Hi! Thanks a lot for this video! I had the same issue and also a TPMS problem, car randomly lost the tyre pressure datas and not able to recheck them. I spent more than a year to find what the heck did this issue, replaced the sensors several times, teached them, but no luck, car always failed to read the datas from the tyres. Sometimes it find them by itselft, but only for a week...
After i bought the battery for the Emergency Call system and replaced it by myselft thanks to this video, seemsly the tyre pressure issue is also gone! Will se it in 2 weeks (test period :P) but according to some BMW and TPMS expert this battery has no connection to the TPMS system. BUt what if...

This worked for me, i followed a different tutorial which showed how to get to that battery compartment. I used bimmerlink to reset error and it didnt come back
was it easy to reset with bimmerlink after replacing the battery ?

Or u can order from any spare parts supplier with ur car chassis number
Does the code need to be reset with OBD after changing the battery? Did your error go away straight away after changing the battery or had to drive for a while?
Yea some cases it will disappear by its own and some need to be reset by obd tools.

I changed the battery but it didn’t erase the code unfortunately
Just try to go to any workshop and ask them to reset the fault code. Once reset no more message. Let me if u need any further assistance

U just need to use OBD tools to reset the fault code, in some cases it disappears after changing the battery and in some need to reset the fult code.
