just boring. Just like a 4 color painting is boring.
@@FanaticDrummer Not necassarilly. Lots of black and white art is very appealling. My belief is that you need to be able to make use of black and white before you can make use of colors. The same for guitar and keys and piano. Be able to play with 6 strings first, be able to play with 40 keys first be able to color shade and draw with black and white first then you can move on. It's not a stupid question to ask: "Why does he have so many cymbals?" Because the answer can give you a broad perspective on the drummers style, the music he plays and how he utilizes it in the music he's playing. I don't ask other people but I ask my self many times, in Funk how would I use my stacks how would I use my crash? How many cymbals do I have, if I don't have many how many different sounds can I produce with them. So on and so forth, so sometimes you should have a conversation with yourself or another enthusiast friend with the concrete hard love for music about these things.
Damn... dude has pretty much mastered control over the freagin drum set. As a guitarist, I can only hope that one day I get to play with a drummer with a fraction of Eric Moorell's talent. Kudos bro! It's always fun watching and hearing your grooves.
This old hillbilly loving your drumming, what electronics are being used would like to no. And the bass drum pedal being used. Very smooth playing man sounds incredible, great hand and foot speed, effortless. But I can tell lots of practice. I preach it several times during the week. Now I have another great drummer to show why you should practice regularly, to be like you Best of the Best. 😎🎼🎵🎵🎵🎶🥁🥁🥁🥁🤘👍🤝☝🙏🙏🙏🙏
Not that I care about likes and dislikes, but I can understand why someone could dislike this (they are not feeling it and no, speed and a clean performancd is not feel) - that was not always the case though, many years I was wondering about people and their taste..

One of the few drummers that whenever a new video shows up, you’re better than the last one...always progressing, so inspiring. Thank you E.M.

I wish I could meet this dude. I’ve been listening to him for years. Hes no joke on those drums!
Man he just blows my mind.
What grace, feel and tone.
Went back watching this again. Them drum tones plus the right amount of reverb, perfection!
I had the chance to see him live in two concerts with Eros Ramazzotti. He had this drum kit... and he sounded incredible live. I also talked to Eric a few minutes before his soundcheck. He's a super cool guy, friendly and down to earth
The drums sound amazing. We need a tuning video!
Aside from the absolute ASTOUNDING level of virtuous playing, Eric’s high hat game is one of, if nit the greatest I’ve ever seen.
It’s just insane!

Eric your chops are insane my friend!! Just wow 😮
The crack of that 8 inch tom sounds kinda cool actually.
i'm sure it's X or vlx ply wood :) the pitch is low than a normal 8"
My Lord at 4:46-5:17 I believe just smoke!!!I love watching Eric he has such joy while he plays and seems he’s just wanting people to have a good time as well....Great player!!!
I love how the 8 inch Tom sounds like a bongo🔥❤️

Protect this man at all costs! Holy. Hell! Amazing!
Why funk and gospel players always gotta have the tastiest snare? 🤤
No pressure
they crank it

🤯wth did i just watched!? This guy is one insanely great drummer! Holy crap! Dude! You incredible!👌😎👍mad skills 👏
5:04 is the most insane thing I’ve ever heard. The fills and all that are amazing but that hi hat work is just ridiculous.
Maybe this just become my inspiration. So much precision!

You one in a milli....thumbs up...
Todo el poder la fuerza ..sin dudas zarpadisimooooo..!!

Wow hats off. Real nice!
Such a great sounding kit my Lord....
People who disliked got no idea what drumming is!
Where you ever on a stage performing music?
I'm a junkie and this got me hooked on EM!
Chris Coleman, and Eric Moore are the best drummers ever. 🎶🎵🎼
Careful there. Maybe for the genre they play. I respect your opinion though!
Great eric, an ideal mix of tecnique and musicality
5:35 that sounded so sick , eric is what is inspiring.
WHAT A BEAST!
What a monster! Incredible!
Numero uno .. mostruoso..
His drumming language is absolutely slick.
Im watching this with a word in my head saying:
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU
