    No way Destiny is gonna make something as big as the daily wire. The right hate him for his unhinged fireman tweets and the left hate him for his pro Israel arguments. I enjoy destiny's debates but I just don't see how he can grow much at this point as a political commentator.
    But Dylans burns is great though. I like his coverage of the Ukraine War where he brings awareness of Russias war crimes and the struggles of the Ukrainian people. I look forward to seeing where he goes as a journalist.

    • @shockwavesyndrome6433
      @shockwavesyndrome6433 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Let’s be real, Dylan burns isn’t popular because nobody online cares about actual war journalism. They want to be entertained by saying anyone who is “a Russian shill” or whatever is a “ traitor” and chortle. Destiny is popular because his entire channel is based on debating against whatever is currently popular. Notice how maybe 1/10 of every video he made from 2021-2022 was about conservatives. That was his anti lefty grift. Lately it’s all anti conservative and pretty much just anti hasan. And magically it’s the opposite. I’d say the conservatives were far more radical in 2021 than they are now, so hmm I wonder why he didn’t cover them. Could it be they weren’t popular then. Couldn’t be.

    Does Destiny really live a nihilist/hedonist lifestyle? I don't really understand how he approaches relationships with women, but the guy does seem to care about his health, working out, eating a decent diet. Doesn't really seem that nihilist hedonist to me.

    • @OoooshetriesSs
      @OoooshetriesSs 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      U don’t necessarily have to not take care of urself to not be a hedonist… actually know quite a few who are pretty active… it just means u don’t hold back when it comes to indulging…
      But; think about it.. some of that indulgence comes with physical activity.:: even if it’s not sex..: there def an adrenaline aspect in some cases… also, alotta hedonist including myself who may not be sexually active… partake in things like rope & other physical activities in scene (b*sm) which leads to this crazy rope to rock climbing pipeline
      Super rigorous stuff..
      Which tends to let u eat whatever u want..
      Also… a lot of hedonist… atleast moral hedonist… idk how to say this put.. they don’t get easily stressed about alotta things..
      Thing just kinda roll off..
      Stress pumps out cortisol which will hoard fat… lowering ur stress (by any means) will allow u to lose weight even if ur not trying…
      Kinda what happened to me… I’m eating the most/am the healthiest I ever have been but am the thinnest I’ve ever been 💀
      Everyone is different… & maybe hedonism as oppose to trying to stick to a “restrictive lifestyle” just..: may effect some different more than others:::
      I think you really just gotta see what works for u. Everyone is different …
      But::: destiny isn’t the best example of a chill hedonist… granted.: I mean.. he takes things pretty well in stride considering…
      (Like the recent leak of him hookin up)
      Def handles it better than most.

    • @nehriim3748

    • @LizStaples
      @LizStaples 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think Destiny started taking his health more seriously in more recent time, I could be wrong but I doubt he was healthy eating/gym kinda guy back in his StarCraft days.
      I also feel like we have seen Destiny go thru a long and delayed “quarter life crisis” that he is just now really coming out the other side of.
      Being highly focused on peak physical condition can be done in a hedonistic way or it can be a form of asceticism (denial of physical or psychological pleasure). Think eating well versus dieting, or exercise as play opposed to penance or duty, and how conceptualization can shift action and outcomes in various ways.
      Hedonism is also a pretty loose term, and can have connotations in some usage and not necessarily in others. Like the word Luxurious, it is one of those words that kinda goes on context clues and vibes to really convey what it means.

    There is a balance between funny and being a political pundit. You wont build a brand as a political streamer if your not funny/entertaining. Allot of these breadtube kinda streamers didnt build a brand, they just talked their politics. Which kinda results into the effect that if the political wind blows the other way, you basicly fall off.
    This is also why actual centrists, liberals and socdems where almost rare to see a couple of years ago on youtube(like big ones). Because while all those groups have their own agenda it is not cool as flipping the board and saying "i got this extreem idee, its communism, anrcho capitalism or fascism." Aka they are boring. And legacy media is dying, because listening to andrew tate or Destiny is way more entertaining. So build a brand as a streamer and being a political pundit is second. Or you can become a waiting room streamer that basicly leeches off Hasan.

    Very good summary.
    It may be too much speculation for this, but I think the amount of controversy (or revelations of his character) that has stemmed from Destinys' never ending dramas is directly affecting his ability to make real world change.
    No matter how effective his political arguments are, it's very difficult to adopt the world-view of a cuck who abandoned his kid and seems unable to stop himself from trading in friendships for clicks. If we can assume that our actions stem from our political views, then no matter the arguments he makes, something must be wrong with those stances.

    Chud Logic may have stopped being a political ocmmenator but he still feels the need to bring up his politics in his new content.
    thats whyy i tend to not like him that much compared to other drama commentary channels.
    i watch coommentary youutubers to get away form that sort of thing as i feel bringing up your ppolitics adds nothing to the video unlesss it's about actual polotical topics.

      Laughing at transpeople is not political.

      Big Dawg, Chudamire is a variety streamer, who talks about the small number of subjects he feels comfortable talking about, while making observational humor; of course, the funniest subjects will cover have, wacky thoughts they ware, bring up in tone, articulation and spoken word nonstop, that he has to address to observe and jest at as his occupation really not too dissimilar to convos irl, that doesn't mean its political, it just contains trace abouts of political elements like everything else in good media. On all the stuff to get him on, that's just a made-up claim.
