You counter Trundle with CC and heal cut, heal cut and cc does nothing to K'Sante, not to mention the damage it has, fucking Mundo and Sion have to sacrficie 2 item slots if they want damage, K'Sante builds pure resistances and you're good to go, fuck that champ

My team was losing hard and my Trundle jungle decided to split. needless to say he almost finished the game because he destroyed towers in like 10 seconds at most and it wasn't even that late into the game. Sadly he died when their nexus was like 200 hp and the enemy finished the game but still, he's an insane split pusher right now

For most toplane champs (excluding here tanks) that is the only viable playstyle to turn a game if the other lanes are behind. Draw pressure to either secure solo gold and map tempo, or draw the enemies attention to you so your team can secure objectives.

Tried it, worked well. Enemy grouped at drake while I was at T2. Big mistake took 4 turrets and ended the game. Team helped cancel their backs. Demolisher trundle
I wouldn’t even say that jax or teemo counter trundle with his r. With both their q and e you *dont* have to auto attack them. You can drop a w, or e, and reposition away (from jax e) or run up and sit on teemos face with e w and wait out q.
the only problem is the cd. Teemo q cd is incredibly low so he'll always have it up in lane. Makes the lane very hard to play against the poke. I think the best way to counter it is to survive lane to get tiamat and then proxy. Pillar disengages any chase and tiamat lets you clear waves fast enough to proxy. Jax e cd is abusable in lane, but not abusable later on in the game when he'll have it up every 5 seconds. So naturally jax will outscale and win hard in the sidelane.
Trundle may have a hard time against Trynda, he can push as fast as Trundle, play side for the entire game and becomes imortal for 5 seconds meaning that any armor steal in ult won't will make any difference
@@matheusbaker619 I don't think trundle loses to tryn at all. Don't you just kite tryn when he ults? You can just pillar him to get away or q him to slow and run away with w. Trundle ult is also good for surviving since you get armor. If both trundle and tryn don't have ult, trundle wins just based on his raw stats with q + w. So kite out tryn ult and it's a free lane.
The thing that makes teemo a hard counter to trundle is his kiting. Any teemo with a brain will kite using shrooms so trundle cant touch him and when he does he gets blinded. Plus the ad steal doesnt matter as much if you're AP

gotta say, an effective counter I've used a few times against split pusher is Phase Rush Vladimir, who obliterates the wave and just runs away from any bruiser/splitpush champ with Ghost + Phase Rush + Nimbus Cloak + W pool
You will still have to make a choice as you don't have TP. Use your high late game power to melt squishies and fight team fights or defend the permanent push of Trundle who will take your base in less than 2 minutes.
I just destroyed a trundle in lane and he was still able to almost kill me 1v1 while he was 1/7 and 50 cs behind and I was 8/2, Gangplank vs Trundle. He then proceeded to split to melt towers in top and nobody could do anything including myself. It's like he did not even feel the effects of losing/dying/playing bad. There is something really wrong with him and not in the "fun" broken way. I have this problem with Garen sometimes too but this was like 5x worse.

Played 14 games of trundle today. Won 12 of them, by playing split pushing and opening the enemy top and bot lanes. Ofcourse, I’m only a lowly bronze, now, but I’m hoping to get gold before the end of the season, by spamming trundle.

I was doing this years ago, back in probably season 7 or something. Just running down the enemy and pushing top, sometimes bot. It applies immense pressure, and no one can 1v1 Trundle if they're not crazy fed. Especially not assassins who use their gap closers to get to you. I can't tell you the amount of times I've gotten a kill within the first one or two minutes of laning with Trundle. He is way too strong in my opinion. His Q single handedly makes him the best split pusher in the game. Bonus AD, lowers damage output of enemies, AA reset and a brief slow on top of all that. And his W just helps to make him even better. There is not a single season where I have played Trundle and felt like he was below S tier.

But after the rework he was not the same, so I looked for alternatives. Trundle turned out to be the best option, and he has been my favorite main for about 4 years now. Everything that appears in the video is true, and I learned it on my own, I only disagree, Teemo is not a great counter, he is very vulnerable. Jax or Fiora may be a bigger problem, this video needs to be adapted to the latest changes in the game, but it is very useful for those looking to learn how to use it. Without a doubt it is the most practical and easy way to destroy the enemy base, you will even see yourself winning games on your own despite having everything against you.
i've seen a lot of trundle tops out of nowhere no wonder but they all throw... Im emerald top laner renekton main. Emerald is not some peak of skill i understand. But tell me how trundle top would ever be good when he can only trade one Q for my full combo. He wins late but its an impossible laning phase i think.
When Renekton attempts to engage with a full combo, trundle should use Q to lower his attack damage. While doing this, utilize W and E to chase and trade .
Lethal temp doesn't help you with splitpushing. Bone plating doesn't give you the scaling you need. You either go fleet footwork, phase rush, unsealed spellbook or grasp. Conditioning and unflinching are a MUST in secondary, if you really struggle vs ranged poke you can consider second wind. Starting from midagme you want to start double soaking, ignore teamfights, even with soul on enemy team they can't match you depending on the comp. If mvspd drakes, consider contesting. If you lose your duels in lane & can't put pressure on the lane, you can opt to go for better scaling itemization or avoid the lane by proxying and taking mid+jungle. That way you will force your mid out of lane & probably relieve some pressure off botlane and imrove the odds there, making you win by macro. Hydra, hull, gargoyle into mythic is standard buildpath. Gauntlet is an option if you get pressured or ganked often, trinity is an option if you have an easy lane and win early. Other good items are wits end and death's dance. Rotate your champion pool with shyvana (AD), Trundle, zac (AS), fizz (off-tank) and lucian (tank). Obviously there are more options but your main focus is: escapes & tower pushing potential. AP champs with attackspeed push fastest, auto attack resets are also good. AP scales worse into lategame but offers clutch picks. AD scales and offers carry potential. Best escapes are trundle and shyvana, best kiting & wasting time on enemy is tank fizz. Fastest towerkill potential is AP shyvana, AD shyvana has the best waveclear & can easily double soak. With these champs it's preferable not to take ghost since you can outrun most champs (like singed) even if they pop ghost. I'm not sure if this works in all elos, I only play this in masters EUW. HF!
My main Shen fell off since Q nerf, so I went to learning OP top laners for split pushing and breaching. Tonight I played my first trundle game into kayle and ran into enemy jg lvl 1 and almost killed their hec until the mid laner and top laner roamed and killed me (ignoring one and a half waves of cs). I teleported back in and ran at the hecarim again and died again a the top laner ignored 2 waves again to roam lol. I won that game 1-7 and the one kill was from the hecarim trying to solo me late game thinking that because i was 0-3 first 5 mins and he had several kills, it would be easy. Enemy team wiped my team and started doing drake while I took out a T1 turret, inhibt and both nexus turrets before their nexus, all before theyy proccessed what was happening lol. At their nexus turrets, their Lux support was spamming all her skills trying to stop me but I literally just ignored her and ate the structures hahaha, Trundle OP.

Garen also works for this. Illaoi is especially weak to this, you can even bait her R like that so she's completely weak there.

He hard wins anybody lvl 1 lol , u lose prio and exp for the first 3 waves and even renekton’s lane is done

That way you will force your mid out of lane & probably relieve some pressure off botlane and imrove the odds there, making you win by macro.
Hydra, hull, gargoyle into mythic is standard buildpath. Gauntlet is an option if you get pressured or ganked often, trinity is an option if you have an easy lane and win early. Other good items are wits end and death's dance.
Rotate your champion pool with shyvana (AD), Trundle, zac (AS), fizz (off-tank) and lucian (tank). Obviously there are more options but your main focus is: escapes & tower pushing potential. AP champs with attackspeed push fastest, auto attack resets are also good. AP scales worse into lategame but offers clutch picks. AD scales and offers carry potential. Best escapes are trundle and shyvana, best kiting & wasting time on enemy is tank fizz. Fastest towerkill potential is AP shyvana, AD shyvana has the best waveclear & can easily double soak. With these champs it's preferable not to take ghost since you can outrun most champs (like singed) even if they pop ghost.
I'm not sure if this works in all elos, I only play this in masters EUW.

My main Shen fell off since Q nerf, so I went to learning OP top laners for split pushing and breaching. Tonight I played my first trundle game into kayle and ran into enemy jg lvl 1 and almost killed their hec until the mid laner and top laner roamed and killed me (ignoring one and a half waves of cs). I teleported back in and ran at the hecarim again and died again a the top laner ignored 2 waves again to roam lol. I won that game 1-7 and the one kill was from the hecarim trying to solo me late game thinking that because i was 0-3 first 5 mins and he had several kills, it would be easy. Enemy team wiped my team and started doing drake while I took out a T1 turret, inhibt and both nexus turrets before their nexus, all before theyy proccessed what was happening lol. At their nexus turrets, their Lux support was spamming all her skills trying to stop me but I literally just ignored her and ate the structures hahaha, Trundle OP.
