Something about how over the top King Dragon's voice is until he gets to the name "Dennis" and it's said in the most boring, generic stock voice, but the player just so proudly says "haha, that's me." Fucking perfect.
Lysanderoth is just the best character, honestly. I think my favorite has to be "Yes, it was I! My machinations lay undetected for years, for I am a master of deception!" Then again, that Egg Guy is also pretty great.

You know most "looking back on old content videos" are full of the person feeling bad about it and seeing all their mistakes; it's refreshing to see someone actually be proud of their work for once.
Well, this is the top 10 list, and he still says he doesn't generally like watching his videos but these 10 are pretty solid. People will often be their own worst critic, because they know the material best, know what their intent was and every bit they fell short or tiny detail they couldn't quite do right.

It totally makes sense. You crack jokes you think are funny, so when you go back and revisit them, it makes sense they'll make you laugh. I write horror stories, and I write about the stuff that scares me, so when I re-read them I get creeped out by them. It's just logical. :)

The king dragon credits sequence is the fake ending you get if you don't fully pursue the Lysanderoth->Lygon->Chaos Gate arc, like in symphony of the night where you don't find the inverted castle.

The video where the player meets the other party members (sexica, chad, brad), the one where Archibald dies, and the one where lysanderoth's machinations are revealed are some of my favorites. That grandma bit is one of my faves esp cuz not only does it parody a lot of people asking their parents/grandparents or romantic partners , but there's actually legit one or two grandmas on TH-cam who have quite an impressive collection of video games and they are classy and have mature and honest views on the games, "I tip my hat in respect to them" is an understatement.
My personal favorite one is the one where the friend doesn't know the main character dies. The evil laugh and then crying behind a blank face is perfection.

The getting into a hobby one is accurate- fish is now a banned subject at my mothers house because I got wayy into fishkeeping (still am, I have two 5 gal tanks) and she was tierd of hearing me rabble about fishkeeping so she banned talking about it when I was at her house.
The second "bad guy but good father" skit is my favourite. I like how it implies that an innocent situation has just been interrupted by horrible violence, compared to the first skit where a horrible situation is interrupted by something sweet and innocent. I just prefer the idea of the evil dad trying his best to seem like a good person, but his evil side keeps seeping through.
"in-morse code!" and "water reddit" are my favorite. Morse code one is short, universally understandable and just hits you like a truck. The water one is very sophisticated and brings out the long lasting enjoyment.

I respect that you didn't want to have mostly king dragon videos in your top 10. The video where the player meets the other party members (sexica, chad, brad), the one where Archibald dies, and the one where lysanderoth's machinations are revealed are some of my favorites.
Your #10 pick, asking your grandma to identify your figurines, was my very first ProZD video of all time and from that point I was absolutely hooked. You've added a lot of joy and laughter to lots of people's lives, and that is very important. Thank you.

The getting into a hobby one is accurate- fish is now a banned subject at my mothers house because I got wayy into fishkeeping (still am, I have two 5 gal tanks) and she was tierd of hearing me rabble about fishkeeping so she banned talking about it when I was at her house.
The second "bad guy but good father" skit is my favourite. I like how it implies that an innocent situation has just been interrupted by horrible violence, compared to the first skit where a horrible situation is interrupted by something sweet and innocent. I just prefer the idea of the evil dad trying his best to seem like a good person, but his evil side keeps seeping through.

"in-morse code!" and "water reddit" are my favorite. Morse code one is short, universally understandable and just hits you like a truck. The water one is very sophisticated and brings out the long lasting enjoyment.
the water reddit is so damn accurate as well to what happens when you jump into a hobby subreddit. damn hilarious. Love this guy's skits cuz they're hilarious yet so accurate in their portrayal of these communities
Speaking of the water subreddit skit, I've been looking all over for something called "kansui." It's an alkaline solution you put in your water before boiling noodles. It's how a lot of Asian noodles get their springy texture. I've become the water subreddit guy.
