Been making my way through the Bond movies for the first time recently, and I found this on sale and picked it up. First deck building game ever, excited to try it

Funny as 1 million u r great to watch, love ya I have every legendary board game and expansion all up to the mutants and I tell u what, this is a great game!!! This is light straight to the point great theme and easy to set up and tear down, it u look closely this one of the best they done, and I don't watch james bond movies but have seen some, need more legendary with villian cards in the heroes pile...Keep up great work.

Haha...great song. I saw "Six Pack" in the theater! And I love me some Sean Connery...but they could have at least kicked in Timothy Dalton for variety.

Oct was a hard month my wife and then Sir Sean Connery. Anyway I loved 007 since Dr. No and wanted this game when it came out and today I bit the bullet and picked it up at a local store which I have supported for some time and with the virus . On top that for every $100 spent you get a $10 discount to which I got I didn't know I already had the discount on my account + a SS check as surviving spouse I decide to something for me. This made the decision even easier to make. Sir Sean's passing must be really hard on you as you and James Bond have very similar career & life styles. Ooops didn't mean to let that slip out.

@@TheDiscriminatingGamer So sorry. I left for work at 10:30 pm got home at 8:30 am this morning. Had to take the 8 Passenger Cargo Van that was so full of COVID-19 that I could not see out my rear window and the back set was full. Some of the coolers were very heavy and I am paying for it today. Three cart loads just to unload. The dogs had me up at 11:00 am so I am exhausted & hurting. Sorry again.

Wow they picked The Man with the Golden Gun to represent the Moore era??? The Spy Who Loved Me, Live and Let Die, and For Your Eyes Only are much better IMO. Even Moonraker and Octopussy would have been better, but I’m sure the choice was largely based on licensing costs. At least I hope so!
I thought that was peculiar as well. The Spy Who Loved Me is my favorite Bond film.
Don’t agree. This has the legend Christopher Lee.
@americantony1 Don't get me wrong - I love Christopher Lee, esp. his Hammer horror stuff w/Peter Cushing. But IMO he (and Moore, and everyone else) was let down big time by the script when it came to Golden Gun. Not his fault for sure.

I doubt it. That's a pretty old game by this point, and I rarely review older games these days, (usually it has to be one I really love and want to talk about). Also, I really can't afford to buy too many games, as I'm a poor student right now, so I'm kind of on the whim of companies willing to offer a review copy. Thanks!

The Legendary games can seem intimidating at first, but they are actually pretty intuitive once you get through learning the basics.
Which one is better 007 or Allien?
No question - Alien. It is Legendary Encounters, which I believe is just a better system generally. But, I suppose, for most people it will come down to theme. Which theme do you enjoy more? They are both great games.
Second the Alien version (or Predator if that's your jam), the theme just fits the mechanic so well.
X-Files is awesome as well
