The flipping another card after a scheme twist/master strike is why I never played the original Legendary games solo. I always played 2-3 players. A)You could get stuck with a horrible recruit layout and B)You could end up with a death spiral quite easily. Also, I think you misplayed that first Chase card. It clearly states ANOTHER card with Chase triggers its ability, not itself. But yea, all the Eva Green please.
Thanks, Scott... Answering again as my first reply disappeared :( But I believe I played the Chase card correctly. It says: After this pushes another card with ITS Chase ability (referring to itself),..., it switches spaces. There is only one more card with chase in the villain deck for "Casino Royale" and this comes in Deck C (so afterwards), so the effect would be pretty useless. Thematically it simply pushes all the other cards from the virtual road :)
Are henchmen considered villains to complete the mission? I thought they were considered different groups. Villains are named and henchmen are groups with “henchmen” listed on the card.
@@realjplay I’ve been playing this on a harder level then lol. What’s weird is some heroes specify villains and others specify henchmen. That’s what made me think it mattered.
Yeah - it’s really weird. In older Legendary games, they used the term „Henchmen Villain“, which is much clearer... But this game is already tough enough :-D
I've got the Legendary Encounters: Alien game, and I love the comic-book style illustrations on those cards. Watching this, I was (at around 12:00) thinking to myself "wow, I don't like these movie stills..." right before you confessed that you prefer them! LOL - I guess I will have to look at that Firefly artwork; it must be truly awful!
Yeah, I know I am pretty alone with my opinion on stills. But if I really like a movie/series franchise I want the real deal and not something re-envisioned by some artists :-) But of course I am also fine with good artwork, which Firefly clearly hasn’t. The only Legendary game I ever gave away...
Someone should mix ALL the Legendary sets and make a video! James Bond,X-Men,Alien,Predator,X-Files,Firefly,Big Trouble in Little China. I mean this has got to be what the designers had in mind ,hasn't it?
Really sounds like an intriguing idea... need to think about that for some time :-D Most likely using a more standard Scheme from the original Legendary and you may need to be careful as some decks, really a good synergy to work.
I would skip this game for all the Judy Dench cards alone. Bernard Lee, Bernard Lee, c'mon! And why oh why are Goldfinger image cards showing up in a Casino Royale villain deck? Blows the theme for me. Psst..."Legendary" is an anagram for "Pandemic".
Nice playthrough! I just got this game so watching you go through a game helped the rules sink in better for me.
Thanks so much! Not entirely sure if I would really recommend the solo rules - I think it's more balanced when playing it dual-handed :)
Great play through. this was my first Legendary game, and my favorite.
Thanks, Andy! Really appreciate your comment and agreed: also my favorite version!
Kudos from RunicNeonTelescope!
Thanks so much!
I may have to look into picking this up for my husband. Thanks for the play through, Markus!
Thanks so much, Stasia! If you enjoy the Legendary system and like the JB franchise, this is a safe bet :)

Wendake, yeah!
Still haven’t played it but it looks damn cool!

Unfortunately they are... it’s listed somewhere in the rules that henchmen are weaker villains.

@@realjplay Another rule is if Judy Dench fills up your entire bottom row, then you automatically lose the game and all future Legendary 007 games.

@@realjplay Haha - wow! - now I REALLY need to see those Firefly cards, lol
@@joelcole161 Looks like combo of Victory Games Jim Talbot and Andy Warhol.

Don't do that to yourself!
No, truly I was thinking about that... might be fun ;-)

I really hear you! But I also quite like Judy Dench.
@@realjplay I'll tune in for your play of Skyfall scenario so I can witness M's demise.
Let’s wait for the „No Time to Die“ scenario ;)
