Volibear wants to go Grasp and space you with short trades until he can all-in or wombo you. If you take Grasp or anything other than PtA/Lethal Tempo as Trundle you're kinda trolling yourself. Late game, if Voli builds Iceborn and Anathema on you, you can't side vs him anymore. Before then he can match your side but he shouldn't be able to kill you unless you fuck up and if he makes a mistake you just run him down. In early lane try to save your W/E for displacing him/yourself out of his E or to force an all-in after he short trades.
one question: In the mid game if you are looking to get gold is it correct to always play for tier 2 turrets? Because as far as I understand splitpushing correctly means pushing the lane on the opposite side of the next objective, in the best case with TP up. But if for example the next objective is Dragon and the Top Tier 2 turret is gone it's complete grief to go bot and run into the enemies grouping for Dragon no?
Depends on the wavestate, splitpush capability of your champ and your overall team. If ur a daruis u could perfectly help your team in that situation. But as a trundle its generally better to stay in ur lane and pressure tier3 turret. But yeah it all depends on the situation, its hard to tell😊
Depends, if you are champ that can help rotate quickly to the teamfight like darius then you can push the top t2 but if youre a duelist type champ like trundle or fiora then you can try to push tier 3

I will try :) I think arguments are that he still wants to sidelane so his team can get nash when they go and stop hjm,. Also it gives movement speed, which he really needs go catch quinn. The minion buff effect makes it much harder for quinn to kill the wave before it reaches the turret, so he can dive her or get the tower.
Hullbreaker gives a massive threat of ending the game if he is unchecked at all. It forces team to hard respect him or they will lose towers so fast. As you saw he ended the game in seconds after quinn fell. Hullbreaker is also not a terrible team fight only split push item now. It's effects still work when you are not alone in the lane, and it gives an on-hit vs champs not just towers.
Alr maybe this is just my low Elo brain, why tf would you not want that tower plating? It makes sense in my eyes as a Jngler to destroy tower (The main obj of the game), get the plating gold, and possibly get Tier 2 tower with a good top lane, all the meanwhile drag is spawning. Granted, Brand did misplay by running away right after spawning herald, but looking at the map bot lane was already lost, Mid lane was basically even (which means Cho is scaling), I’m failing to see why that would be a bad play when it guarantees that your even top gets more fed Also drake is spawning soon. Meanwhile that herald could have been used mid or bot to get plates that were guaranteed to be uncollected without herald. So it slowed top snowball , while wasting 2 plates either bot or mid that could have been taken with the herald , you not only lose 2 plates for no reason but also slowdown the snowball of your potential win con(which ended up being the win con in that game). there is also match up top , when you face kayle or nasus for example , where you want to delay last plate untill 13m30 -13m55 to deny them even more , of course you dont want to do that versus a quinn.
